Better than expected. With every home project one can run into unexpected surprises as did we with this one. Antonio was quick to explain the situation and present an alternate plan to overcome the obstacle. His team worked hard under less than favorable weather and delivered a quality job. Water is a home's biggest enemy, but I know that my basement will be dry for the next 130 years. I would warmly recommend Antonio Debenedetto for any hardscaping job.

Antonio had been extremely professional with us - from gathering an estimate to performing the job, we always received a response from him and his staff within 24 hours whether through call, text or email. Throughout the duration of the job, Antonio had stopped by to make sure the project was going smoothly and even made a final visit after the job was done to ensure we were satisfied. We are definitely using this company again for our driveway and front porch after the winter season.

It went really great! This is first house and we had heard a lot of stories about contractors taking forever to do the work but Antonio and his team were the opposite. They did everything very promptly and always consulted with us when any significant questions came up before they moved ahead. The foundation work they did was the most extensive. They used earth moving equipment to dig everything out and then did extensive mortar work. They then protected the mortar work with a coating of rubber that adheres to the foundation and another layer of thick black sheeting. Very thorough. They also dug a big trench around the base of the foundation and installed a buried drainage system that captures any water near the foundation and diverts it away from the house and out into the back yard. But that's not all by a long shot. Right when the renovations were being completed we had a really bad flooding incident unrelated to the work Antonio was doing. There was major damage done to the living room and kitchen. It was heartbreaking. Luckily, our insurance covered it. We were so grateful when he immediately pulled his crew from other jobs to get the water immediately pumped out and all the demolition done before any mold could set in. It was only two weeks before we were supposed to move in and Antonio made sure all the repairs were done in time. That included drying out everything, replacing sheetrock, damaged cabinets electrical repairs etc. He was AMAZING!!! Thanks so much Antonio!!! We have plans to use Antonio again in the future for a list of projects and we wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone who needs a contractor.

Excellent job all around from start to finish. After calling and setting an appointment Antonio came and gave me an estimate. They started and ended the work when he said they would and left everything spotless. Craftsmanship is excellent. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone.

The construction went like clockwork. All of the workers were very professional and knew their craft. Antonio was always available for any questions we had. We would not hesitate to hire Antonio again.

High quality work, again. After Antonio and his people did a better than great job of our sidewalk, walkway and step replacement last year, we didn't hesitate to hire him for our driveway. The pitching of the driveway surface away from the house and away from the detached garage were done very well. Hiring Antonio twice now has meant peace of mind. He's highly recommended.

Antonio gave us a great price for the sump and I would give him these high marks for the job he did just for that. But there's more to the story. He had recommended a french drain, but we decided not to do that. Unfortunately, the basement started leaking in the spot he recommended the french drain. This when we had multiple showings scheduled the next day. We called Antonio at 8 that night. He was in there with his crew the next morning and sorted everything out same day, pushing off a less urgent client to get the job done. Problem solved. Outstanding service and great quality of the job. Hire Antonio, and listen to what he recommends! PS: Did I mention he repaired a small chunk of masonry damaged by plumbers in a previous job? Gratis!

A Debenedetto Construction are old-school master craftsmen. They did a beautiful job and I could not be happier.

I had a major sewage line break under my driveway. Almost my entire 65' + driveway had to be opened up. I had a hard time finding someone late in the season to pave my driveway, I feared I would be stuck until next year., then I met Antonio. He was professional, knowledgable and DeBenedetto Construction did a beautiful job replacing my driveway. I met Antonio on a Friday and his crew started working the following Monday morning. I was so impressed with how quickly they prepped the driveway for paving that I had them put in a paver patio before the blacktop even arrived. Antonio and his guys are wonderful, I'm looking forward to the Spring because I have a few projects just waiting them.

We needed to have the front porch of the house and walkway replaced. After meeting with several contractors, we decided to go with A. Debenedetto Construction. Antonio Benedetto provided the most comprehensive quote and had many recommendations that added much needed curb appeal that fit into our budget. Overall it went extremely well. Antonio is extremely responsive and genuinely takes an interest in making your project successful. You can tell he really cares about his clients. His team is very flexible, clean and professional. I had this group working at my house over a month they never let us down. Naturally, like most significant construction projects. We were slightly over budget from the original estimate, however there were a few unforeseen issues which weren't within the original scope. Antonio takes the time to explain your options and provides very valuable insight to address the issues for the long-term. In my experience, many contractors lack this genuine honesty and may cut corners to meet price points. They might not be the least expensive option, but the quality of the work is top notch. As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for. In my experience, this company is a sure thing and if you're building something that needs to be done right. You absolutely can't go wrong with this company. Moreover, my house received incredible amounts of compliments for it's look and design. We're very happy we chose Debenedetto Construction and would again for future projects.

Went well, work was done in one day and the crew was professional and very good about cleaning up afterwards.Old flagstone was being replaced and we asked them to keep the pieces and move to another place on the property. They were very accommodating.

Antonio Debenedetto and his people delivered more than we expected. We asked Antonio for a cost-conscious reconstruction of our walkway, stoop and sidewalk. We got a lot more for a good price, and in a short time. Along with his reconfiguration of the walkway to widen it, and to curve twice and flare as it approaches a wider stoop, we now have an attractive additional small step with a bluestone tread and a rise to matche our home’s 85 year-old fieldstone façade. The original stoop facial stones were repointed to look new, and well-coordinated pieces of thermal bluestone were laid over the stoop’s platform. Antonio and his crew also added a cement driveway apron. And they trenched for and ran 2 underground drainpipes from the house’s front right- and left-side downspouts to the curb gutter. They added clean outs to those downspouts to prevent drain pipe clogs. Antonio was at our house multiple times each day supervising the work, and despite short-notice somehow had our work done in 4 consecutive days. To do that he had to consider changing weather forecasts, 2 days of rain, and his other jobsites, to pour concrete and allow it to set in the limited time permitted by conditions. He also gave valuable free advice for protecting our home’s foundation from moisture, and gave us some asphalt driveway sealer he said he could spare. I found Antonio to be a knowledgeable, experienced and inspired professional. He always responded quickly to my inquiries. He takes pride in his work and in assuring that his customers benefit from deciding to use him and his company. He employs people that reflect (and in whom he instills) those values; they were all hard-working, skilled, pleasant and considerate. I highly recommend Antonio and his company.
