Faux-Get-Me-Not, LLC provides Custom Decorative Painting. Joan Germain started Faux-Get-Me-Not, LLC in 2005 after realizing her passion for decorative painting. Some of the unique finishes and services offered are Elegant Glazes, Custom Cabinet Finishes, Old World Textures, Venetian Plaster, Earth Plasters, Stenciling, Gold Leafing and Children’s Murals. Faux-Get-Me-Not uses high quality and en...vironmentally friendly decorative painting and plaster products. Joan Germain is a Certified Venetian Plaster Applicator. She has trained at decorative painting schools learning various finishes and staying current with today‘s design trends. Joan has also had the fortunate opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s leading faux finishers. Joan earned both a BA in Fine Arts and a BFA in Interior Design at Kean University. She worked in the design field for several years before starting Faux-Get-Me-Not. She chose to work as a decorative painter because of the dramatic impact color and texture can have on an environment. A faux finish can really bring out the personality of a space! Excellent, Joan did a great job was both very professional & personable. She was prompt in returning phone calls and her work was very detailed oriented & her prices were reasonable.
Description of Work: Joan faux painted our bathroom and also prepared the walls first with a skim coat and sanding.
