Eric answered the phone by the 2nd ring. We agreed on a time the same day. He called to alert me he was on the way, and arrived on time. Gave me a quote and finished everything in under 30 minutes. An excellent experience.

Eric was great to work with. He came out the same day. He went through all the pricing on the phone, and it the final bill was right where he said it would be. He was also very nice to talk to.

Eric replaced a broken overhead garage door opener that had been installed over 30 years ago. He was very professional and made a recommendation to also install a cable which would prevent the garage door from coming down on my car if the main cable snapped. The additional cost was nominal and took a few minutes. We are very pleased with the quality of the installation.

I had a broken torsion spring on my garage door. Eric gave me a price range over the phone before coming out. He came first thing the next morning to take measurements, called me 30 minutes later to notify me that he was able to get the part and a time that he could come back out later that day to install it. He was professional, courteous, and prompt. I would highly recommend him. He also took the time to answer my questions about the work he was performing and other general questions I had about my garage door. He also oiled parts on my door so that it opens very smoothly and quietly. I don't know if other companies do this generally, but this added service was a nice touch.

Wonderfully. The gentleman was polite and helpful. He replaced the broken parts, inspected our other door and said it was fine (which is so unusual, usually a repair person will find something else wrong!). My husband had him replace the mechanism on the other door anyway. Very pleased with them.

Eric was wonderful. He returned my call quickly, made arrangements to come to my house the next day. Called me shortly before the time we agreed on to let me know he was on his way. From start to finish it was just about an hour. He was so personable, professional, and knowledgeable.

Eric showed up on time and gave me a very fair price before starting the work. The job took him about an hour. He replaced both cables, both springs (the spring also had broken), and all the pulleys as they were old. His invoice was as he initially quoted. He also showed me how to change the keypad combination for the automatic door opener. I highly recommend this company.

The perfect nightmare for someone who works and has a garage door opener - pushed the button and the door began to rise then the cable snapped with my car inside the garage. And also in the way so the my husband could not use the manual opener. I immediately went to Angie's List and found Eric. He came over immediately on his way to another scheduled job. He took measurements of the parts needed and retuned later in the afternoon to make the repairs. He also helped my husband manually open the garage door freeing my car. Super nice, professional, accommodating and he has 24/7 emergency service!

Eric was great. He was very accommodating in setting up an appointment time that was convenient for our schedule. I explained our issue over the phone and he quoted me an estimate of $75. He arrived on time, finished the work within minutes and also provided us with an additional remote. We were very pleased with his work and would absolutely call him again.

The service was very prompt and the price was reasonable. The installer was running late and called me to inform me that hew would be late. Very professional and reliable.

I have a detached garage without electrical service and a simple four-panel steel garage door. Several months ago one of the garage door springs broke. I attempted to replace the spring, but ran into some issues with the operation of the door (I could not get it level and the whole thing wasn?t square with the opening). Other than the obvious broken spring and some minor cosmetic damage (dents, rust, etc.), the lock on the garage door was non-functional (and the key long lost). I called All-American Overhead Garage Doors after finding them on Angie?s List and spoke with the owner/installer, Eric. (I should mention that I did not call any other contractors for this job, and that I limited my search to nearby contractors.) We made an appointment to meet, and he arrived on-time the next day (12/12/2014). Eric was friendly, punctual and professional. I provided him with a brief history of the problem, and he assessed the situation. Eric found the radius of the existing garage door track to be undersized. As a result, the bottom of the door would never properly clear the header of the opening, and the door would be unnecessarily difficult to operate (less smooth). Eric provided me with an estimate to replace the tracks (using a larger radius at the header) and install a new door with springs, a lock bar and vinyl weather stripping trim around the opening. He was professional and his price was fair, so we tentatively scheduled the work (he mentioned that his schedule was full and that he may not have time to do this before Christmas, which was fine with me since this wasn?t an emergent repair). Eric called me several days later (12/16/2014) to schedule the work (to be done earlier than expected on the 19th). On the day of the installation (12/19/2014) Eric arrived on-time and, as expected, conducted himself professionally. He removed the old door and installed the new one in a timely fashion, leaving the area clean and ready for use. The new door is remarkably smoother than the old one and sits above the garage door header (he was right about the radius of the track). In summary, Eric (All-American Overhead Garage Doors) was professional and responsive, assessed the problem, and installed a quality product in a reasonable amount of time. I would highly recommend him for garage door installation and repair.

Eric was able to detect the problem and make the repair in an efficient manner. The problem was the opener is almost 20 years and the gears were getting worn down when it was engaging with the chain attached to the opener. The opener was able to be rebuilt because of All American Overhead's ability and experience to provide a low cost solution to a well used opener.

He did a really fine job. He did it very well. He was very efficient. He knew what he was doing. He managed to get the doors working efficiently. He really knows his work. I will recommend him.

Eric, came out the house and measured the doors and gave me a very competitive price. He was able to beat a prices that I had got from Home Depot and it was for a higher quality door. The installation was done about a week later and he was on time and informative on what the process would be and how long the installation would take. He left the site very clean and took the old doors with him for disposal. Eric seemed to have a great deal of experience and was very friendly and he answered all of my questions.

New system is QUIETER, SMOOTHER, FASTER and SAFER. A perfect job. Other jobs he has done for me over the years have also been perfect. I have always been completely satisfied with his work in all aspects.
