It went great from the initial consultation to finishing the project. He explained in detail what had to be done to correct the problem with the driveway. We agreed on a date, workers were on time, pleasant, did the work with no distractions. Also Mr. DeBenedetto gave us a few pointers on what else we could do around the outside of the house to prevent water from leaking in. THE JOB WAS A JOB WELL DONE!!! WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Mr. Debenedetto came to my house on a Sunday afternoon for the work estimate; he only does estimates with the homeowner present and since I work full time and am away from the house for long hours every day, he came over on a weekend. The estimate was fully half of the most expensive estimate I received, and $700 below the next lowest estimate. The work was exactly as promised, with the end result being beautiful and professional in appearance and quality. I would easily recommend A. Debenedetto Construction and hope to have reason to use them again in the future.

Antonio and his employee did an excellent for us. We have a very steep backyard and we planed to build a garden on it. It was very challenging and Antonio's team simply made it! They installed five tiers of walls and build drainage system beneath. They completed the whole project fast within one week and enabled us to do spring seeding on our new garden. Amazing job! We were happy with the results. They did what they said they would do within the timeframe promised. They were punctual and did a professional job and cleaned up very well.

Tony Debenedetto and his crew were fast, efficient, and VERY helpful! Not only did he do a great job, he though ahead for the future of the walkway and included joists (or barriers) which would isolate each new slab so if the tree roots become a problem years to come, it would only affect a single block of concrete, rather than multiples, thus saving me money and time! Who can ask for a better Contractor?! Tony even kept me in the loop when there were delays due to poor weather and coordination with the Town Engineer to cut the roots to the tree before laying down the new concrete. Moreover, with all that said, his prices are competitive and the high marks from Angie's List, (including our Town's Public Works team), it was a clear choice that Tony's crew was the one to choose!

Antonio and his crew are professionals in every sense of the word. The work was done in a timely matter. Any questions that I had were answered very quickly and pleasently. I can't say enough about the great masonary work. Cleanup was very good. You could not tell they were there except for the fine work. I would definately hire and recomend Antonio and crew in the future.

This was hands down the most painless experience with a contractor. Tony and his crew are great. I went with them due to the time they spent during the estimate. Tony took the time to really talk about what I wanted, give ideas and work within my budget. The work was performed timely, and at the end of every day they cleaned up the worksite. He was always reachable by phone, answered any questions I had, and was very professional throughout the whole process. If you are looking for a quality mason that stands behind their work look no further. The other thing that was great is they took care of all the permits and setting up the inspections. They addressed any issues and the final product is better then I imagined. The steps were original to the house and in disrepair. They completely removed the steps, and build brand new. The walk was also crumbling and winded down to the street. I didn't like the winding and had the go straight to the street. I opted for simple yet classic poured concrete and they did a great job. I have other masonry jobs around the house that need to get done and will most likely call Tony again. If you are on the fence with who to choose, look no further these are the guys to choose.

Work started almost immediately, and finished exactly within the time frame he predicted, approximately 5 days. Work started by 9am and ended by 5 pm. Excellent work, craftsmanship, and professionalism. We are extremely happy with the outcome, and would definitely use them again!

The project went extremely well. We replaced very old and crumbling front steps and the walkway to the sidewalk. We also redid the driveway. Working with Antonio and his team was great. He arrived on time every day and his team worked quickly and efficiently. The project ended up being completed faster than planned. The crew works hard and is very polite. They would take off their shoes when they came into the house to use the bathroom and the kept place clean when working. In our experience, contractors have no problems making a mess and leaving tracks all over the house. This was refreshing. The quality of work was great. Antonio went above and beyond to make sure the job was done correctly. He also. worked with the town to secure all permits. I would recommend Antonio to anyone and plan on using him and his team again.

the From start to finish the work was performed professionally, the old front steps were taken down and rebuilt better than the pervious steps, The railings were custom built and look beautiful, the brick paver work is impeccably done, the old blacktop in the driveway was taken down more that 2 inches deep, re-tamped and then new blacktop installed, Anthony Debenedetto was on-site checking every aspect of the work making sure everything was done right and perfect. My wife and I love the way everything looks, We are very happy and Thank Anthony Debenedetto for a beautiful Job, OUR HOUSE LOOKS GREAT!!! In closing I would like to say it was a Pleasure doing Business with Anthony.

We had a great experience with Antonio. We called a few providers on Angie's to take a look at two inaccessible crawlspace areas that we want to insulate. Antonio promptly came out to take a look at our project. He was the most thoughtful in assessing the work, spending a decent amount understanding the layout of our home and taking measurements. When his team came out to start the job we had an unexpected surprise, one of the crawlspaces was actually a dirt floored basement that was never incorporated after a previous addition. Antonio suggested we create an entry way and pour a concrete floor, giving us additional storage space in our basement, great idea. To access our other crawlspace it had to be done via a window and window well. The window well matches our existing window wells, while a large removable window was installed making access easy. Antonio was also nice enough to take care of a small crack in our front walk as the job was wrapping up. Two days, in and out just as he said, even with the unexpected addition of a new basement floor. Everything went as planned and looks great. We?d definitely use Antonio again for future masonry needs.

Everything went well. Antonio and his guys did everything we agreed to. There was one change to do some additional electrical work, this was discussed in advanced before anything was done. We are very happy with the result. I have used Antonio two other times in the past and plan on using him again in the future.

Antonio promptly returned my phone call and immediately scheduled an appointment for a free estimate. He showed up at our home exactly when he said he would. Antonio was very professional and a pleasure to talk to. We discussed what I wanted to have done and explained every aspect of the job in detail. He offered suggestions/recommedations in the design of the project which was very helpful. He answered all of my questions in a cordially and professional manner. Unlike other companies/contractors I had called for estimates, Antonio took his time going over everything and I never felt rushed or uncomfortable. Antonio and his crew showed up at my home on time the first day and every day. His crew is amazingly talented. They work at the correct pace while paying attention to every detail of the job. They are very good at what they do. Antonio is a man of his word. He is honest, polite, fair, reasonably priced and always went above and beyond to make the customer happy. No mater when I called, he was always happy to talk to me and answered any questions I had. My wife and I could not be happier with the end result. The professional work and installation they did and all the attention to detail really made for a beautiful job. We will definitely call him again for future work. I highly recommend A. The cement coating over our foundation had been losing chunks for a few years and had other problems, including clear deterioration of some of the blocks around the garage and similar issues. We also had a small porch that we wanted to update and a 3 ft retaining wall along the driveway built using Belgium blocks that had collapsed in places. We called Debenedetto in July and Antonio came out within a few days to give us an estimate. From the start, he was very professional and helpful in explaining our options and the costs. He was also responsive to our concerns and was willing to work with us on, for example, our desire to minimize impact on our new landscaping (which meant more manual labor to dig down at the foundation.) The initial estimate was $8500, and we agreed on a start time in September. After a few phone calls at the end of August to fix the date, Antonio and his crew started work the second week of September. The crew was also professional and did an excellent job in all respects, finishing the work in about a week. The end results were all great, and we're very happy with how it all looks and how it's performed in the few months since the work has been done. We're certainly put Debenedetto at the top of our list if we needed similar work in the future. Just a note about the final cost. Although it ended up exceeding the estimate by a fair amount, it was a result of additional work that had to be done after two other problems were uncovered during the work. First, the portion of the foundation that had to be waterproofed was longer and (much) deeper than anyone expected given the layout of the house, which added $1700. Second, we added on #6 above when during the course of the work it became clear that a significant cause of our problem was the deterioration of our underground drainage pipes (probably from the 1960s), which was causing water to collect around the foundation. This was an additional $3900. In both cases, Antonio explained the issues clearly and gave us different cost options. Neither of these were a big surprise to us, and we feel that the final price ended up being fair for the work done. It was also nice that Antonio didn't try to put this work off to some later date, but rather finished it all up quickly by bringing in a second crew.

Mr Debenedetto was a true professional when it came to having my porch repaired I needed a new slab and new brick steps, all work that was done was of the highest quality.it took them 3 days to get the work completed once they started they came everyday left the front yard spotless he even repaired some bricks that was not included in the contract and did not charge me I would use him again if the need arises

The contractor was very helpful and even called the City's permit department to help facilitate the process. He explained the work his crew would do and the time it would take and they followed the plan. They also cleaned up all the debris. Thanks Angie's List! I wasn't disappointed.

This is our second job with Debenedetto. Construction started Nov 2 and finished Nov 9. As with the previous project, Antonio's workers were very professional and did a fantastic job. They are meticulous in their work and pay close attention to detail. In the end they gave us exactly what we wanted! They left the site clean and completely transformed our house!

This is the second time I've used Antonio and I plan to use him again in the future. He and his guys are very professional and polite. They show up on time, do the job that has been agreed to and make sure that any changes are discussed with the homeowner before making any additional repairs. The work went off with any issues, Antonio is a pleasure to work with.

Antopnio and his people expertly tore down our front steps, reconstructed them, tore out and re paved our driveway lining it with pavers, and repaired the foundation of our elevated side porch which is concrete. They did a fabulous job. Everything looks great. They were prompt in getting there in the morning, worked hard, and stuck to their estimate which was right in the ball park with others. Antonio was professional, yet friendly and pleasant to deal with. They cleaned up well after the work was done. The men were polite and friendly. We were very pleased with the outcome and service. Neighbors were inquiring as to who did the job as they could see what a fine job it was! Antonio was also kind enough to fix the driveways at the foot of them where the town had done some street work and left them uneven, doing it for free, which the neighbors appreciated. I would highly recommend them for the quality of their work first and foremost.

Antonio and his team were wonderful! They were punctual, polite, and professional. Our job was a three day job, and his team cleaned up everything each night before they left. The patio looks so amazing that we are already saving to do the rest of the area around the pool that is currently done in concrete. Another note on just how nice these guys were...I had some river rock in the back that I had slowly been moving to the front of my house for my garden. I did not finish before Antonio's team showed up to do the work, so he asked what I had wanted to do with the river rock. I explained that I just hadn't finished wheel barreling it to the front gardens so if they could just pile it somewhere to the side I would be grateful. He and his team moved all the remaining rock to the front and added it to my gardens. This small gesture was so meaningful to me that that act alone for professionalism gave him an A in my book. If there was a category for genuine, nice human being he and his crew would all get A's in that too. I highly recommend Antonio and his team to anyone looking for excellent work.

It should be noted that we agreed that much of the excavation was to be hand dug due to the septic, water, and gas lines involved. However, on day one, they broke our septic line, as well as damaging our siding, with their use of the back hoe. They took out our roof downspout drain and existing sump discharge lines without providing a temporary workaround (duration of the job was to be three weeks, so something had to be put in place to handle these items during the job). We ended up putting in the workarounds ourselves. Later when they permanently reconnected these lines to the discharge line, they crossed over the pipes (like an X) which shows poor workmanship. On following days, they significantly damaged our back lawn by "doing us a favor" and dragging trees downed from the hurricane to the curb without asking us first. Sprinkler heads were also damaged in the process (although we couldn't confirm it until the spring). They also cut our well water supply line and our water treatment discharge line. They changed the waterproofing membrane without clearing it with us first - This would have been OK except they incorrectly installed the membrane, even though I gave them install instructions from the manufacturers web site. They were going to install the perimeter drain pipe with the holes up - I had to insist that it be installed correctly with the holes facing down. Most importantly though, was their failure to properly support the gas meter and line when excavating that area. The gas company almost shut down the project when they came to inspect during the job. The buried gas line to our pool had to be disconnected at the meter later due to improper backfilling. Many of the temporary workarounds needed to correct these issues were done by us to insure our safety. We had no confidence now in their work, but could not fire them at this point - we had two huge trenches around our foundation - who would come in to finish the work right before Christmas? It should also be noted that we signed a contract in October, agreeing to work starting at the end of October. They subsequently pushed us back to December 3rd because they put another job ahead of us. It should also be noted that we did not have them do all the work we contracted for due to these problems. I would not recommend Antonio to anyone else, as he always had an excuse for all the problems, and his workers barely spoke English, so correcting issues was always a phone call because Antonio was not always on site.
