Description of Work: Tom did a great job, working on a plumbing issue we had with hot-cold crossover. It was not easy to troubleshoot but Tom stuck with it and showed great patience and persistence until the issue was resolved. It was obvious that he has alot of plumbing experience and I would definitely call him again for any plumbing issues.

Description of Work: I had 3 plumbers give estimates. The first could not shut off water. The second seemed a bit muddled on how to proceed. Tom Garon was the third. As I showed Tom the work I needed done, he knew immediately what to do. The crew arrived on time and proceeded in a professional manner. as far as price, Garon was the only one who could provide an accurate estimate.

Description of Work: We arrived at our house at the beach and soon realized that we had a broken water pipe. After calling several plumbers, I was told someone could come in about a week. I went on Angie's List and read several reviews and decided to call Garon T Plumbing. The phone was picked up instantly. I could tell that they were busy, but we were treated very well and told that they would try their best. Tom called a little while later to fill us in on where he was and what he thought he could do. The end result was that Tom arrived a few hours later and went to work! He had the problem fixed in no time at all. We were pleased not only about Tom's work, but also his honesty and professionalism. We have recommended him to our neighbors and will definitely consider him our plumber from this point on!

+ -1 moreConsidering it was Memorial Day weekend they answered the phne on the third ring with an actual person who was sympathetic and smart. They responded and were at our home in about one hour. They were also reasonable in price. Ultimately, given the sewage in our basement and the holiday weekend Garon T. is really heroic. I cannot recommend them enough.
Description of Work: The street main backed up into our basement. Garon located an open drain line from an old removed laundry sink where the sewage entered our basement. They capped the line to prevent future backups. They also installed a backwater valve on the laundry drain for the clothes washer to prevent similar backups.

Additionally, he made me aware of a filter that was missing from my water heater and told me to call the company so that they could fix that problem. He also unscrewed the hoses for my outside faucets to work, something I was not aware of before.

+ -1 moreIt was a good experience. He was very nice, personable, and he told me about a couple of other things that were wrong, like on my water heater, and my outside valve. There wasn t anything wrong with them, but he said that for the no freeze faucets to work, you have to take the hose off, and I didn t know that. So, he unscrewed the hoses for me, and he also told me there was a filter that was missing from the bottom of my water heater and he showed me the part in the booklet. He told me to call the company that installed it and have them bring that filter and put it in. He didn t fix them, he just told me about them.
