Garden State Gutter Cleaning

My experience with Garden State Gutter Cleaners has been nothing short of infuriating. Starting when they showed up unannounced to clean my gutters – not even knocking on the door. And despite there being barely any leaves on the ground or in the gutters. They spent a mere 10 minutes on the job, didn't properly secure themselves, and then hit me with a $200+ bill. The frustration only escalated from there. When I tried to communicate with them, I was met with glacial response times. It took from Friday to Wednesday just to get an email reply. And when I questioned the crew about their unexpected arrival, they claimed it was scheduled - something I have no recollection of, nor was able to find any correspondence. The cherry on top of this disaster sundae? When I asked them to look at a simple downspout connection, they quoted me $700. It felt like a blatant attempt to overcharge and like they didn’t even look at what I was asking them to fix. But the worst part was yet to come. In my attempts to address these issues, I was met with combative responses from both their customer service team and the owner. Instead of acknowledging their mistakes, they: Blamed me for not monitoring their work (while I was on a business call) Made me feel like I was the one who screwed up Took an aggressive stance rather than trying to resolve the situation What I wanted was a gutter cleaning service that would: Communicate clearly about appointments Provide quality work when it's actually needed Take my best interests into account Instead, I got a company that seems more interested in fleecing customers than building trusted customer relationships. Needless to say, I can't recommend them. In fact, I'd advise avoiding them like the plague. This experience has turned a simple home maintenance task into a major headache.

GSGC cleaned my home’s gutters, but they also soft washed my roof, house, and power washed and scrubbed my deck. Everything looks brand new and amazing! The crew was polite, efficient, and spent the time to complete the job the right way. Customer Service was easy to deal with and schedule the work. Excellent price as well compared to other companies I quoted with. I would highly recommend Garden State Gutter Cleaning.

It went well - I was very pleased. It was nice not getting locked into a long term contract. When we need them again - they will come out again. Scheduling was easy. The men were professional and courteous.

They did a good job every time. Only two problems: - they showed up several weeks late - they keep calling me want to schedule another cleaning.

I tried contacting them several times - via Angie's list Messaging. In my opinion, they were not very responsive via messaging. I called them several times, got a person once, who (as I recall) said someone would stop by to render an estimate - but would not commit to a specific date and time. I waited several days, then tried calling them several times... but seemed to always get sent to voice mail. It's my opinion they were very unresponsive via phone too. To my knowledge, no one ever stopped by, and I never received an estimate. No work was performed.

Garden State Gutter, who we have used for several years for gutter cleaning, replaced a 50' piece of gutter that had come detached from the roof and was hanging. The workers were very courteous and professional. We received a quote while they were on site and agreed to have the work done. Within a couple of hours, the work was done. They did an excellent job, and followed up a few days later to check to see how everything went. I would definitely use them again for any gutter repair or replacement work, and will continue to use them for cleaning.

Used them two times for gutter cleaning. Prices are very reasonable and service is good. If issues do arise, the management will go out of their way to ensure you have a positive experience. Will continue to use and recommend them.

Easy to schedule, competitive pricing, and responsive to communications. They reported an issue they found, and offered a price for follow-up. They also contacted us in the Spring in case we were in need/ready for another cleaning. Everything was hassle free and pressure free.

It went well enough for me to schedule the same service for my son's home and service was completed promptly. What I appreciated most was the follow up calls. One after service completed and the another to reschedule for the next season. I no longer have to worry about climbing an extension ladder clean gutters and leaders.

The gutter that was in disrepair was replaced quickly and efficiently enabling water to flow smoothly to the exit area. The crew showed up promptly and the service that I admire most about Garden State is that they brought the problem to my attention after doing a cleaning on my gutters. There was no pressure, no stress put on the consumer if it wasn't done immediately. It was handled very professionally by Michael of Garden State, the company representative. Also, it was done at a very reasonable price. Their prices are fairer than some of the more well-known and well-advertised companies. I would use them again and recommend them to other consumers. When the men arrive they notify me that they are going to begin the job. They are always very polite and courteous. They do a thorough job. The gutters, roof and property are always cleaned before the men leave.If there are any issues, I receive a notification from the office to discuss it with them. I have been using this company for over 7 years and am very satisfied with their work and professionalism.

They are professional, responsive, proactive, fairly priced and always there when we need them. After the two hurricanes they were there quickly to repair damaged gutters and never tried to sell us something we didn't need. Best in class!

Great..I didn't have to even be home. They take care of everything and make it easy.

I scheduled gutter cleaning in last fall, but no one show up to clean the gutter. I called this spring and complain, they came on April and did the job. Past few days just have heavy rain, Today, I had paint contractor to paint the exterior of my house, they find out most of the gutter were clog with leaves and water. They did a very bad job of it. Now I find out how bad were their job, you don't usually know if they did a good job or no, because you can't go up and look into the gutter to check.

They gave us different choices for fixing them along with estimates for each cost. We ended up replacing the gutters while keeping our downspouts and only adding a new one. When we noticed that there was gap between the gutter and the siding on one side of the house, they promptly came out and filled the gap with silicon at no extra cost.

I really like their price! I have used them before. The quality is very good and they show up on time.

They did high-quality work, but I thought the price was much too high. I don't think I'd use them again. They were very professional and punctual, though.
