Our technicians are licensed Master Electricians and we are bonded professionals and fully insured. One of our main focuses is the sales, service and installation of Generac residential and commercial standby generators. Description of Work: I purchase a special deal through Angie's List and Seidel Electric hung three outside lights and two inside lights. He had to trouble shoot the electricity for the outdoor lights and got them working for us. He was here about 2.5 hours.

Description of Work: There was no power in 4 outlets. He had to investigate why. After several attempts, he found the problem in the refrigerator outlet that was an outlet that actually did have power. A wire was not secured tightly enough around a screw and that started to melt the receptacle. He replaced it and that solved the problem. A very nice man and a job well done!

Description of Work: Dave from Seidel Electric, came on time and was very efficient, neat, and professional in his work. He replaced an old ceiling fan with a new one and repaired a broken under cabinet kitchen light. I would use Seidel Electric in the future.

Description of Work: I purchased a ceiling fan install deal from Seidel electric. After contacting the company I was told they made a mistake with the ad and that price was only for replacing a pre-existing fan and for them to install a new one would cost me $400. I saved copies of the ad and it is very misleading and a lie. There was nothing in the fine print stating the deal was only for replacement fans.

[Member Name Removed], Thank you for your comments.I'm sorry that you found the wording of the Angies list ad confusing. We spoke and communicated via email several times concerning the work you requested. You stated that the area that you wanted the fan installed had no existing fixture, fan or lighting outlet in the ceiling and no subsequent switch outlet to control it.You had an empty ceiling, devoid of any lighting outlet. In order to install the fan that you purchased, I explained that a line would have to be run from some existing branch circuit, a new switch box would have to be installed in a finished sheetrock wall and a new line installed from the switch to the fan rated box that would be cut into the finished sheetrock ceiling. The fan would have to be assembled, installed the light kit attached and the fan balanced.A project like this can take up to 3 or 4 man hours to perform not to mention the material. The price I quoted, sight unseen based on your description was still a bargain and in line with the Angies List pricing policies established. We have done dozens of these "Big Deals" recently employing the same Angies list wording in the ad with no confusion and have many pleased customer testimonials to prove it.

Materials are supposed to be supplied by the customer, but we have stock on our truck in the event that the materials are not present or are incorrect. Description of Work: I called Siedel to ask if they would perform service in a particular town and "Chris" said she would get back to me. After a day, I called again and Chris said she'd get back to me. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Not getting a timely response to a simple question is unprofessional.

Description of Work: They installed a ceiling fan in the bedroom. Unfortunately the fan had issues, so after he put it up, he had to take it back down. This was a fan I had purchased; Seidel had nothing to do with its failures.
