+ -1 moreAfter waiting 2-3 weeks for the first place I called to follow through, I started fresh -- with Phil at Don Cleary's. He was right on top of it -- came to look within a day, told me what was needed, gave me a quote and told me he'd be back within two days. He told me he'd have to dismantle and take back to his place, do the repair there, then come back and reassemble. All in all about three hours of work including carpentry. He came exactly when he said he would, finished as predicted, charged me reasonably as quoted, and was very personable, friendly, neat and knowledgeable as well. I hope I have another opportunity to use his services and I will recommend him to others.
Description of Work: Replace an old-fashioned front porch sidelight-type window alongside the entry door -- some genius had smashed it, maybe attempted break-in -- and it was a rather complex old aluminum frame set-up with limited options as to how it could be replaced.
