Abra-Cadabra Junk Be Gone LLC

They were very good. They came the same day that I called them. They are very pleasant people. They do what they are supposed to do and they are very simple.

There were things inside the house, there were things outside the house. Five refrigerators and things like that. They would just load it up and take it away. It was just a lot of things.

I called Abra Cadabra to come and take down a shed and remove it and last minute realized when I had cleaned both of our sheds out we had about 7 bags of junk plus a lawn mower & platform from an old pool.Well from the initial phone call speaking to Linda to the entire completion of job it was wonderful. I have never had someone show up a 1/2 hr early to do anything for me.I had mentioned I had to be someplace in the a.m and low and behold my doorbell rang at 7:30 instead of 8. Richard took the time to explain the breakdown of the pricing(as did Linda with an estimate,was a little more than what I had in my head but I did add all that extra stuff last minute,I just wanted it gone) and once I agreed the shed was on its way to disappearing.They worked fast and cleaned up and the mess under the shed as well.All was done in a very timely matter.I paid Richard and they were on their way.Poof it was all gone.Well I did realize after they left the stuff my daughter had left in the shed for donating was actually to be thrown out but the town can take that.At least I won't have to whittle away the collection of garbage over time.Don't think they would have taken all we had accumulated in one shot.I would definitely call them again when I do another Spring cleaning.Thank you so much for a great job!

He was good. They were able to give me a price right up front so I knew what I was getting in for when I got in. They did everything according to the way they laid it out on the phone for me. They were clear on the cost and they stuck to the plan.

The initial appointment call was excellent. The owners wife took the call and spent time explaining the service, how charges are calculated and how their costs compare to other services. I asked to be called 45 minutes in advance of the appointment time since I live a distance from the office. They called as requested, and even though I was late, they got the job started. By the time I arrived they were just about done. The basement was not only empty of all junk, but was swept completely clean. It looked great! Price was exactly as estimated. The men were friendly and professional. They even cleaned up some additional items from around the building that we're not included in the initial request.

They arrived on time gave me a quote and explained what they were going to do. They professionally guided their truck into a very narrow driveway and began working. It took them about three hours, which was the time they estimated. When they were done the only evidence left of a shed was a bear spot in my grass. They swept the driveway, raked the spot and left it cleaner than when they arrived. I also had several plants within 3 feet of the area that they were working in and they weren't touched. I have never had work like this done before and didn't have time to get other quotes. I felt it was a little expensive however they explained their rate per truck of debris and were accurate. I would use them again in the future because they did great work and were very professional

It was a pleasure to call and speak to a real person, not voice mail.. I Called this morning,,and they said they would be here between 12and2.. they got here at 12:05.By 12:30 the job was done. this was after 2 weeks of waiting for callbacks from others.

Called Abra-Cadabra to haul away a variety of junk from a house in Bayville. They arrived on time and with a large truck and trailer. Once I showed both men what I wanted hauled away they gave me a price that we agreed upon. They immediately went to work taking the items away. Half of the debris was in a basement of a house in which was on a small hill and the truck was on the street. It involved climbing and leg work. In less than an hour 1/2 of a dump truck load was gone. The price initially seemed a bit high but when you figure in the price of a dumpster, the labor for 2 or 3 people, your back, etc. it was a very fair deal. I will be using them again.

These gentlemen were prompt, courteous, friendly, did a complete job, then swept up the areas, leaving them clean and neat, was completely satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends.

If there was a grade higher than A, these guys earned it today. Called last week. The next day Linda (Rich's wife) called back and she went through their whole procedure and expected costs. Appointment was set for 8 am this morning - we received a confirmation call yesterday. The truck backed into my driveway at exactly 8 am. We discussed and agreed the final price. They proceeded to remove 12 yards of junk including a player piano that they described as the second worst object they have ever removed. They were quick (done in about an hour) friendly and swept my driveway and garage. we would use them again and highly recommend their service.

They were a little pricey and the estimate was a little too high so I didn't use them. I found somebody else to do it for a lot less. He told me if I paid cash, he would give me a little break, but it was only $50. The guys were nice but the price was a little steep. They were on time when they told me they would be here. I called and they came the next morning. They seemed like good guys.

My little house needs lots of work inside and out, so stripping away the unnecessary junk was the logical the first step. After finding Abra-Cadabra on Angie's List, I emailed them Monday evening and received a call from Linda on Tuesday. She explained the process and price ranges, and we set up an appointment for Wednesday morning. The guys arrived within the hour window, did a walk-through and provided me with an estimate. I accepted the estimate, and the work began: lugging many heavy items from inside. Outside, the shed and partial fence were deconstructed, then hauled away with additional fence pieces, a gate, cement slabs and several cinder blocks. The area was swept clean, and all was done within 45 minutes. Abra-cadabra indeed!

Arrived within appointed time frame and was directed to pick up site. Shed pieces and doors removed.

We had 17 yards of garbage and large furniture pieces to be disposed of. Instead of charging a flat rate for a minimum of 25 yards, as so many of the hauling companies, Abracadaba charged by the yard. They did a great job of cleaning out a garage filled with garbage and household rubbish and took a large old-fashioned entertainment center complete with a TV, as well as a second TV. The company is licensed to take the old tubed televisions. When they had to come a little past the "time window" because of a problem with their truck, they called right away and kept us informed. It was a muddy, rainy day and even though they had been at another job, they made sure they were cleaned up and did not leave a speck of mud or dirt on the carpets. They were friendly and efficient.

I thought everything was good. They showed up on time. They did a good job. They worked hard. They seemed like nice folks. The price was fair. They cleaned up when they were done and they were just generally good all around.

Rich and his staff were totally professional from the first phone call until the job was done. We were overwhelmed by the amount of junk in our basement, but in about 4 hours it was gone and they even swept up! We think they did an A+ job worth every cent!

I called Abra-Cadabra and spoke with Linda, who pleasantly explained what services could be performed and what I could expect to pay. I made an appointment that day. The guys showed up on time and were extremely professional and courteous to both myself and my wife. They started the job right away, and we were amazed to see how much work they got done in such a short period of time. They hauled everything out, put in their truck, cleaned up thoroughly and were on their way. The process could not have gone more smoothly, and the two gentlemen who did the work could not have been nicer. This is the first time we hired a company based on Angie's List, and we were not disappointed.

My experience with them was very good. They automatically gave me the coupon discount from their website because it was a "bigger" job and I appreciated that because it meant that I didn't have to track it down. This is a family-owned business and it shows that they care about the work and that customer satisfaction is very important to them. Scheduling was easy, the men showed up on time, worked efficiently, and everyone was courteous. I plan on calling them again and using them again.

I called on an Tuesday and spoke to Linda, who answered the phone explained how they work so I knew what to expect. We scheduled service for that Saturday (today). She followed-up on Friday and reconfirmed the appointment for 8am on Saturday. I told her that the guys (brother duo, it's a family biz) were welcome to show up earlier than 8am. Sure enough, they rolled up at 7:40A.M. They looked at the work involved and within about 10 minutes we agreed on the price and services to be rendered. The price was fair. They finished up around 11:30A.M. They worked pretty quickly and left us with a clean perimeter ready for the next phase of Operation Irene Clean-Up. Would hire again. Thanks, guys!
