Mr Turczak did a completely professional job. He listened to our description of the work we wanted done, came to our home to check out the existing water heater and the other work we described. He provided a quality replacement part, plumbed it in with the appropriate shut-off valves and left the work area totally clean. In addition he took the time to fully explain what he was doing and why in response to our questions.

My wife and I have hired Ivan on three different occasions over the last several months for a variety of projects. He is an extremely professional and respectful service provider who actually answers his own phone every time. He is always there when he says he will be, and his broad based experienced input has provided many extremely beneficial suggestions. Our first experience with Ivan was a replacement of our 25 year old nonfunctioning water softener, with a high quality/capacity, modern, digitally controlled softener. At the same time he supplied and installed the new unit, he redesigned and upgraded the existing drainage system for the water softener, washing machine and laundry tub, for greater safety and efficiency and to bring the system up to and beyond code. His overall quote was a little higher than other Angie?s List providers, but he did a thorough job and ended up even including more improvements than were in his original quote, because he said ?they really needed to be done?. He and his assistant were totally professional and completed the entire job in one day and even threw in an extra supply of salt. The next job Ivan worked on for us involved urgent timing coordination for a combination of installations, including a new kitchen sink and faucet, dishwasher hookup and a refrigerator water supply line. All of this work was done with the utmost attention to detail and respect for maintaining the cleanliness and dignity of our home. The costs for this work was again a little more than other quotes but was done with great consideration and planning, for doing it ?the right way?. Ivan?s most recent project was to install a kitchen backsplash, as the final touches to our newly renovated kitchen. This was done with ?competitive pricing? when compared to other Angie?s list providers. Again, Ivan did a thorough, neat and professional job on replacing badly damaged sheetrock, before installing our selection of a difficult combination of a black marble border, around Grecian white stone tiles. His meticulous and painstaking work resulted in a flawless matching of the border and stone patterns. During his work on the kitchen backsplash, he noticed some irregularities in several of the stone floor tiles that had not been addressed by the other vendors, during the recent kitchen renovation, and he went the extra mile by fixing the offending situation without any additional compensation. Ivan clearly has vast experience and the skills to do almost anything needed in the home. We are only sorry that we didn?t really know him sooner, or we would have had him do our entire kitchen renovation. We will most certainly call on him for future projects around our home, inside and out, and recommend him highly to anyone seeking a greatly skilled, truly professional service provider.

Ivan is great! I called him in a panic when I realized my sewer line was beginning an ominous rise into my basement utility sink. This was a Friday afternoon around 2pm. Ivan was there later that afternoon to assess the problem and my sewer line was again flowing out of the house (not in!) by 10am the next morning. Despite his busy schedule he went out of his way to fit in our emergency and gave us lots of useful advice in maintaining an older home using a septic system. He takes pride in his work and is willing to take the time to educate his clients. A few weeks later when we went into our basement only to discover a puddle and misting pipe Ivan again came through and saved us. He is very professional, calm, and obviously knowledgeable. We have a list of projects for him in the near future :)

Water was heard gushing in the basement around 9 AM in the morning. The main water supply was shut down and our Home Warranty Service provider was called. The gushing was from a cracked sediment filter housing (which the warranty didn't cover, anyway, and the plumber that they suggested was A. unable to get there for 2 days and B. was unlicensed in NJ (he was from PA). A quick look-up on this list and ITP Plumbing popped up. They were called, Ivan responded, the repair was made and the water was flowing again (through the pipes, not out of them) by the time I got home from work. Good job, great prompt service, and thanks!

Ivan was very informative, professional, on time, and flexible. Unfortunately his quote was a bit high this time but I will call him again if any plumbing needs should arise.

No one could be more professional than Ivan. He is keenly observant, careful in his analysis, affable, and does exactly what he says he will do. He also leaves his work space completely clean. I will call him for all future work.

Ivan was the only plumber to answer my call immediately when I noticed the hissing sound behind my family room wall, that I ignored for 3 days, had turned into a gigantic leak into my basement. Before he even opened up the wall, he already guessed what the problem was! I knew I was in good hands then. He had to cut open the wall from the garage side and remove the pipes that were awkwardly situated right up against my family room wall because he didn't want to ruin the inside of our house. It was much much harder to do it through the garage because he had only a 1/4 inch of space between the pipe and my family room wall, he had to cut the pipes out and replace and solder new ones in, but he did it absolutely perfectly. And I really mean perfect. I couldn't even tell where he had cut the wall open in the garage because he made it seamless. Nobody else would care that much, especially for a garage, but he cares about his work and will carry it out flawlessly. And on top of that, he offers a 1 year guarantee on his work!!! I can't recommend Ivan enough, and I wish all contractors were like him. I will only use Ivan in the future. He was on time, was easy to communicate with, and does beautiful work. I can't say enough good things about Ivan. He ALWAYS answers his calls. He came to fix my daughter's frozen outside pipes on the coldest day of the year!!!! That is when he was most needed. When he arrived, he found that he didn't have the proper fitting for one of the pipes. He could have played with parts to "make do", but he is too professional for that. He called around to find that specific part and drove out to get it so that he could finish the job that day. On top of all of this, he gave my daughter a discount because I, (not she), found him on Angie's list! When you find a plumber who is talented, professional, reliable, available, reasonable, and a helluva nice guy, you don't lose his phone number! By the way, he is about an hour away. The local plumbers couldn't be bothered.

Ivan is one of the most professional contractors I have ever met - he has integrity and pride in his work. We are selling our house and had some items to fix based on the inspection report. We had a new hot water heater installed by another company that unfortunately was never permitted and inspected and was not up to code. We also had a garbage disposal supposedly "fixed" by the same company that was not working. I called Ivan and he came the next day to look and give me an estimate. He knew exactly what needed to be done and agreed to do the work on the weekend, even though he was very busy. He was at the house right on time (even a little early) and fixed everything. Always put down drop cloths wherever he walked. I scheduled the inspection and he insisted on being there in case the inspector had any problems - he effectively gave up his whole day to be available to make sure everything passed inspection. While we were waiting for the inspection, I asked him if he would install a CO detector and Fire extinguisher, which he did for no charge. He knows his stuff, is professional and has the utmost integrity about what he does - he is also a general contractor and I would recommend him to anyone.

Ivan has been absolutely amazing. He has helped us with multiple projects and comes up with creative solutions. We are so grateful we found him!

Arrived on time, spent 6 hours plumbing the waterlines and installing water softener. Did a beautiful job. Very neat and after checking the internet for average prices for the job-was reasonable.

We're just about complete and every part of the job has gone perfectly. The proposal provided was honored, job start time and finish time was as quoted. Day to day clean up of the work area was immaculate.

Ivan was thoroughly professional in every way. He was punctual, responsive, and courteous. His work was meticulous. He left his work area cleaner than he found it! We were thrilled with his services. He is a real find.

It went beyond the call of duty. He gave me an additional pipe wrap sleeve at no additional cost and using his handyman knowledge split a board to make a backing for the drywall to be put back so no gaping whole was left where the work was done. He supplied me with a new 1/2 inch stop and waste ball valve outside in front of our house along with a hose bib in compliance with the most recent requirements. He has a knack for great workmanship along with a caring and friendly disposition. Treats you like his neighbor next door. In my opinion, his work is top notch, shows integrity and is the kind you don't see too often any more. He said he was booked with projects through March of 2014 and could understand why after witnessing his workmanship. Will definitely be using him in the future for some harder projects than the usual as he demonstrated he was equal to the task.

He did a great job. He is very neat. He put drop cloths down before he worked and vacuumed before he left. He hauled everything away as well and didn't leave any junk. I am very pleased with service and I think his price is reasonable as well. I am looking forward to using him in the future for some upcoming as well.
