You want the contractor to know what they're doing, you want them to stay reasonably on budget, and you want someone to meet their proposed deadlines. This is the second time we've hired MVP Contracting & Son (Mike). This was a minor job. The first was for a bathroom remodel. Mike and his team excel at what they do, stay on budget, and hit their timeline goals. We would hire them for any work we need on our home (a pre-1960 single family).
Description of Work: We asked MVP Contracting (Mike) to look at and paint the foundation of our house. Mike responded quickly, came over to look at our property, and returned with an estimate. His estimate was more than reasonable and we accepted. The work was completed within the week, and we couldn't be happier with the way it looks.

I’ve been worried about hiring a contractor because I was previously taken advantage of but Mike was honest, straightforward and professional throughout. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate MVP and the job they did. I am going to be hiring them again for two more repair jobs at my home and my sister was so impressed she is going to get an estimate from them for a total bathroom overhaul at her home. If you are in need of any repairs and want someone trustworthy and professional, I would highly recommend you call Mike at MVP!

We love MVP so much after doing our kitchen that we called them back for more work. They just know how to do a job and do it exactly how you want, and even make improvements along the way which I appreciate. They take the time to answer all your questions , and they keep you updated along the way. Their pricing is even reasonable. I always tell people, you get what you pay for. We recently had guests over and they were blown away by the kitchen and entire room. This is our first house and thanks to MVP we can now call it home because the work inside just looks incredible. I have found Mike to be a very professional contractor that stays involved until the job is completed. Jobs are completed on time. Each text or phone call is returned the same day. Although I get estimates from other contractors, I return to MVP. Their previous job is their best reference.

Michael was great to work with and you could tell that he had his thumb on the pulse of the project; carefully monitoring and directing all of his subcontractors. There were quite a few disciplines at play here, seeing as we took the room down to the studs, but absolutely every aspect of it was executed expertly. MVP Contracting is an amazing company and I can highly recommend them!

Pricing is reasonable and transparent from the estimate through solutions to unexpected issues that came up in our almost 100 yr old house. When we had thoguhts on materials or solutions, Mike would always work with us and provide estimates coast to keep evrything in perspective. Mike and his team are friendly and professional and the job was broom clean each afternoon before they left the home. .

They went down to the studs of the room and reconstructed the whole kitchen. Everything was done meticulously—cabinets. trims, lighting, painting, plumbing.
