Description of Work: Moving from 2nd story apt to two houses.

Description of Work: Movers were so friendly. Broke 2 pieces of furniture. Didn't take off for 5% Angie member, over charged on time & came back to remove empty boxes for me & took about 5 boxes & charged me another few hundred dollars.

Description of Work: The owner was very professional there was a misunderstanding with his workers about the pricing we had a issue and the owner Jose was awesome totally professional handling the situation and was on the customer service side he stuck up for the customer so I will definitely use his service again in late November and his company South Jersey moving. Thank you Jose

Description of Work: Local move - 8 miles. They provided a fair estimate. Crew showed up as scheduled. They took excellent care wrapping the furniture. Only one item ended up with a ding, and they made good on adjusting the bill as per the contract. Final cost was as expected. The crew was very professional. I would use them again.

Description of Work: Well my appt was at 12 noon and they showed up at 330-345 based on the fact that they were "at lunch" as per the man on the phone number provided in which he also stated that was completely reasonable. It is completely reasonable to eat lunch but it's also common courtesy for appointments to be kept at the time given and if couldn't be kept to render a phone call to explain why and at that point as a customer I can decide if was completely reasonable for me to wait. | |I had 5 of my friends helping me in their own cars that were loaded to the gills and when the crew showed up my friends helped load the truck. Now upon arrival I was pleased to see very respectful and energetic crew members in which one of them is the actual contract spokesman that gives you the paperwork to sign stating your contract time and if the actual time exceeds the contract time then additional costs somewhere around $100 per hour will be attached. | |Well guess what, you got the wrong one today. I just worked a full shift 8 hours from midnight, waited for you to arrive over 3 hours late and now I'm threatened with overtime pay. ? No no boo boo not today. That's why I had my friends there to help supervise the situation. | |My entire apt was packed up and all the boxes in one room. The only thing that needed to be done was that my four poster bed needed to be broken down. One crew member worked on that as the others moved the rest. | |Well at one point my friends and I were talking in my old kitchen and after about 10 minutes we noticed zero activity going back and forth with crew members. I went outside and they were all chilling in my dining room chairs in the parking lot smoking cigarettes. People.. I'm a postal worker, so it took me extra energy to contain my frustration. I kindly went inside and grabbed the heaviest item and like superman dragged it outside as to show them that break time was over. They got right up lol. | |Oky now we are all packed up and it's now time to travel to the new house in Sicklerville from Blackwood exactly 15 minutes away if you take back roads and not try to take route 42 and battle shore traffic. | |Most of my friends and myself ended up at the new place before the truck and began to unload. Well my phone rings and it's the friend that wasn't there yet that followed the truck. She tells me that they stopped at Wawa.. Ohhhh so you make me sign some ole contract stating with overtime your digging further into my pocket and it was completely reasonable to be almost 4 hours late from the beginning but now after 90 minutes of moving boxes with the help of me and my 5 friends and a cigarette break with my dining room chairs you now need an additional Wawa break that I would have never known about had my friend not followed the truck. | |I called the number and told the guy to tell his crew that I'm well aware of them stopping at the store and that I better not get charged any overtime. He agreed and told me that if I had any problems just to simply call him back. | |Truck arrived and they had a little over an hour to unload and set up my bed. All I needed for them to do is to place the boxes in the appropriate room which they did. The beds were set up in no time and within 45 minutes the unload was complete. | |The contract crew member tried to say that we made it just in time and with 12 minutes left. Ummmm no... Wawa was a good 25 min and I had well over 30 min left. But it's all good. Besides the nuttery the guys were really nice and we had a good time with them. | |In the future I definitely would use them again. Same scenario though, I will have to make sure I have my friends with me to help supervise again. I highly recommend South Jersey moving. It was easy as pie to set up the appt and with some minor fixes on their end can be a stress free experience for all.

Description of Work: Moved a free standing, wood bar from a friend's home to our home.

Description of Work: South Jersey Moving provided the services of an estimate for moving, to packing the truck, holding the house goods for 48 hours, delivering the goods to the new location, and unpacking the trucking / loading up the new house. All this was done professionally, on time, and just below the estimated total budget amount. South Jersey Moving was great. I would highly recommend them!
