everything went well he was on time did a clean precise job! Cleaned everything up when he was done and he fit us in to his busy schedule! We were very pleased!

He is working with everyone who is waiting on their insurance. If people can only get a certain amount from their insurance he's still working with them. He uses the best of everything and puts 110% into his work. I've heard some horror stories, but none of them apply to him. He's at my house every day and he's very informative. He's made himself aware of everything going on. He actually instructs and guides people. All the way around he's been very very helpful to all the people in my area. It's unbelievable.

Bert's estimate was comparable to the other four that we recieved and we really just had a good feeling about him. He started work on time and communicated quite clearly with us along each step of the way. He shared his opinions when it came to design questions and demonstrated a tremendous amount of patience with our naive ideas and questions. The worst part of the project was the permitting process which was totally out of his hands but he kept up the pressure on the township. He went about his work in a very professional and frank manner and had no problem with the add-ons that started to accumulate as the project progressed. He is INCREDIBLY FAIR with his pricing when it comes to that. My wife is certainly going to miss him now that he is finished and I have to say that he has become a friend that we looked forward to seeing. He does almost all the work himself and if he recommends a sub for electrical, plumbing or tile I highly suggest you use them as they are the tops! An absolute fantastic experience all around! We will not use anyone else. He is worth the wait.

Burt did an excellent job of crafting and finishing (stain / poly) both hardwood and softwood trim for several very difficult areas of my house that others couldn't handle. Two of the areas were curved - he steamed (in his shop at home) one of the moulding pieces and bent it into place. Burt is a consummate professional and an expert in craftsmanship. Everything he added to my house was done to perfection and looks FABULOUS!! He exceeded my expectations when re-installed the outlet that had to be removed (most other woodworkers wouldn't touch anything electric). Don't think that he's expensive, because I found him to be quite reasonable. Burt is also easy to work with and the days that I was working from home, he asked me my opinion on his designs before he nailed them in place. He brought his "work shop" with him, set it up in my garage, and once the job was complete, he proceeded to sweep and vacuum up all of the sawdust he made! He also vacuumed around the staircase once he was done working on it. Overall, I am extremely pleased with the work Burt did and I am very happy to recommend him to others.
