They explained the entire job and listened to our requests, their attitude made this an easy transition. Their pricing was very competitive and fair. I would recommend this contractor to anyone shopping for central air installation.

We had previous experience with another contractor who, after our dealings with JK, didn't have a clue about the intricacies of our Geo Thermal Units. Description of Work: Chris from JK came out to look at our A/C units. We bought the house a year ago and had not had the units serviced. He checked everything, made some adjustments, and replaced our filters. He also made a few recommendations for more efficiency.

+ -1 moreHe sent Travis, a courteous, informative, and very technically competent specialist who arrived right on time. He suggested I watch as he diagnosed the problems with my unit and performed the servicing, which I did. He explained what he was doing and why in each step he conducted. While I won't be taking away any work from him as a masquerading HVAC technician, I certainly learned a lot from him. I give Travis and J.K. HVAC Service an A! They will get all of my future HVAC business and referrals to all of my friends!
Description of Work: I had been having insufficient hot water problems, and a professional plumber told me it was likely because the oil furnace/boiler was in need of a coil cleaning. I had another professional recommend Joe Kassakian of J.K. HVAC Service. I emailed Joe, we had a pleasant email discussion of my problem, and I agreed to let him perform the needed service. In the end the services went beyond just coil cleaning, that was out of necessity not "up-selling." There was the required installation of two shut off valves, the much needed servicing of the unit, and some additional troubleshooting.

+ 0 moreWe have used him many times before. He is an excellent person who knows his business. He is very fair and very honest. It takes about four months for him to bill us. He is so laid back it isn't funny.
Description of Work: We used J K Services Heating & Air Conditioning to fix our hot water heater. He came out and fixed it on a Sunday. He has installed a furnace for us in the past at a very reasonable price.
