Greg installed backup generator transfer switch and 2 new electrical outlets. Work was completed on time and passed inspections. Reasonable price and was assessible over the phone and email.

It really went great. Greg came in and fixed or replaced our faulty outlets and missing GFI in less then 2 hours (approx 6 outlets) Great experience. Would definitely hire again. I did mention i was thinking of mounting my flat screen on the wall in my living room. If your like me you are far to afraid of damaging your precious flat screen, to try this yourself. Greg showed me some pictures of his work, and it looks amazing. I'm really looking forward to working on my living room, and will absolutely be calling Power Plus Electric.

Greg was extremely dependable and professional, this project required multiple appointments and he always showed up on time and completed his work within his time estimates. The quality of work was very high, Greg's installation of the required materials was neat and clean. Greg provided many useful recommendations for lighting design and his attention to small details, such as light and switch locations, allowed him to get the job done right the first time. Greg also made specific recommendations to allow for the future connection of a standby generator and demonstrated strong knowledge of generator operation. This job involved a number of different tradesmen and Greg was able to work around everyone else, and changing schedules, without complaint. My other contractors all commented favorably on Greg's work and found him very easy going and pleasant to work along side.. Greg passed both rough and final inspection without any comment from the town electrical inspector, he has a clear understanding of electrical code. I would generally recommend Greg, based on his services performed for my job and would use him again if/when necessary.

I've hired Greg of Power Plus Electric to work on two projects for me so far. I first came across Greg while getting a quote for a panel replacement, cleaning up some old out-of-code wiring, and adding a few outlets in a room at a "project" house. The existing electrical was a complete mess and we needed a lot of work to get it up to code and pass inspection. I received 4 separate quotes and met with 4 sets of contractors. While Greg's was not the lowest price, I felt that he came across as the most professional and most likely to get the job done right to pass inspection as he was the only one of the four to point out a few issues with the existing wiring and the only one to really dig into the walls to make sure he understood the scope of the work -- I felt that this was significant as it meant that the quote was much more likely to be accurate than the other guys who just kind of looked around and didn't really point out any of the other issues for consideration in their quotes. That worries me as it usually means that you end up paying more for "unexpected" work. Greg was also the only one of the 4 contractors to suggest using a surface mold to get an outlet to a side of the house that had no outlets and was already finished. No one else even brought this up as a possibility and it worked out well as it saved me from having to refinish the walls. Additionally, another contractor saw an issue with the ground to the water meter, but offered a much more expensive solution (running a new ground) to be able to jump the meter. Greg cleverly secured the ground to the other side of the meter by simply using a pipe that was already in the path of the ground and just happened to be on the other side of the meter. Throughout the whole process, I was out of town on a business trip and Greg kept me up-to-date with photos and emails. The house ultimately passed inspection without issue. I appreciate that he checks his email and responds to them fairly quickly as I find it's not very common among contractors to get a timely email response. So while Greg's quote wasn't the lowest, I felt the most confident that he really considered all of the possible costs and gave the most accurate quote and wouldn't end up costing more. Everything on that project worked out swimmingly and, as good electricians are hard to come by, I asked him if he would work a bit out of his typical service range to do the recessed lighting in my own house. Greg got to my house early on both days and started work straight away. Throughout the process, he asked for my input to ensure that we got the job done right and the lights were installed exactly where I wanted them installed. And while there was dust and debris generated from the work, Greg was careful to cover up as much of the floor and surrounding surfaces as he could. He also went out of his way to clean up after each work day. In summary, I would definitely recommend Power Plus Electric. While the quote you get might not be the lowest, you have to keep in mind that it may be the most accurate and you can feel confident that the job will get done on time, get done professionally, get done promptly, and get done on time.
