Description of Work: We have been using CD Sealcoating for a number of years now. Chris is always super-responsive and easy to work with. We have hired other sealcoating companies in the past and their service was good, but CD Sealcoating is stellar. Chris spreads the sealer by hand instead of using a sprayer, and we have found that it covers better and lasts longer. He is extremely careful and thorough. Plus he is very fairly priced. We will continue to use CD Sealcoating every time we get our driveway resealed!

The job went well and the neighbor admired what a fantastic, neat job he was doing and hired him on the spot for his house and business. + -1 moreGreat job. We called Chris after our daughter recommended him. Our original sealcoating company was no longer in business (owner passed away). His quote was VERY competitive and since we already had great word of mouth recommendation, we had him do the job. Very happy with the work. It was done within a few days of calling him to confirm that we wanted him to do the job. He also did a very nice job of extending the seal coating to the edges of our raised pavers -- there had been a gap between the pavers edging the driveway and the driveway/asphalt. Leaves and debris would constantly accumulate there. No one ever mentioned a and quot;fixand quot; for this to us, but Chris did and suggested that if we cleaned it out the night before, he'd take care of the rest. Well, now I no longer have mini and quot;dirt ditchesand quot; running down both sides of my driveway along the pavers! Will certainly be using him in the future.

+ -1 moreChris was incredibly responsive --called back within hours AND happened to be in my neighborhood so he was able to give me an estimate the same day. I was impressed by his professionalism and responsiveness. We've had the driveway done before and I had a good idea of what the cost would be. I think his prices are just fine. I did not even bother getting another estimate. He came out at the end of the week, at the time he said he would be here. Did his work without bothering us and completed it within 4 hours. We were VERY pleased with the job. No splatters or messes anywhere. Many of the cracks we thought needed more work, he was able to address that day. Put up a sign and roped off the ends of the driveway so that no one would enter and ruin the great job he did. Provided answers to all our questions. I immediately referred him to a close relative and we will absolutely be using his services for our next seal coating job. We are very glad we found him!

+ -1 moreAs above, very happy with job. He was on time for estimate and to perform the actual work. Pleasant to talk to and efficient worker (owner actually did the work himself as his crew was up doing a big parking lot job somewhere). Arrived around 8:30 and completed job around 1:30, I think my in-laws said. Would definitely use again.
Description of Work: We have an enormous amount of asphalt, with a large horseshoe driveway and a parking area to the side of our driveway, so don't let the price we paid alarm you--the square footage from the estimates ranged from 7,000 something to over 9,000. We had three quotes for this job, and C.D. was not only the least expensive by $300, but also the company we felt the most comfortable with. I got his quote first, and thought it seemed high, which was unfortunate because I felt he was very professional and upfront with information about the products we should/shouldn't use...then I got the other two quotes! We had our driveway sealcoated, cracks filled and three spiderweb cracked areas patched. They use a hot sealant, applied by brush vs. a spray application (which is what had been last done on our driveway under previous ownership, many moons ago). I had a last-minute conflict so I couldn't be here for the majority of the process, so my in-laws were here watching our son while it was done. The only slight "ding" I would give the actual quality of the work is that I would have liked the patching material over the spiderweb cracked areas to have been troweled out more smoothly. Perhaps it will lay down a bit over time, but right now there's texture to those areas where the patching material was applied. Not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable. Overall, the driveway looks great...like a black board...excellent substrate for chalk drawing! He did an excellent job in working clean...there was no sealant overlapping onto our cement garage entryway, or on the foundation or brickwork where the parking pad butts up against.

The price was completely reasonable, and on top of it he applies the sealcoating with a brush, not a sprayer. I think this is definitely the best way to do it as we have had issue in the past with the spray sealcoating wearing away too soon. The job was done on time and was completely hassle-free. Highly recommend this contractor.
