Excellent job. A neighbor I did not previously know was walking by. He said he works for a local school system in facilities/buildings and grounds. His comment was "whoever did the work did an excellent job. You can see the workmanship and how meticulously everything was done." He asked for the name and said he would keep it if he ever needed something done.

Fantastic, Antonio and his team were quick, friendly, efficient, and polite. They got the work done in minimal time and it looks great. I would definitely hire them again to do additional work if we need them. Highly recommend!

Antonio and his team were fast, communicative, and stuck to their budget. I first hired them to do the gutter work and then added on the basement drainage work and I have been very pleased with how each job turned out. $6,200 for the french drains/sump pump and $5,500 for the gutter drainage connection to the street. I would DEFINITELY recommend them and would DEFINITELY hire them again if I needed anything.

I had a great experience with A. Debenedetto. All my neighbors and strangers who walk past my house have been commenting on our new walkway! Antonio was always very attentive and got back to me when I would ask him about the project status. We used to get water seeping up from the ground into our basement floor. Antonio's crew did my French drain and sump pumps about 8 years ago. We have had no water since then. I am posting this review today because I am thrilled that after Hurricane Ida drowned the entire town last night, with water in my backyard higher than my ankles, our basement is dry. Amazing.

Highly recommend working with Antonio and his team. They dealt with a number of unexpected challenges along the way and continued to work with us and remain flexible and professional. Very satisfied with the price and the quality of work that was done.

This is my second project with Debenedetto Construction and they are great. They installed grass sod at my 2-family investment property in Jersey City Heights in one day. The workers were friendly and professional. The first project was much bigger and it was in Rutherford where they installed pavers in my backyard, new stone stairs, and new driveway. Highly recommend.

I called this company for a quotation. No one answered my call. No one called me back neither. I wonder whether they are in business or not. I certainly won't hire a company that doesn't return a potential customer's call

Everything went smooth. I've used them in the past and was very happy with the work. When a leak formed in my chimney, I first had the flashing sealed. When that didn't work I figured it might be the masonry. I called Antonio and he can about about a day or two later to take a look. Noticed crumbling mortar and some cracked bricks. He recommended repointing the chimney. They also resealed the flashing with a rubber like compound and sprayed a sealer on the entire chimney. So far so good. I would hire again, they have great customer service.

Antonio and his crew were professional and did very good job. He was always available by phone and email, to address my concerns. If I need additional work done, I will certainly call him again.

I was completely satisfied with all aspects of the work. There have been a couple of downpours of rain since the work was completed and the leakage problem is solved. The patio looks great. I have used Debenedetto Construction for several job (e.g. a new deck, chimney repair) in recent years and their work has always been excellent. They provide a written estimate. Once the contract is signed, they give a starting date. They always arrive as scheduled and they stay until the job is competed

For several years we have had a leak in our attic near our chimneys. After every wind driven storm water would collect in our strategically placed buckets. The leaks persisted despite a new roof and multiple attempts at waterproofing the chimneys. Antonio solved our problem. He demolished, rebuilt and waterproofed our chimneys from the roof line up. We were very impressed with his professionalism, knowledge and attention to detail and are happy to report that despite several heavy rain events we have had no water in the attic since the work was completed. Antonio's crew was punctual, courteous and hard working. We highly recommend Mr. Debenedetto and would not hesitate to use him for any masonry projects we might have in the future.

When I needed asphalt work done, it was hard to even get other contractors to return calls, let alone come out and give an estimate. The job may have been too small for some contractors but it was a big deal to me. Antonio returned my call and came by the next day and gave me a price, Once I gave him the go-ahead he had the job done in less than a week. Nice clean work, professional workers. Can only say good things about the whole experience.

When Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew arrived, I showed him the corner of the garage that I had forgotten to show him on his first visit, where there was some sort of a drainage issue that had evolved over time. He was able to give me an adjusted price on the spot to replace the apron of the garage, re-angled to an existing drain. When the crew broke through the old apron of the garage, they found that water from the broken drain had eroded quite a bit of the earth and timber supporting the corner. Mr. DeBenedetto prescribed filling the void with concrete, and was able to adjust his price a third time to include the new materials. When all was said and done (over 2 days), Mr. DeBenedetto and his crew completed two major jobs, one completely unanticipated (not in the original price) in a quite reasonable amount of time for a very fair price. The workmanship of the masonry and drainage work is excellent. The crew was pleasant and obvioulsy quite skilled. Overall an excellent outcome to major work. I would recommend Mr. Debenedetto withot hesitation.

Excellent! I have worked with this company for several projects now. I ask Mr. D. for his best price at the outset and do not shop around because I know it will be reasonable and I don't want to work with anyone else. From start to finish Mr. D. is professional and responds promptly and personally. He and his workers do quality work and keep you updated on your project. This was a major undertaking because there were three layers of asphalt on this 100 foot driveway and much of it had to be dug up and removed without heavy equipment because a carport covers a lot of the driveway . But this company was up for the task. I have already gotten compliments on how nice the driveway looks. They installed Belgian blocks under the carport, which look great! Thanks, Mr. D., for another fabulous job!

Antonio and his crew did an excellent job. I hired them to build a retaining wall and front walkway for my home. Both ended up looking great--very neat and tidy. The work was clearly done with a lot of care. Antonio was courteous and knowledgeable. He kept me in the loop about how everything was coming along and helped to guide me to choose the best type of stone for the walkway. He was also the only stone mason I talked to who was able to find the right kind of stone for the retaining wall so it would match the other walls on the property. The crew left the work areas clean at the end of the job. Highly recommended!

Antonio's team lifted all the pavers, redid the base layer, moved a drain to a better spot and relaid and edged the driveway. It looks great. The project was put on hold for a while due to covid but once they were able to start, they worked quickly and efficiently and I'm very happy with the end result.

Antonio and his team were absolutely fantastic. The job itself was pretty large and tricky, but Antonio and team handled it with ease. The team was here everyday early and always left the job site clean and put together nicely. Surprisingly, as is custom with large construction jobs, there were NO surprises. Early in the process we spoke about all the "ifs" but not once did Antonio dump a surprise cost on us. It was very much appreciated. Antonio is easy to talk to, always available and would visit the job site himself multiple times a day which was another nice touch. You know what they say, "you get what you pay for" and we are very happy with the service and quality received from A. Debenedetto Construction.

This was a big job The project took around 10 days. At first we were going to just do the front steps but were talked into doing the pathway as well. We are glad we did. We also had him re-point and repair the brick masonry along the base of the house. The final look is beautiful. Very professional job. Masonry work is top-notch.

Did a fantastic job fixing the foundation on one side of my house and installing a 10' outdoor sump pump. He also installed a 'rock garden' and french drain to improve drainage on the side of my house near a retaining wall- it not only works great but looks great too. Most importantly, Antonio was patient will all of my detailed questions, and he did a great job keeping me calm throughout the work. His staff was hard working, but also pleasant and respectful, and did a great job cleaning up when done with what was a messy job. Thank you!
