Dewey is a great person, he dedicatedly took the time to diagnose the problem and help resolve it at a reasonable cost. I would easily recommend him to anyone who has trouble with their heating system. I plan to work with Dewey in the future too.

Installed new thermostat, adjusted to run without need of battery.

We needed to replace a full house attic fan during a heat wave. Dewey explained exactly what we needed and quoted a price and stuck to it. He was prompt and very efficient and did the replacement within a couple of days.

Dewey completed his work and was able to fix the problem we were having. My only issue is with HOME ADVISOR directly. I produced a 15% coupon that was provided to me via email from Laura @ Home Advisor. Unfortunately, Dewey was unaware of the discount and therefore could not honor it. I contracted for $175 less 15% = $148.75 and was billed $225 including an extra $50 in labor. I should have paid $148.75 + $50 = $198.75

Dewey was very easy to work with. He showed up early which was a huge plus for me because I had to go out afterwards. His work was clean and timely. I would definitely recommend him and Amplus Air Systems for Smart Thermostat installation.

Super nice guy and great service, very honest with the service

I hired him to check on the AC of my tenant. He was quick to respond. He went and looked at the issue on the same day. He went ahead and repair the AC without providing me a quote for the repair first. The tenant called me and informed me that the unit was repaired and the bill was 745. I am giving two stars because Dewey never gave me a quote. I spoke to him after the job was done while he was still in the apartment, I asked him to email an invoice and he refused saying that he does not do that. I was able to get a hand written copy of the bill by the tenant via email. He did not provide a break down of the parts and labor. He threatened me to remove the parts and leave if he was not paid on the spot.

My air conditioning was not working so I scheduled a repair with Amplus. I was given a 2-hour window when they would come, but they did not arrive during that window (and did not call or text to say they would be behind schedule). Then, when the repair guy arrived, he just complained about how hard it is to park near me (which he knew in advance and it takes less than 2 hours to find a parking spot). Then, when it came time to fix my unit, he said it was too old, his diagnostics would not work on it and I should replace the whole system anyway. I wanted a second opinion so I hired another contractor who was able to attach his diagnostics and said the issue was just one part in the motor. I was not satisfied with my experience with Amplus.
