Accurate Floor Care

Tony from Accurate Floor Care showed up to give us the estimate. The price we paid was for paying cash. He said they would put tape and plastic up to prevent the saw dust from getting everywhere. It took a total of 3 different days to complete the job. While the floor looked good when he was done, there were several problems that we encountered. The tape off job was sloppy and saw dust got all over everything - windows, screens, walls, appliances, etc.. It was quie a mess. Long drapes were tied up in knots and left that way. Since we could not step on the floor for a couple of days, the drapes wrinkled badly. For some reason, a blind was opened all the way and left on the floor. The door stops were broken off in the wall. The chandelier was left taped up and left that way for us we to untape it. Their vacuum cleaner was vented through an open window which got saw dust on the screens, the outside of the window and window sills. I caught one employee in the garage by my husbands workbench TWICE! He said we took his stick. He didn't speak English too well and kept saying I took his stick. I kept telling him I did not take his stick. I called Tony who was not on site this day and he explained that it was a long stick like a broom handle but longer. His employee's first visit to my husbands workbench would have shown him that this long stick was not laying there. All work was being done upstairs which was mostly empty. There was no reason for this employee to come downstairs and go out in the garage and close the door behind him. I had to yell at him to make him stay upstairs (which was themain floor and exited to the outside since the home was a raised ranch). Tony apologized for his employees behavior. I had an organ moved in to the kitchen. The music stand that sat on top ot the organ ( which was a part of the organ and made of wood) was removed by them and thrown out with the rest of their trash. By the time I realized it was gone, it was too late. I was selling the organ and had to take less because the buyer knew the music stand was there and now it wasn't. So while the end job on the floor was nice, it was not worth the problems I had with these people. I would not recommend them.

They did okay but the second time they came out to refinish my other floors there was a little problem. I called him and he said he would come back and fix it; I called him two times, but he never came back.

The floors came out beautifully! The floors were in pretty bad shape to start with and they came out looking excellent. He was punctual and easy to get a hold of. His time frame to do the work was very accommodating to my needs.
