American Bath Resurfacing

Outstanding work!! Great response time, clean, conscientious I could not ask for more. My tub was nearly brand new and I dropped a decorative item in it and it chipped the tub bottom. The base of the tub had a pattern to it so I was so worried about how they would repair it. I don't know what they did, but it looks perfect! I am delighted and would highly recommend them!!

Horrible horrible horrible paint chipped off tub in a month! The owner kept blaming us they are rude and customer service sucks ! Do not hire them they shouldn’t be in business . Rip off ! I would give them no stars if it was a choice. I’m out $100’s of dollars now with a chipped tub and they do nothing but blame the customer for their horrible work !

Do NOT hire American Bath to refinish and reglaze your bath! Within 2 years after doing the job the paint peeled and chipped twice and now they want to charge me an additional $600+ to fix it a third time. Unprofessional, poor quality scam artists!

I never got as far as getting work done. Spoke with him on the phone, trying to get an understanding of his service, especially in comparison with others. Wouldn't answer my questions about ingredients, etc, "It's just a tub", he said. Not interested in having me make reasonable inquiries before buying his service, which is one which needs to be done right. Watch out for this guy, in my experience vendors who aren't forthcoming about what they will do can't be trusted.

They closed the bathroom door while they regrouted....that just means they smeared some new grout over the old grout...that cost $350.00. Then they caulked directly over the mildewed tub caulk. Was I partly to blame? Yes, because I did not throw their butts out of my house, I just figured, well they must know what they are doing...not. They ran out of caulk and one guy had to go to store to buy more caulk...that seemed odd in itself. I complained that the caulk did not match colors, so they came back the next day and put more caulk on top. It is now cracking, peeling and falling off, only 8 months later. they stink

The owner of the company just showed up very early one morning to do the work. He was suppose to call the nite before to let me know the time he was coming. As he proceeded to work, I noticed he was not following the steps outlined on his website which explained in detail how the tub would be refinished. There was no primer coat applied or sealer like the web site explained. In addition, the paint was rolled on; not sprayed like the web site explained. I voiced my concern as to why he wasn't spraying and he claimed not all tubs need to be sprayed.What I got in the end was a nice white tub with tiny little bubbles in the finish and no sheen to it. I called two days later and expressed my dissatisfaction with the end result. He offered to come to fix it, but I refused because I did not want to hear any more excuses. He agreed to refund all my money ($350.00) which I received promptly two days later. But now I will have to pay to get this finish removed should I need to reglaze the tub again. Live and learn.....buyer beware!
