I emailed the contact from here. I got an automated response to contact someone else. I did that. I got a call back from the inspector's son, Ryan. We had a long, detailed conversation where I booked an appointment for Tuesday March 1 at 100. I had wanted 1200, he insisted 100 was better.I explained Iived an hour away. I needed to be finished by 3ish to get home a reasonable time for my daughter. He said his father would be there. At 130 on the day, I called to see where he was and first the son said he would check something and call back. He called back and said the appointment had been put "on hold." W** did that mean? He didn't actually book the appointment. He wanted to send someone at 400. I explained we had driven over an hour, waited an hour, and I couldn't wait until 400 to be finished at 630 in an empty house over an hour from home, when had a child coming home! He called back and "apologized" but tried to make it seem as though I hadn't actually booked the appointment. Beware.

We were lucky that Mike Kuhn of Housemaster Home Inspections was available to do perform our inspection at time we requested. he was very professional, friendly, honest and educated. We received a very detailed report with photos the Monday after our Saturday inspection. He answered all of our questions during the inspection and during the days following. In fact, we had a concern regarding the foundation of the addition and when he returned to pick up the radon canister he re-evaluated it. I am not sure why this company doesn't have more reviews, but we would highly recommend him.

They were very professional and through. Their price was reasonable, and I recommended them to my sister-in-law.

Inspection went well. The home was a short sale so the electric and gas were off. Inspector advised what to look for when service returned. I was provided with a checklist for items to look for prior to closing. He asnswered all questions concerning feasibility of renovations I was considering. I was very pleased with the inspecction.

I was very pleased with House Master. Bill was polite, professional, and extremely thorough. He found a few subtle, but very important things that could have been missed by a less detailed inspector. We were very pleased with the result and it allowed us to catch some important things to protect our investment. Janet in their office answered multiple calls for follow-up questions, and was always polite and friendly. Finally, they have some very nice touches for a new homeowner, including providing a DVD on how to perform common repairs, as well as a list of regular required maintenance. Their prices were right in line with other inspectors in the area.
