Micciche & Son

Joe removed about 30 feet of cracked and damaged walk to the entrance in the front of my house and constructed a redesigned walk and new step to my front entrance. The entire job was completed in about 2 days. This is the second job Joe has done for me and again I am very pleased with the results.

Joe was professional, courteous, honest and efficient. Returned calls, quoted promptly and fairly, went above and beyond in execution of job. Would definitely use him again.

From estimate to final delivery, Joe was the NICEST, most accommodating, prompt, and professional guy. He showed up for an estimate in under 20 minutes from my initial inquiry, and gave a fair price and excellent service. The job was done quickly, he was punctual and friendly, and he then gave me tips for prolonging the life and quality of my new stone. I would highly recommend him- I feel like this is the first time since moving to this neighborhood that I've found a trustworthy contractor and I'm very grateful.

Joe did a great job. He broke up and removed the four damaged sections of the sidewalk, set the forms and poured the new slabs. After he finished, my surrounding lawn looked untouched and the entire construction site was left neat and clean. He took care of the city permit and scheduling the inspection. He also did fine job in repairing the cracked mortar joints on my front steps. I felt that his price was reasonable and was so pleased with his skill and professionalism that I will be having him do additional work on my property next spring.

Joe responded to my initial call within a short time frame and came over for a written estimate a few days later, arriving on time. The agree upon work was completed on schedule in the fall to my satisfaction for a reasonable price. The top coat wore off in a spot after the start of winter. Joe responded to this observation in a short time and offered additional repairs in the spring. He made the secondary repairs without any prompting. The initial work was good and the unexpected follow up seamless. I will definitely call Joe for future work.

Joe assessed the situation and said in order for it to be redone it would need stucco estimating $1300+ or it could be patched for $450 since there were minor cracks and then repainted. He also gave us permission to call sherwin williams for the name of the exact material (paint) they use to complete these projects so that we could save a few dollars and do it ourselves since my husband is handy. We did not use his services since we attempted the project ourselves, but I will be using his services for future projects because he was prompt in returning my call, honest, professional, willing to answer questions, and knowledgable. He came when he said he would on time and listened to exactly what i wanted and consulted me along the way. He and his worker are very professional and polite and courteous. The fireplace came out exquisite and the front of the house looks like new. I would absolutely get him again for future needs and i have already recommended him to others.

Needed someone to come out quickly and do repairs to my brick steps in the front to satisfy a home inspection - Joe promptly came out to give an estimate and made the repairs quickly thereafter - he and his partner did an excellent job. It went absolutely fabulously. He did everything to our specifications and better. He was very professional and responsive. It was a dream job done!

Joe was great! He gave me a reasonable price, and his work was top notch! He seemed to have much greater knowledge and expertise than any of the other people from whom I requested quotes, and he had a strong attention to detail. Although I've had some pretty awful experiences with contractors in the past, there was never a moment when I doubted Joe would do a fabulous job, and I'd be happy with the final product. He was punctual and responsive, and I liked that he did all the work himself with just one or two assistants, so there were never any quality control concerns. He said he was treating the job as if it were his own house, and I really believe that was the case. It was the best experience I've ever had with a contractor by far. I can't recommend him enough!

Joe came to see the job right away and talked me through exactly what he wanted to do to repair both stoops. The brick and top landing on the front stoop were beat up from last year's horrible snow and ice - so I had hairline cracks in brick and some concrete gouged and splintered on the landing. The back stoop had previously been given a skim coat of concrete and the work hadn't held up at all. Joe explained why and what he would do differently that would make the work hold and also explained how to fix my very rusted railing as I am prepping my house for sale. He came to do the job 2-3 days later. He's polite, honest, meticulous and left he job site immaculate. One of the best contractors I've ever dealt with, I highly recommend him. I would use him again in a heartbeat.

Working with Joe Micciché was a delight from beginning to end. During the estimate-getting process, one of the other masonry contractors actually recommended Joe when he found out I had gotten an estimate from him: "he does great work and I'll charge you more." Joe was always punctual, offered great advice regarding materials, was understanding when we opted to keep our existing footing instead of building out for a bigger landing, and was just an all around great person to deal with. Our stoop was literally crumbling away and after four days we had a stoop to be proud of! Cannot recommend highly enough. He gave us personal, friendly, professional service and we could not be more pleased with the results!

Joe is a very friendly, competent and honest guy. Glad I asked him for an estimate, since another contractor wanted to turn this simple job into a massive project and charge me over 3 times more! Joe also offered lots of other helpful tips for other masonry projects around the house that I've been working on. He oversaw the job personally and made sure it was done right. I would definitely use Mr. Micciche again!

Joseph came by a day after I called for an estimate and delivered a written estimate two days later. Job was small so he worked it in on a single day in between his larger jobs. They arrived around 7am and were done by 2 or 3pm. He and his assistant pulled off all the loose brick/stone from the stoop and chipped out all the loose/crumbling mortar and then put it all back together again. They also cut out our old/rusted/dangerous iron railing (not required per code) which gave us a lot more room to get in and out of the front door. Work was done quickly and cleanly at a reasonable price by courteous people - so, we're happy.

It is difficult sometimes to find a company to do minor repairs. The provider was on-time, very courteous and excellent work was done. I would highly recommend this company.

His estimate was in the ballpark with the other 2 Angie's list contactors I called. I seriously considered his proposal but felt I got a few extras using another contractor. I would definitely call him for future projects and recommend him to friends.

Joe is wonderful to work with. He's very personable and pleasant, punctual, attentive to every little detail in a job, and leaves the work site very clean and tidy. He returns phone calls usually the same day, or at latest the next day. Joe explains the job up front and is patient and helpful with any questions. He's also respectful of the "character" of your property and is willing to work with it. With the masonry repairs last year, he was happy to work with the flagstone porches and steps that may well be as old as my nearly 100-year old home and didn't try, like some others, to sell me a big job to tear out and completely replace everything in a more modern style. For the driveway job this year, his estimate was in line with others and he was especially helpful with some advance prep, which entailed three visits ... removing some old asphalt around a stump so the arborist could grind it back, tearing out an old broken concrete area in front of the garage and prepping it, and resetting some edging brownstones the arborist's truck dislodged. The driveway was left clean, usable, and safe after every visit. For the main asphalt job, he worked closely with his asphalt associates and was always on site and attentive to everything ... and at the very end, where a few feet of the old garage floor slab was a little bit low at the entrance, built up along the edge with concrete to even it out. The driveway looks great and the prep and finishing looked like a solid, thorough job that should last for many years. There's an old stone wall around my property that needs attention, and I look forward to working with Joe in the future to get some problem areas rebuilt and reset.

Mr. Micciche was very personable and professional. He was quick in providing an estimate for the job and was very reasonably priced. Prior to doing the work he explained any possible issues that may occur. Mr. Micciche did a GREAT job and left my yard clean every day. We would hire him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend his work.

They did what we asked them to do. They didn't try to make the problem seem worst then it really was. Some contractors try to make it seem that your house is going to fall down if they don't make the repairs the way they want too. They.did a great job.

I called Joe and he was very polite and scheduled a time that fit in my schedule. He arrived on time and gave me an estimate for the work to be performed. It was very fair and I asked him to fit it in ASAP. The following week he called to let me know he would start the job the next day. When I arrived home from work, the work had begun and the following day he had poured the sidewalks and finished the front steps. The job was very well done and was very neat and clean. Joe came by the next morning to clean up the site and remove the forms. He is a very nice guy and very professional. I would definitely use him again and recommend him highly.

House foundation looked horrid. It had layers of old cement that had started to crack and crumble causing unevenness and in some spots even gaping holes. I called 3 masons from Angie's list. 2 responded. We gave Micciche & Sons the job because they were personable, explained in detail how they would handle certain issues and they were reasonably priced and always prompt. Our foundation is absolutely beautiful now. I am very happy with their work. .

It is a small company but the owner is always there doing the work which I like! I found his price to be fair and his work was impeccable, and he was here every day. I call him all the time when I need cement work around the house, and I have been impressed with his services!
