Jason and his team did amazing work. The scope of the project was very difficult as the job was built into a mountain with a lot of rock, making the build very challenging and sometimes dangerous. Jason was a pleasure to work with from start to finish - punctual, patient, honest, reliable and professional. He completed 2 patios, all the walls around the pool and the raised beam stone wall above the pool. His workers were equally as pleasant to work with and the quality of the job is top notch. I would recommend Jason without reservation to anyone seeking masonry work.

Before I go into any detail I just want to say if you are looking for a mason, don't look any further - JW Stonework and Masonry is AWESOME!!! I hired a landscaping company last year (before JW Stonework and Masonry) to install a bluestone patio and walkway as a 10th year anniversary to my wife, wile we were away on a weekend getaway the work was being done. We came home to a horrible surprise. We got taken advantage by a crooked contractor but could not afford to get the work fixed till this year. I looked far and wide and nobody met the level of professionalism, value and responsiveness as Jason Bennett! (no exaggeration) From the moment Jason came, he went through the project with me in a professional manner. Told me about his work experience and what he would bring in terms of quality to do the job. For those that don't know, natural bluestone is one fo the hardest materials to work with because no two blocks are alike in size or depth, it requires a real pro to do it right. With all the stress my wife and I were under with the previous contractor, it was hard to trust anyone. Thankfully we trusted Jason and got the most amazing work done! He was awesome from start to finish, came exactly when he said he would and stuck to his word. Thank you Jason, definitely would hire again and recommend to everyone I know!

WOW! If you are looking for stonework of the highest quality this is the company to go with - AND at a price comparable to interlocking blocks. I had initial skeptism, since Jason is only in his mid-30's - I was initially thinking that the only type of mason who could deliver the quality I was looking for would be some old italian or portuguise guy, but Jason has been doing masonry work for over 15 years. He actually brought in stone from Connecticut and hand-cut each piece of stone to build the wall, outdoor fireplace, and steps. He subcontracted the excavation, but other than that performed all stonework himself with the help of his two brothers. The price I received was only a few thousand dollars (10-15%) more than other contractors who wanted to build me a wall made of interlocking blocks. If you like real stone walls then look no further. Jason was also timely and honest. The project scope changed as we began construction and since he had quoted it based on square footage of the final product, it was easy to calculate the additional cost - which was very reasonable. He will be coming back in the spring to put the patio in for me.
