I had a major problem with excess water accumulating in my garage area to the point that is was unusable. I read some reviews and decided to contact Mr. Debenedetto. He stopped by to see the problem (difficult to explain over the phone) and we scheduled the work. Mr. Debenedetto contacted me earlier than scheduled and asked if he could start the work earlier. He had a crew ready at 9am the next morning and completed the job by the following afternoon (ahead of schedule). Mr. Debenedetto stopped by both days to make sure the work was being performed as per contract and to make sure it was to our liking. His crew was very hard working, extremely professional and very friendly. They went the extra mile to let me know when they were coming or going and where in the project they were leaving off. Due to my minor surgery, they even took it upon themselves to help me by removing all of my personal belongings (which I should have cleared out before the work began). I would recommend A. Debenedetto Construction LLC to anyone who requires water proofing and/or masonry work. You will not be disappointed by the cost, service or professionalism. If I ever need this type of service again (obviously for another part of my home as I don't foresee any issues with the work recently completed), you can be sure I will call Antonio!

A Debenedetto Construction LLC recently did my front porch and sidewalks up to my front steps. They did an excellent job. Mr. Debenedetto figured the job would take four days and it was completed as scheduled. He stopped by in the morning to make sure his men were doing exactly what he had promised in our contract and he stopped at the end of the day to confirm the project was on schedule. The A Debenedetto?s crews were very hard workers, extremely professional and very friendly. They all took pride in the work they accomplished. I would recommend to anyone who requires masonry work to have Mr. Debenedetto perform whatever work they need, you won?t be disappointed.

I made an appointment with A. Debenedetto Construction to get an estimate of the cost to repair the porch. The owner, Antonio Debenedetto, came as scheduled riight on time to inspect the job and to give an estimate of the cost. Within a few days, he provided a a detailed written proposal. Once the proposal was accepted, he gave a time frame in which he would be able to start the work. The work was started within the time frame, even earlier than I had expected. Once the work was started , it was was completed within a few days, again faster than I had expected. During the course of the project, some work was also done on one of the supporting walls for the concrete slab to insure the structural integrity of the porch. The supporting walls were covered with stucco. Measurements for the railing were made on the day the concrete work was completed and the railing was installed as promised. The porch looks great. I could not be happier with the quality of the work and with the timely manner that the work was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend A. Debenedetto Construction to a friend.

I had three sets of outside entrance stairs replaced with new bannisters. Belgium blocks were installed on both sides of the driveway. Underground drainage was installed in the front and back of the house with popup drains in the grass area. Pavers were set in the front of the house and along a widened path to the patio in the back of my house. The patios were also paved. Just lovely, all in two tones of grey.

They dug around the entire basement opening perimeter to waterproof before installing the door. It was a little tricky to install the door we ordered since it required extension panels due to extra wide opening. It took all day for a crew of 3 to finish the job of pouring the concrete, waterproofing, assembling and installing the door. The owner came to supervise just before the door was actually installed. We were quite relieved they were able to make the door fit. They did a very professional job and everything was cleaned up. We would definitely recommend them. They are a very experienced and knowledgeable crew.

Contractor was very responsive on first contact and scheduled an immediate estimate and provided written contract with all discussed details. Contractor provided additional help by taking on slab request during job. Staff was professional. Job site left very clean. Job was completed quickly in 3 days. Contractor made excellent recommendations. I will be utilizing their services again - very satisfied with work.

He did an excellent job . His work crew was very efficient and knowledgeable . He said it would take four days to complete and he was right. After the crew quit for the day they cleaned up everything and left no mess . A car was pearled in front of the house and it got a lot of dust on it he had his crew wash the car before they left. I am very pleased with his work and I highly recommend him.

I would certainly would like to know how other reviewers on this site were able to get all this "Personal Attention" from A.Debenedetto. First contacted Debenedetto by phone on 8/23/14. Not only didn't a "live person" answer the phone, you're instructed to leave a message by recognition software voicing which stated "do to high demand, we are scheduling estimates one week from today." I followed up with an email form from the Debenedetto Website and received a automatic email response stating "One of our Affiliates will be in touch with you soon. One of Debenedetto's "Affiliates" left a VM on my home phone 8/27/14 to call him back to schedule a "free estimate". I returned the call 8/28/14. The phone rang for 6 rings before being answered by a recording stating "leave a VM message for 201-XXX-XXXX; no personal ID whatsoever. When I call a Contractor, I expect that service to be done by that Contractor, not some unknown Affiliate! Living in the NYC/Metro Area I have been subject to more "scams" by so called "Contractors" then I care to remember. It was because of this I decided to sign up for "Angie's List". It's apparent to me Debenedetto is just another one of those Contractors that outsources to unlicensed, unqualified Day Laborers. I am unable and unwilling to continue throwing "good money after bad" repairing repairs made by Scam Artists. With the outstanding reviews Dibenedetto Construction received on Angie's List, the very least you could expect is a Professional Organization that could afford to have a "Live" person answer the phone. Don't waste your time!

Work done June 2014 - French drains from back of house to street on both sides of house; new down spout drains with flush out access installed on entire house; new front stairs; walkway and driveway made of armor tech pavers- and stucco retainer wall- came out beautiful!! Very happy and highly recommend this company !! ?

Had a couple conversations and email exchanges with the company and Anthony. They came out and got the job done by squeezing us in to their busy schedule - perfect timing. Everything went well - they had to bring in some gravel to even the space out. I had 0 issues and the shed went right up, no uneven patches. Basically, perfectly executed.

There was no interaction after setting up appointment and confirming. They never showed after running 30 minutes late, never contacted me and i left them a message letting them know there'd be no further contact after being so rude and inconsiderate!!

We had a great experience working with Antonio and his crew from start to finish. Antonio is a truly hands-on boss and his knowledge and professionalism is top notch. Every aspect of the job was explained in detail and our numerous questions were answered. Despite the fact he has multiple crews working in various places he would show up every day to check on the job and was easily accessible by phone. They cleaned up everything on a daily basis. The job turned out beautifully and we have received many positive comments from neighbors. It is great to deal with an individual who takes pride in his work which is rare these days!!

Antonio (owner) came to our house as scheduled to look at the job. He is very busy so it took a while to get an appointment but don't let that worry you. He arrived right on time and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He explained what we needed and gave us a quote on the spot. I was so impressed with the information he provided and the way he presented the quote. He said it would take 3 to 4 weeks to start the job, about 4 days to complete the job and 3 weeks after the stairs were in to install the railing. Everything happened just as he said it would and the cost was exactly as he quoted. Yes you read that correctly. Amazing No! I have dealt with a lot of contractors and this is the BEST experience I have ever had getting work done. Thank you Antonio. You are so appreciated. And the stairs and walkway look amazing. I spoke to 3 contractors regarding this job. I am 100% sure I picked the right man for the job!

First Antonio is great to work with, he's very personable and extremely knowledgeable. He maintained constant contact, updating me about the timing and status of the job, as I wasn't home during most of the construction. He even fit me into his schedule (which he may not be able to do for everyone), but he understood that we needed to get the work done quickly and actually got over to my house earlier than expected. For the front walk, they did a fabulous job, I feel regal walking down my front walk now, I should have fixed it a long time ago. They were neat, and even moved the sod from the space next to the previous walkway, so I didn't need to plant new sod, which wasn't discussed when talking about the job. The foundation looks extremely solid too. honestly I can't imagine it cracking. For the garage and repair work, they also did a great job. One day to hammer out the old floor, and one day to get the new floor put in. The guys worked extremely hard, cleaned up when they were done, and kept their equipment confined to a small spot when not in use. Bottom line he did an awesome job at a good price. I would 100% recommend using him again.

Antonio was the only contractor who followed through with providing an estimate. Others said they would come out but didn't. He completed the job in two days and did great work. I would highly recommend and use him again.

I was looking for someone to get in and get it done quickly since i am putting the house on the market, They came in 2 days after getting a quote and were done in less than a day. I went down to the basement to look in the middle of the job, there was Dust fro the old bricks everywhere, when they left they had cleaned up and removed all the debris created during the job.

We really had no idea what the finished product of our job would look like but we had some basic, albeit vague, ideas at the outset of a general look and feel. Antonio worked with us to talk through what different finished jobs might look like, guiding us towards a choice that was ultimately even better than we envisioned. The job involved tearing down two sets of brick and concrete steps, with a new, wider entranceway rebuilt in the front yard using a mix of brick, concrete and bluestone. During the planning stages, my wife expressed a desire to widen a blacktop driveway that we have next to the job site. Antonio suggested a very creative solution that involved using Belgian blocks as a border for the job that could serve a secondary purpose on that they could be driven over, if necessary, thus making my wife happy with her supplemental goal of getting more space in the driveway. Antonio's work is quality - TOP quality. From our experience, it is clear that he will only use the highest quality materials for the job and he does the job the RIGHT way. No cutting corners. His crew are professional and many of them are true craftsmen. Watching them work gave us a very good feeling that the job would be around and in good condition for many years to come. In exchange for this quality, you will probably pay a little more than for other contractors. Antonio is not the cheapest on the street but you're paying for quality and efficiency. His job teams are well staffed, they know what they're doing and they're both reliable and courteous. In this sense, I didn't mind paying a bit more to have a team that I know will show up every day, get the work done on time and do a job that I know will last as it should. Since the job was finished (only took a week!) our neighbors and even strangers from other parts of the neighborhood have stopped by or even pulled over their cars to get out and ask me who did the job and what did it cost, simply because it came together so nice. I would definitely recommend Antonio to anyone and would use him again for future work at our house!

They did really good work on the masonry and they did it quickly. They finished the job in one day. They also did this at a reasonable price.

anthony came out promptly, with a phone call, to provide an estimate and inform what would take place. we were in no hurry and he said they would squeeze us in, called the night before desiring to start if ok, we agreed and he had a small crew of several there monday, at the time he said, breaking up old walk/clearing ground and prepping for concrete pour which was the nest day. i was home all day the first day and anthony stopped back several times to inspect and make sure all was correct. each time he made sure to speak with me. crew worked through the day and did a good job. tuesday they came and put down the concrete. no one was home that day, we just made sure they could get where they needed and had hose/water. when i got home everything was done and cleaned up. my neighbor said he watched them during the day and thought they did good work with a great cleanup. anthony stopped by later to make sure i was pleased with the job. everything looks great, real proof will be when it rains heavy and we see what the flow id away from the foundation.i don't have too many things done on my home by anyone but me; this was beyond the scope of a one man job. while there are some things i would have done differently, we are please with the service and would recommend this company.

Even though did not actually do the work, nor could they offer the service, provider spoke to me over phone on what to look for in concrete patios, and the options I had. Appreciated the professionalism and advice.

The price and job scope were both made clear. The work was done within the agreed upon time and, most importantly, the masons on the job did excellent work. Very clean and quality job.

They were puntual, professional and they cleaned up every day after working. They did an excellent job. At least one person has asked me for their info so far.

We had a basement window well which consistently leaked when it rained, so we called Antonio and his crew to block up the window permanently. They They did an excellent job, were punctual and efficient, left the yard and basement in good order, and we haven't had a speck of trouble with the wall since. I would call them again if I ever have need of similar services.
