Kingdom Electric

I had purchased a "Big Deal" from Angies list; $50 for $250 worth of electrical services back in October, 2013. I spoke with Stephanie, in the office, several times. I had to change my installation date more than once. She was always professional and very pleasant to deal with. On the morning of installation, Rob and Dennis arrived at my home during the appropriate time frame. They spoke to me about where I wanted the exhaust fan placed and also sought out an aesthetically pleasing location for the outside venting. They presented themselves in a very professional manner and the installation went smoothly. I was more than pleased with the end result. I would highly recommend them for anyone who needs electrical work and I plan on hiring them soon for a lighting job in my kitchen.

They emailed me to let me know that they are in New Jersey and I am in South Carolina so they could not do that work. They responded within a day to let me know.

They were terrific. They were on time and they were very nice. I would use them again without hesitation.

I called Kingdom Electric because an outlet in my basement had lost power and also a few light switches kept buzzing and the lights were flickering. I called them late in the day and the girl who answered the called was very nice and said the technicians would be able to come the next morning. Anthony and Robbie showed up the next day. They showed up on time, were very nice and professional. The outlet in the basement ended up being an insignificant issue but being that they were at my place already, I told them about the issue I was having with the light switches. They checked them out and said they needed to be replaced because they already had burn marks on them. So they replaced them the same morning. I was very happy with the service they provided.

The guys arrived right on time and the two of them spent a good hour doing all the work. They were pleasant and professional and competent. They were good natured and seemed to know what they were doing. They made a couple of good suggestions for improving our wiring. They even took their boots off before walking on our carpet. We will definitely use them again.

I was very satisfied with the recommendations of the technician and his implementation thereof. price was somewhat high but this was offset by the ability to get the work done quickly. Technician provided explanations for all recommendations.

The work they did was fine, but we didn’t get any certification of any work they did. This was the major issue we had with their service. The inspection was completed very quickly. He did notice a few problem areas. We also indicated we had additional work for them, but we never heard back from them in terms of an estimate. I am going to reach out to the company for a physical certification and if I’m satisfied with their response I would consider updating this review.

He did an excellent job. He was meticulously clean with my house. He was very personable, professional, and was on time.

I was very happy Kingdom Electric sent Anthony to do our work. Anthony arrived on time and had all equipment and parts to finish the job. It was a great experence.

Technicians arrived during snow storm with a very upbeat and positive attitude. They inspected what I need done and assessed the cost at approximately $529.00. I actually paid $275 with the discount coupon purchased on Angie's list in advance. They got to work and finished with 1.5 hours. They left everything spotless and knew exactly what to do. My only issue was the initial price without the discount. I've had quite a bit of experience hiring home improvement techs to say that for the type of work done and time it took should have cost around $200 to $250 without the discount. So my advice would be to always get 3 estimates but if Kingdom Electric is in the ballpark with price hire them you won't regret it.

My experience was okay. The owner came out to do the work and he was very nice in my home and he was professional. He took off the socket from the hallway and used that for the new outlet in the closet and it did chip a little so I will have to touch it up.

The services worked out awesome. They were great. He responded fast, came fast, got the job done fast, and left fast. The interaction with the provider was great,and the work turned out good.

The service was good and the price was well worth it for the amount of work done.

it was a angie list special 49 dollars for 249 dollars worth of electrical work. Kindom installed an outdoor outlet,it was a easy run from the box to where the outlet was to go,about 20 feet. It wasn't worth 249 dollars but 49 made it a no brainer. Kindom did a nice professional job.I can't comment on their prices because like i said it was a special but if their pricing was comparable i would use Kingdom for any electrical work i had.

They were informative and professional and I would definitely use them again.

Dennis was very professional and took the extra time needed to do the job the right way.

He did basic electrical wiring. Scheduling was quick, he was able to come out a week after my call. They were very clear on their pricing and all of the quotes seemed to be reasonable. The work done was of high quality and I have no complaints.

The company is pretty good, I like them. I would use him again if I had a problem. They were very quick, very friendly, and I liked them. They did a good job. Wonderful! The first came to review the room and gave us an estimate. We decided to go ahead and scheduled to have them install 4 recessed lights in our office. Not only did they arrive within the prescribed time, but they did so despite a snowstorm! The were very knowledgeable, preformed the installation very precisely as requested, were very neat and got the job done in no time! They did not charge anything extra. The price was honored with a credit for Angie's coupon! We saved a bundle and were extremely happy. We will, in all likelihood, contract with them again for our additional lighting needs.

Not great. They took several hours to figure out that our kitchen faucet had to be replaced. Initially they wanted to charge us close to $150 (just to tell us we needed a new faucet- and that was with the Angie's list coupon), but we talked them down, considering they took a very long time just to tell us we needed a new fixture!!!

I plan to use Kingdom on another bigger project in the spring!

Arrived on time, prepared for the work and completed it all in one day.

We recently purchased a new construction home that had no built in lighting on second floor (we HATE using lamps to light a room). Spent a week getting quotes from our builders electrician, lowes, home depot, and 3-4 other electricians I found in our area before finally taking plunge and buying a one year angies list membership and found kingdom electric as the top rated in our area. Called for a quote, and they scheduled an in home estimate for a few days later. On the day of the estimate I got a call from Anthony who was unable to make it down for appt so gave me a very reasonable quote over the phone after describing the scope of work. The amount we were quoted (and paid after work) was SIGNIFICANTLY lower than anything else I could find. Our builder's electrician was trying to say $250 per recessed light (not LED, standard) installed was a good deal, and that we could "get away" with 3 recessed lights in our mb, and 2 each in next 2 biggest rooms, and 1 in smallest bedroom/office. This would be $2000 for 8 lights, and my wife and felt this was a weird layout of lights and insufficient lighting. Lowe's wanted $2500 for the same layout as the builder (3-2-2-1) and for the 4 recessed and 3 dome wanted the same amount. Home depot told me they wouldn't give me a "written in stone" quote, and that for 4 and 3 it would be "anywhere from $2200-$2900 depending on the wiring and how long the guys needed to install it. Other electricians, while not as high as those 3, were still all in $1200 -$1500 range for the amount of work we wanted done. I was almost shocked by the quote from Anthony and quickly scheduled them to come down to our house to do the work. The 2 workers (sorry I forgot their names already!) came in the early afternoon after another job in the area, looked over the rooms and the lights we purchased, and said they would be back shortly. They were back within an hour, and took about 2 and a half hours for the whole job and were very professional. We were very impressed with the work done and inquired about additional work such as installing a new fixture above the island in our kitchen, and replacing the builders grade chandeliers in the entryway, dining room, and 2nd floor landing. Would highly recommend kingdom electric, and am very confident going forward in using them for any and all our electrical needs! (i left punctuality as n/a, because we didn't have a set appointment time)
