Description of Work: We had fairly significant dog urine stains on a light colored 8x12 area rug. I called Bedrosian, explained the situation, and was told that they "can't promise anything," but would do their best. Got the rug back, and I would say the improvement was 98%. If you look closely, you can still see some yellow in a few spots. But you have to look VERY closely. We're very pleased with the outcome. The Bedrosian people came when they said they would and handled everything professionally. I was also impressed by the woman I originally spoke to, who explained everything thoroughly and was very pleasant. You can get a rug cleaned for less money (hence the "B") but I doubt anyone would give you better or even comparable results.

Description of Work: Excellent job. I have a basement wall-to-wall rug. I had tried cleaning myself using both a rented machine and a carpet shampooing machine - neither came close to the job Bedrosian did. I was quite surprised how good it looked after they were done. My only complaint was that the side door was left open when the worker when in and out and I was afraid my cat got out (false alarm)

Description of Work: Picked up, cleaned and returned my 9x12 area rug. Returned wrapped in plastic. Overall good experience. They were very accommodating when I had to change the date of rug return. They had no problem holding it for another week.

Description of Work: My mother gave me her antique Oriental rug and I called Bedrosian to come by and take a look. They were prompt in picking it up (it hadn't been unrolled from when I packed it up at my mother's place). I grew up with this rug, which is about 50-60 years old, had some stains, and was in need of cleaning. Bedrosian called me and said it was a "beautiful" rug, worth a lot of money (I forget the amount he said it was worth, but I was very happy that I now had a very nice old rug). I said please clean it and he said that when they were through with it, "you won't recognize it" and "the colors will be much brighter." This I could believe. He then said that a rug like this should have other things done to it, such as new fringe, padding and other special (expensive) treatments. He seemed incredulous when I resisted the upsell and said all I wanted was a shampoo. The rug came back late, as I recall, though my husband says they did an excellent job of laying it down under our dining room table. Later, when I had a chance to see it for myself, I felt (and my husband agreed) that the rug looked like it hadn't even been cleaned. The same stains were there, and the ivory background was still the same dull color it was before I spent the crazy amount of money. I didn't complain because I figured I was being "punished" for not agreeing to spend much more. Very, very disappointing. The only bright side is that the rug is under our dining room table. It warms up the room, and if someone spills gravy on it I'll just laugh! But buyer beware...

Description of Work: I contacted Bedrosian's and spoke with John. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He recommended that I bring the rug to the store for evaulation. After inspecting the rule, he determined that they would not be able to clean it to a satisfactory level and that the rug was too damaged. I appreciated his honesty and his assessment.
