All work was completed in one day and the crew cleaned up all work areas. Generally, I am happy with the work done, however, it was a little sloppy in some places, running over the grout lines.

The first day he dug up the floor and laid some cement work and asked for money for the work done. My husband gave him $500 out if his total bill of $900. He did not know how to do the mouth of the drain so my husband had to call a plumber urgently to do that work and had to pay the plumber separately for that. He came back few days later to fix the tiles. He has done a horrible job - the tiles are jagged and up and down and hurt you in your feet. Not only that, but the spout of the drain is at a higher level than the tiles with the result that the water collects all around and does not go into the spout. When he was laying the tiles my husband told him that this does not look correct but he said that it would work. We were dismayed and saddened. He told us he would come back to fix it and we have called him several times but he has not returned our calls. We lost the money we paid him plus the $300 that we paid for the tiles. Very sad. Please do not be cheated by this man as we were. If you read other reviews for him on Yelp, Yahoo and Better Budiness Bureau you will find similar complaints. It seems he goes to home shows to pick up customers there by talking confidently and then does poor work. I wish I had done better due diligence before we hired him for the job. Also wish that I could do something to forfeit his license because this man really does not know what he is doing and will make many others suffer the consequences of his disastrous work as we have suffered. If he reads this review I would like him very much to explain his action and atleast return our money. I guess that is wishful thinking on my part. Good luck with your project.

They called the day before the scheduled date to remind me, and then called about an hour before they arrived the following day. It only took a couple of hours to complete. They were very professional and cleaned up after completion. Prior to the regrouting there were no leaks, so I evidentially did not need any retiling or plumbing repairs. The grout was previously black in many spots, and I could not clean it, although I tried heavy duty cleaners with bleach. I had two well known bath remodelers tell me that I needed to replace all the tile, and it would cost about $6000.00 for the total job. The regrouted shower now appears new. Grout King sealed the grout to minimize the return of stains. I am very satisfied with their work, and they saved me the unnecessary cost of costly remodeling.

Tiles and walls were uneven when they finished. If this company is ONLY re-grouting they would be fine but not for any removal and replacement of tile work.

It went well overall- it was a good way to prolong the life of fixtures that just needed some cleaning up.

Grout King came out to my home and gave a very through explanation of what needed to be done and how it would be best accomplished. At the time of the estimate, he had grout samples to apply so that I could match the grout to the rest of the room. Also, as he was running about 10 minutes late for the appointment (they were paving the road here) - he had called to let me know - very considerate. I was pleased with his assessment - he spoke honestly that he didn't think the sagging tile would come out perfectly aligned - it would depend on if the backing was damaged. Okay, that made sense. He was not a saleman, but the actual installer. There was no pressure to make a decision and he took time to answer all my questions. I agreed to have him return in 2 weeks to undertake the job. He called the day before to reconfirm and also remind me of the do's and don'ts (do use it before he comes - don't use it after to allow the grout to cure...). He arrived on time yesterday morning. It took almost 4 hours to complete. The grout looks great - and the shower looks like it is brand new. The questionable tiles were in place and perfectly aligned. He also grouted the adjacent bathtub corners that had loosened grout. While he was working in the shower, he noticed a tile outside the shower, on a corner that was loose and went ahead and glued that as well. He left the work area spotless. I really appreciated having an honest, straight-forward and meticulous professional. The only thing he left behind was a flawless job!

They were punctual and professional. They called before they came and did a good job. They also gave me some good ideas, though they failed to follow up. I still referred their services to a friend. They followed up initially with an email, with her and later when things processed, they got back to her via a phone call. I do not wish to use their services in future.
