Tony's answered his phone and returned calls in one day. A big plus for me. He provided an estimate the following day and had his crew on site the next Saturday at 8:30am. They completed the repair of the retaining wall and installed a much needed drainage solution in one day. The crew did a complete clean up and even power washed the driveway. Great guys, hard workers, no complaints. Nice job Tony!

I had called Antonio about a year ago to get an estimate on at that time a fairly small job of pavering one side of the house and fixing an existing foundation crack. about 9 months later the crack gave way to water and started to fill the basement. Antonio came out same day to assist with making sure the water entry was limited by installing a sheet of water proofing material to prevent water from getting past it, installed a sump pump and routed to the outside. once the weather cleared up and we agreed on the time he sent a crew who dug up the full side of my house, sealed the concrete filled the crack, backfilled, replaced the paver walkway amongst other details which were executed without any issue. Through out the process Antonio was always responsive, available and willing to explain the steps involved. everything was done as written out in the contract and any extra work or unexpected jobs were discussed and agreed upon pricing accordingly. His team has to come back later this summer to install the remaining walkway of pavers once the ground settles but thus far I am extremely satisfied with the results and level of service.

The new steps look beautiful! Removed old collapsed stone steps and constructed new steps. Also removed and replaced sidewalk leading up to door.

We had a retaining wall in the back yard I wanted to tweak. Antonio was prompt and got the job done quickly and very high quality.

UNBELIEVABLE SERVICE!!! This was one of the best contracting experiences I have ever had. Antonio was positively wonderful. He was attentive, patient, communicative and most important of all, honest. He worked directly with me and didn't have me deal with anyone else. He was accountable to his team's work and ensured perfection in every step of the work completed. My only regret is that I don't have more work to throw his way. I wish i could use him and his team on all of my general contracting services. GREAT service. REASONABLE prices. EXCELLENT work. He responded promptly to the email I sent him regarding a needed estimate. He and his crew were very professional, courteous and hard workers. I met with him several times regarding brick colors for the stairs and retaining wall. I was honest with him and told him I had no idea what I wanted on the stairs but kinda knew what color for the retaining wall. He was so kind and patient as he gave me a few ideas on brick colors for the front stairs. He and his crew worked everyday and finished in less than a week. The crew clean up after themselves every day after they left. I would highly recommend him and did already to my father in law. The only thing I am afraid of is the railing that has not been put in yet .... I read a previous review about the railing guy and it does not seem like his is professional.

Went very well. My initial inquiry was answered quickly and professionally. Antonio came to my house on a Saturday, arriving on time to provide an estimate. He has a good eye and made some great suggestions that worked out wonderfully. His man in the office Don was always courteous, efficient and prompt. They dealt with the permits and all the problems that undoubtedly accompany that process seamlessly. I made a comment to Antonio that my preference was to have the work done sooner rather than later, he remembered and his crew showed up within a week to start the work which was all completed in a week including some additions to the original work quoted. His men showed up to work there was no goofing off, they worked all day only breaking for lunch, they worked smart too no wasted time. His entire crew were courteous and respectful. Antonio showed up every day to check on the work and speak to his men and kept in contact with me throughout the entire job ensuring I was well informed. The property was kept as clean as possible with masonry work ongoing. Following every work day they cleaned up completely, at the end of the job the property was as if they were never there. They worked on Saturday as well which is a real plus. Antonio was always available, was a pleasure to work with, has a great work ethic and is a good business man. I do not wish to t**** my rating of Antonio in any way however, my only problem on the entire job was his railing guy, I found him and the crew he worked with, when they eventually did show up, to be extremely unprofessional and extraordinarily poor craftsmen. I was very surprised that Antonio, with his work ethic, chose to associate himself with such a polar opposite. His railing guy is the reason Angie's List exists. I would recommend Antonio to anyone and as a matter of fact have several times. I would absolutley use his masonry services again and will continue to recommend him to others. He brought clean top-soil, at no charge, for the small flower bed in front of the porch he just built, the porch is beautiful. If I ever had a problem, I have no doubt that Antonio would be there to handle any issue and that he stands by his work.

He was the highest quality of workmanship. He is a real mason and the people working for him are highly skilled. He is excellent and did everything more then you thought or could say. He was always there watching and communicating. I looked for a long time and saw a lot of people before I found him. I was unsure of everything I needed done and he helped me figure it all out. He did the best quality and over 5 estimates he was the least expensive.

If anyone that reads this, decides to call A. Debenedetto Construction based on my comments the would be making the right decision.

All work was done in a timely and professional manner, all issues addressed. Tony is very professional and very proud of his work, as well as his crew. Now I get so many compliments on my driveway. He was very prompt, he was there when he said he would be. He did an excellent job, I was very impressed by the work. He was quick to get the job done, it was all done within less than a day. He also cleaned up very well after himself, you couldn't even tell he was there. He had the best price of anyone by far and I will definitely use him again.

Antonio and his crew did a fantastic job. We initially thought the chimney was a complete repoint, but when Antonio and his guys went up to the roof we realized it needed to be rebuilt. He kept the price the same for us and did not cut any corners. He is a true professional. Awesome work,reasonably priced and in addition to our chimney he filled a large hole that developed in our retaining wall and fixed one of our front steps that was falling apart. when they were done, the crew cleaned up after themselfves, not one brick was left behind. I am so grateful for the wonderful work he did, and that I found him on Angies List. He went above and beyond the call of duty. I will definitely use him again,and cant recommend him enough. Working with Antonio was a great experience. He called when he said he would and showed up as promised. He is courteous and professional and his workmanship is excellent.. I would recommend him to anyone without any hesitation. I am extremely pleased with the work and I have received a number of compliments on the job he did. His crew were also very nice, courteous, and easy to deal with. He gave me an estimate, and basically came in at the price quoted and completed the project on time. You can't ask for much more than that. If I have another masonry project sometime in the future, Antonio will be the person I call.

I cannot say enough good things about debenedetto construction. They did a phenomenal job on our backyard. They took an old backyard built in 1926 and transformed it into a gorgeous yard and patio area which would only be found in more exclusive neighborhoods. Antonio Debenedetto, the owner, is a master at what he does. He is a consummate professional with very high ethical and moral standards. He is honest beyond honest, dependable, extremely easy to work with and pays meticulous attention to even the slightest detail. In short, he is a perfectionist and all these qualities are evident in the outstanding quality of the work he and his crew did for us. I think it is important to note that I was very involved in observing the progress of the work and often had a lot of questions. Antonio not only addressed every single question and/or issue, but he did so with patience and friendliness . He always went the extra mile to make sure our concerns were met and to reassure us. It's also important to note that Debenedetto construction uses only the best and finest quality materials. There's no skimping to increase the profits. I can't conclude my comments without mentioning the crew. They were very knowledgeable, dependable, neat and extremely hard working. Even when Antonio was not present, they never goofed off. I forgot to mention that they were also very courteous. One worker even helped my sister and I carry in grocery bags one day. To conclude my comments, we are so pleased with debenedetto construction that we have already talked to Antonio about more extensive work which we would like to have done this summer.

Our chimney was knocked off from a fallen tree during a storm. Antonio came out to give an estimate quickly. I had asked for three variations for the repair and decided to go with a stone facing on the new chimney instead of the original brick. I asked him to match an existing retaining wall which he did perfectly. The work was quick and neat and his price and knowledge was excellent. I would recommend them to anyone.

His team of people were amazingly fast, polite and respectful and given the great job they did, I hired them to install tile on my porch, taking care to have the grout very fine. They noticed a leak in the detached garage and immediately cleared the roof of snow and subsequently sealed it up as well. I will recommend him to any family or friend and I completely disagree with the person who is doesn't understand that giving estimates takes a time and should be compensated for it.

My inquiry was answered with a call from the owner in less than 24 hours. The appointment for an estimate was scheduled for three days from the initial call. Choices of stone and a detailed requirements were noted on the estimate. The contractor took care of all permit requests with the town and provided all necessary documentation for my homeowner's association. The contractor followed up with the town to schedule pick up of the permits which was delayed by the town not the contractor. Upon receipt of the permits, the job was scheduled within a week. In two days, the masonry work was completed. All debris was removed and time was spent to keep the area clean and free of old materials. The owner made certain that every detail was completed as per the contract. Since the railing had to be fabricated, that installation occurred approximately two weeks later. The town followed up with a final inspection which the contractor also communicated back to me. The work was done professionally and completely to specification.

Great - no problems at all. Started the job on time, cleaned up debris from old step, repaired the step foundation and taped the area.

When my 86 year old mother in law needed her outdoor railings replaced I told her I would find her someone on Angie's list so she wouldn't have to worry about.the quality of work. Well, Antonio did that and so much more. He was very patient with her, answered all her questions and explained everything he was going to do. He provided her with a written estimate and fair price, showed up when he said he would and completed the job in a timely manner. His work was professionally completed and best of all my mother in law was very happy, which hasn't always been her experience with contractors in the past. We highly recommend Antonio's work.

Overall the work went very well in all aspects. I am known and admit to be very particular about tasks performed by others as well as myself. I was not looking forward to embarking on this project but knew it was absolutely necessary. In 2008 I had an interior construction restoration project performed on my parents home that they bought in 1952. This work was done by a different contracting company after the house had sustained damages from a fire. That was my first daunting experience in the realm of construction and restoration.There were certainly some bumps and sharp turns on the ride along the way but the end result turned out beautifully and is now shown with pride. However there were moments when I felt like running away and joining a circus. So now in 2012 repairing a GAPING CRACK running down the facade of the building extension (simply from 43 years age) was obviously a MUST so as not to have the rain, snow and ice exacerbate the problem, ruin the interior and give me another headache.I had two estimates before referring to Angie's List. I made a call to A.DeBenedetto Construction, left a message and received a call back within a MORE THAN a timely manner expected. I phrase it this way so it is understood that I did not expect the return call in one hour nor wish to be kept waiting over twenty-four hours. Mr. DeBenedetto would have come to my home the following day, Saturday, to review the site but I was unavailable and so came on Monday August 27,2012. He was pleasant and very informative without being condescending or creating pressure. He was able to give a figure while present which was not the final cost in the end only because I made some specific adjustments/modifications. Work began September 12, 2012. ***What I felt I had to do was make decisions based upon what I wanted to accomplish. Aesthetic Appeal?Practical Purpose? Both? ***WHAT DID MT BUDGET DICTATE? ***I would advise anyone if possible to do as much research as you can. I already had done some but more followed after our meeting. It is very helpful for yourself and the potential contractor if you have a pretty definitive idea of WHAT YOU WANT. ***Try to educate yourself on materials -types of cement, stucco for what purpose? How long will the pigment color last if using color? Is it the front of the house or back? Do you then need color? Or do you just want to have a strong material substance used so that after SEALING it will be moisture proof as opposed to RETAINING COLOR PIGMENT? What are types of CONCRETE SEALERS? After having done this for a couple of hours over a few days and a few conversations with Antonio I knew which way was best for my purpose. *I gave a "B" Grade for pricing only because it landed somewhere in the middle of: Very inexpensive (but who knows when the job will be done) To Ridiculously Overpriced (and who do you think you are or are talking to?) The staff did other minor (needed and much appreciated) things appropriate and complimentary to the project at no extra cost and of which I was made aware by Antonio from the beginning. ***Choice of company : I felt completely CONFIDENT. *Antonio's staff on the job including the person with whom I corresponded at the office were wonderful. *Email correspondences ,texts, phone calls - all timely returned. No being left hanging here. *Contract set up is discussed and written with REASONABLE concerns regarding Deletions and Addenda. *Working staff arrived ON TIME or SLIGHTLY EARLIER - POLITE, RESPECTFUL, RELIABLE. WORKED WITH CONTINUITY. ***I would gladly have A. DeBenedetto Construction LLC do work at my home again in the future.
