I called and was set up with an appointment, received a reasonable quote, and gave the ok for the work to be performed. Bob came to my home and gave me a couple of options to work with. I chose to have the knobs and spouts replaced in the bath tub because the old ones were 30+ years old. I was pleased with the final outcome of the work performed. Also I had a leak in the ceiling of the basement where the pvc cement was wore away in two joints from years of the pipes being jostled. Bob cut out the old joints and replaced with two new, well cemented joints and I haven't had a drop of water from that area since. I would definately hire these plumbers again.

Although it took a week of back and forth with Tom Garon to get someone over (they seem to be very busy), when we were able to make an appointment, they were very understanding and were willing to come by on a weekend to get the job done. Bob came over on a Sunday and quickly assessed the situation, explaining in detail what needed to be done. He was quick, courteous and informative. The price was very fair, especially considering the work was done on a weekend. I would highly recommend these guys and will probably use them again.

Bob was great. He gave me two options to move forward with and I selected his recommendation. My existing hardware was leaking due to the age of the fixture - the washer was completely gone and it was metal rubbing on metal. Bob changed out of the shower values and handles and also replaced the tub spout. I would use Garon T again and ask for Bob to do the work.

This was the second time we've hired them and it was another positive experience. They were able to come out the same day we called. He repaired a leak in the basement and fixed out outdoor shower. Also, my husband and I were loudly discussing the flow/stream of the downstairs bathroom faucet and since I didn't want to spend any additional money, we didn't mention it to Tom. However, he had overheard us and repaired it for us without additional charge. Very satisfied.

I had originally had A.J Perri come to check the issue of my water heater going on and off and not staying on to heat the water. Their tech came out and said that the entire burner and computer unit would have to be replaced. They called the next day and quoted me a price of approximately $1,200 for the repair and would have to order the parts. That did not seem right to me so I called the water heater manufacture and talked to their customer service department. The women I spoke with told me that is sounded like the gas sensor needed to be cleaned on the unit and said that was an easy job for a tech to do. I then called back A.J. Perri and asked why their tech did not try cleaning the gas sensor. I was told that they don't usually do that. That seemd strange to me so I complained and the person I spoke with said he would speak to the service manager and call back. He did just that and said that the service manger said he would send a tech back out to do that but if it did not work I would have to do the other repairs. I said thank you and I would think it over. I then check Angie's list and ended up calling Garon T Plumbing. They owner Tom came out a few hours later and when I told him the problem before he even looked at the heater he said it sounded like a gas sensor needed cleaning. About 30 minutes later he had it cleaned and running again for only about $175. I will now only call Garon T for all my pluming and heating issues. I will never call A. J Perri again.

Very unprofessional. If his business is too busy to give me an estimate, just be honest, instead of blowing off a potential customer twice.

called around 7'45 in morning talk to secretary will past it on . got a call back befor 8 oclock was told will be there by 2 pmhe was early. the pump was no good i call hin @2.15 talk of a few other smal problems we came up with a price the work was great so was the price will call again nice to deal with a homest person

I called at around 9am and they had someone at my house by 10 to check it out. He quoted me a price and after I agreed he said he could have someone out to replace it by 2. They arrived around 12 and finished in an hour, maybe an hour and a half, cleaned up the area and took the old water heater. They also took care of the permit that the town required.

Professional service from start to finish ..... Tom called back when he said he would, arrived with in the 2hr window given & fixed my toilet quickly. Took the time to explain to me what the problems were too instead of just telling me what had to be done. Top notch service, would definitely use him again!

The company, that my husband had called originally, couldn't fix our boiler in 2 service calls...and quoted us a ridiculous price for a valve that they couldn't promise would even fix the problem. They actually recommended that we speak with their sales people about purchasing a new boiler. After seeing quite a few bad reports for them on this site, I decided to look for another plumber. I found Garon T Plumbing and Heating through Angie's List and after seeing his favorable reports, had my husband give him a call. He explained the problem over the phone and read Tom the specs from the boiler plate so that he could order the part. They were here within just a couple of days. Entire job took 2 hours to complete and all went very well. Boiler fired right up and the heat is now working well. Tom and his helper were very professional, efficient and friendly. Couldn't be more pleased with his service! Also, my wholehearted thanks to Angie's List...for saving us from making a very costly mistake!

The appointment wasmade on Sunday - I did not request emergency service Mr. Garon arrived on Monday at the agreed time and immediately began to work he found that the liak was from the disposal unit and not the pipe he went for a replacement unit and installed it with no problem the work was done in good time and very professionally I'm completely satisfied with the job.

I was very pleased. While they were here I asked them to look at some other repair and installation work that was needed. They took detailed notes and asked me to order the parts (within warranty so no charge to me) and i asked for an estimate of the repairs and installation work. Please see my other review as there was no followup and when I called and left a message to schedule the work they never responded even after a followup call.

tom was professional and honest - he spent q good amount of time going over all the points the inspector listed on the home inspection rort when we bought the house and honestly assessed what needed to be done and what did not

Unclogged toilet within 20 minutes of initial call. Love this guy, super reasonable and reliable, used him several times.

After trying Angie's list fior the first time, I called Garon Plumbing Sunday afternoon, expecting to hear back Monday, but my call was actually returned about an hour later. The owner said he would stop by between 9 and 10 the next morning and he was at my house by 9:30. He showed me where the leak was coming from and his estimate for a replacement was what I expected. He volunteered to replace the valve to my humidifier as well and asked me if I had an Angie's coupon. His crew arrived later in the morning. They were friendly and polite and had the job done by 2:00PM. Overall very pleased with the service

they arrived within half an hour of me calling them, they replaced the leaking plumbing, answered all my questions and cleaned up after themselves. it was a very pleasant experience

He was very professional, came within the time perimeter arranged. He did his work within a reasonable time and his work habits were very clean.

Called sometime between 9am and 10am. Received a call back around 10am that Thomas would be able to come over around 2pm. He arrived very promptly, evaluated the situation and went out for parts. Returned within a reasonable time and spent hours working on the central drain waste vent stack due to the additional cracks found. He did an excellent job as after the points of the breaks were all identified he managed to replace and repair all the points without any visible wall damage. Before calling Thomas I was almost certain the upstairs bathroom would need a remodel due to the likelihood of the wall needing to come out. Thomas pulled off the whole job of repairing the central drain and after putting the bathroom cabinetry back up, there are no visible external signs of the repair other than the lack of leaking water. He completed the upstairs toilet repair quickly and cleanly as well. I was thoroughly impressed with his professionalism and how considerate he was personally and of his work. I would hire him again without even a second thought. Overall a leaking mess I thought was going to be a large scale nightmare was fixed fast and for far less than I thought. I am very pleased.

Called Garon T after seeing reviews on Angie's List and the coupon that was offered, as our gas grill was not lighting. He came at the day and time scheduled and was able to fix the problem without a hitch. While he was here, my husband mentioned a toilet upstairs that was never properly installed, as the tank wobbled, and we also asked about a faucet in the same bathroom that was loose. The repairs were made on the spot. We never expected those jobs to be done that day and had figured we would have to schedule another appointment. He asked us to show him the problems and they were fixed within minutes. We will definitely call again for any future plumbing needs.

I contacted T Garon Plumbing as a result of the excellent Angie's list ratings and proximity to my home. I contacted Tom's office by email and phone. When I reached the office they committed a call back that night. Tom called as committed and set up an appointment for the next day. He was on time and professional. As the house had renters he contacted me as requested when the work was completed on site. Tom was able to rectify the issue in 1 visit as he is a Moen certified plumber and had all the necessary parts in his truck. Tom took payment via credit card and also proactively offered $20 off coupon as a result of Angie's List. Would definately rehire and highly recommend.

Could not have asked for a better experience! He was very accomodating, coming on short notice even though it was not an emergency. He was quick, very reasonably priced, high quality work, and very courteous and pleasant. I highly recommend him for any plumbing job!

We requested an estimate on a Saturday, were given and accepted that estimate on the phone and were scheduled immediately for later that day. The gentleman arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and cleanly. He was professional and helpful in answering questions. I am happy to recommend him.
