Description of Work: Excellent all the way around. Mike was very professional and addressed every question I had promptly. The work was done very efficiently and effectively. The crew cleaned up very well after the work was done; the house and yard were actually cleaner than they were before they started. | |I inspected the flashing everywhere that they installed it and it looks first rate. Prior to installation, the flashing on my chimney was causing water to leak into my attic and causing the ceiling to be wet. After the major rains we had on 5/30/2015, the ceiling in my attic was completely dry. | |In choosing a contractor for any project, you really can't be careful enough. Front start to finish Mike and his crew made me feel confident that the job would be done right. I do have to mention that the price was really was great!

Description of Work: Mike and his crew did an awesome job. They replaced my garage and house roof, and also installed new shutters (10) in all. They did an excellent job on everything. Mike always returned emails or phone calls promptly when I had questions before and after they completed their work. I would recommend this roofing / siding contractor to everyone. Their price was also very fair and they used quality material.

 + -1 moreNot a single complaint! Mr. Derosa was prompt for estimate, very professional, no hard sell. Explained the steps and time needed, answered all questions. Showed up on time with crew and they were all very professional. Job was done as promised. We got what we wanted! The crew cleaned area completely each day and left the yard cleaner than they found it. I would have no hesitation about using, or recommending, Mike Derosa and American Roofing LLC.
Description of Work: Complete tear off of slate roof on large house and garage. Laid 100 plus sheets of 5/8 exterior grade plywood before putting GAF Grand Slate shingles on. Several heavy rain/wind storms later and the house is perfectly dry and comfortable.

 + -1 moreEvery aspect of the job from estimate to clean-up was handled perfectly. The estimate was the lowest of four companies and the job was completed carefully and on time. The American Roofing crew showed up on time, on the day that they were scheduled, performed the work quickly and carefully and cleaned up so carefully that it was very hard to believe that they had ever been there. The company owner was very helpful and very easy to work with.
Description of Work: Replace sloped roof on cottage, remove existing layers of shingles down to rafters, install new plywood over rafters, install metal roof edge, ice and water shield, felt paper, GAF shingles, ridge cap, all materials included. Replace low slope roof on garage.

 + -1 moreMy call for estimate was responded to within the first day or two. Price was GREAT compared to three other companies. Owner, Mike returned my call to answer a few additional questions. Scheduled date in a reasonable time frame. Workers showed up at 8 am on day of job with a foreman/project mgr, draped the house and began the work. The work was good quality. Some plywood sheets were replaced as needed and the job took 1/2 day.Mike stopped by two times during the process to check on the work. They cleaned the whole area very well. Mike phoned a few weeks later (after the first major rainfall) to ensure we were dry. I would highly recommend this company.

 + 0 moreWe called several times to get an estimate on having a new roof installed and never got a return phone call. We called again about a year later to get a quote on gutters. Someone did answer the phone for the first time and scheduled an appointment with us for an estimate. That person never showed up. We left a message asking for someone to return our phone calls. It's been weeks now and no one has even returned our call, AGAIN.
