Erick'S Painting And Roofing

Scraped, sanded, and painted my house and now it looks beautiful. Erick Did a good job and made sure little details were paid attention to and made sure that we were satisfied. Would recommend for good price and value compared to other companies in the area.

I got quotes from half a dozen painters in the area and got a good sense of relative strengths of each. Many were not full service companies and brought in subs to do components of the work. Tirondola, for instance, doesn't do his own carpentry and, as a result, when I worked with him for a quote, he didn't know what was included and what wasn't (and actually made repeated misrepresentations about what he would do.) Wilburs had an excelllent price, but did not do roofing work. Gikas does it all, and as a carpenter Gikas had an excellent focus on the details of my job, but at twice the price. I saw signs for Erick's in my neighborhood this summer for the first time so gave him a call. He does carperntry, roofing and painting and had an appreciation of what i wanted to get done. I have an 1890 victorian that hasn't been well maintained over the years and we really wanted to make some of the architectural details (dental moulding, pillasters and pedament, etc.) shine. Erick's crews were responsive to all my specific requests and, along with a colorist that we hired separately, turned our house into a gem. Erick's crews did several extra work items that came up after my initial price quotation at my request at no additional cost. The work was very professional and performed quickly. My only reservation was that some of the prep work was not as detailed oriented as I had hoped and expected. That said many of the items that I wanted them to go back and address, they did without argument.
