American Quality Roofing and Siding

Great job

On Day 1 after tearing off 70% of the roof, clouds started to move in, the crew quickly made a haphazard attempt to cover the exposed roof. After doing so, I spoke to the crew leader to assess their plan. They were moving on to another job. I asked why they couldn't wait for 10 minutes for the shower to subside and showed them a radar forecast that called for no rain in the area until 10 PM to no avail. They left the premises a mess. Loose shingles on the roof, nailed scattered everywhere and the tarp on the roof was flapping in the wind and those loose shingles were flying in the wind. I called the American Quality to inform them of the situation. A couple of hours later I called again to inquire about the status. They finally sent the original crew back at approximately 5 PM. They quickly cleaned up. I asked them to secure the tarp on the roof then they left. Later that night, the roof was leaking into the house. Although American Quality sent someone to assess and rectify the situation, it was too little too late. I personally had to place a tarp in the attic to limit the potential damage. After the roof replacement was completed, I had to call in again because of their lack of attention to the little details.

When I met with Christian, the company owner, I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and strong work ethic. I explained that I wanted to get my 1929 clapboard-sided unattached garage vinyl-sided. Christian took the time to explain the process involved and helped me select the color that best matched my house. Christian provided me with a verbal estimate on the spot and quickly followed-up with one in writing. He had the best price out of the three contractors I had contacted. And he was able to schedule the work to begin the very next day. I could not be happier with the results! He is also a great communicator and very polite and respectful. His crew showed up on time, completed the job in one day, and did a great job!

Overall excellent experience. Would be confident recommending them to others. Work was done professionally within the estimated time. Cleanup was completely done.

Responded quickly to all my inquiries, detailed estimate and warranty. Explained everything in detail, not just brief overview of what would be done as the other four estimates I got. It was a big job ripping everything to the beams, added plywood and GAF shingles and gutters. Repaired anything that may have been damaged by accident.

We recently hired American Quality Home Improvement to re-side our house which was built in 1985 and had its original vertical cedar wood siding. There were several features that separated American Quality Home Improvements from the other contractors that we received bids from that included a lifetime guarantee on workmanship, special capping features on the windows and doors, attention to detail and the accommodation of some special requests. Christian stayed close to us during the project and was quick to answer any concerns that we had. We are extremely happy with the result and have gotten several complements from our neighbors.

Christian was a great project manager. Great communication and visited the job site daily. The roof crew, window crew, siding crew and gutter crew were all polite and professional. Very organized and cleaned up daily. Worked above and beyond expectations! Completed job on time and on budget. Wonderful experience.

Christian was great explaining every detail of the project, the time frame, and how the job would be organized and completed. Everything was done and completed according to schedule. The men doing the actual installation were organized, respectful of the owners and their property and worked extremely hard. The project was completed in the time projected with a thorough cleanup being done. The customer service was above and beyond anything we have ever experienced. I would highly recommend them to anyone and would not hesitate to hire them again. We've owned our home for 45 years and this is one of the best home improvement projects we've experienced.

Christian was great. He explained everything about the project to the last detail and offered me different options with the type of siding. He also advised us if the workers can't make it for the day due to weather-related or other issues. The workers, Jose, Jose and Walter were very polite and did a very good job installing the siding and did some little extras I asked them to do like installing security lights, etc. They were a joy to work with.

The workers were on site continuously until the job was completed. Craftmanship and skill levels were at the highest. Of particular note, they were creative enough to accommodate me with regard to certain specific modifications I requested. No additional charges were incurred. Management was very proactive in communicating with me to insure that I was fully satisfied as the job moved forward. I would not hesitate in using this company for future projects.

Christian was excellent to work with. His workers did a great job making our home look beautiful. Christian worked well with our contractor. Timing was key since we had to remove asbestos prior to building an addition. We had asbestos siding removed and then James Hardie siding put on. Our home looks beautiful. I highly recommend using AQHI.

Christian hasn't started on the work yet, BUT, so far everything has been GREAT!!!! Christian is VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND, EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!!!! Work is scheduled to start 9/27 or 9/28. CAN'T WAIT!!!! Will send another review when work is completed!!!

Chris and his crew did a excellent job. They were very accommodating with all the issues that we found and addressed them promptly. Chris got his crew certified since the product i choose is a new product and required a specific way to be installed so that the warranty will not be void; he did that at no extra cost to me. excellent work all around.
