Went very well.. Job competed in a timely manner. Neat and very nice crew.

After contacting the company, they responded right away. They came out to do an estimate and gave me a price in writing with the details of the work included. The price they quoted was a little more expensive than the other 2 quotes I received but both of the other companies were booked through the summer and I wanted the project to be done in July. The work began EXACTLY when the owner of the company reported it would. It took EXACTLY the amount of time he told me it would take. The crew COMPLETELY cleaned up the site and my back yard looked better after they finished than it did before they started. And you could not ask for better workmanship. It's beautiful. A couple if other points that I need to mention... - First, when they came to evaluate the job, the owner said he wasn't sure if he could find an exact color match for the bricks (he took a picture of the stairs to use as a reference). I told him to see what he could find and if I thought it was close enough, it would be Ok. His crew showed up to start the project when I was at work and met with my wife. The bricks were a completely different color, not even close. They held the new caps in the place they were going to install them and as it turned out, my wife loved the contrast from the dark lower bricks with the light caps. The finished product looks better than the original. But I think this is more a happy coincidence than by design. I suspect the new bricks were either extra from a different project or were very inexpensive. - Second, when I brought up on the phone with the owner that the bricks were not what we discussed and were not what was reflected in the written contract, he said that this was a small project and that he was not making any money off it. I told him that I don't believe anyone takes a project that they won't make money off of. And that I actually had 2 estimates cheaper than his. I didn't like being treated on the phone like my project was beneath him. If he felt that way, he should not have accepted it. After that bit of friction, the issues were resolved and I now have a beautiful, sturdy set of steps.

Debenedetto construction had previously repaired my badly deteriorated concrete slab front porch and did an excellent job. Therefore I contacted them when it was time to replace the driveway. The owner, Antonio Debenedetto, came at the scheduled time to evaluated the project and to give an estimate of the cost. He discussed the possible options for the driveway replacement and then gave an estimated cost along with a time frame in which the project could be started. Once the contract was signed, the project was started within the promised time frame and then completed, without any delays, in a short period of time. The driveway looks great. I could not be happier with the quality of the work and with the timely manner in which the work was completed. Some of the same workers were present for both projects that Debenedetto Construction has done for me. I have found the workers to be very reliable and conscientious. They take pride in the quality of work that they do.

Antonio and his team were very courteous, and professional. We called and made an appointment for him to come out and look at the risers. Unlike previous contractors, he was able to give us the cost of our project on the spot. We decided to hire Debenedetto Construction, and after all of the paper work was submitted, they were able to schedule our job. His team arrived early that morning and removed all of the railings, and the old caps from the risers. They went on to cut the caps into the shape of the front of the risers. After which they installed, and cement them in place. They finished the entire installation on the first day, and returned the following morning to re-install the painted railings.

This is our second experience with Antonio and his crew. Like the first it was a great, great experience. Incredibly professional. Quick call-backs, appointments kept, punctual. Friendly and honest. And the work ... simply none better. Beautiful, professional job all around, went over and above on several things. Cleanup after the job was meticulous. We are delighted and will look no further the next time we need a masonry job done.

Antonio and his crew were great to work with; true professionals. The work was performed in a timely manner and we were in communication throughout the duration of the project. The owner, Antonio and his team did a wonderful job of turning our weed filled backyard into a beautifully paved patio area. They also rebuilt/repaired our back step, patio steps and other areas around our property. Antonio was very pleasant and easy to work with. The team was professional, timely, and very detailed in performing the work from beginning to end (including clean up). We're very happy with the work and the patio looks fantastic!

Actually started work 2 weeks earlier then originally said. Said he squeezed me in because I told him my kids were graduating and he wanted it to look nice for that. Worked through pouring rain to get the job done. Looks beautiful!

Antonio was the only mason who provided me with the best solution for the best price. I thank him for helping me create some curb appeal to my old home. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

Antonio was great, we called him in for a consultation on what we could do in our yard, he gave us options and showed us examples of his work. We were originally looking to do a smaller area, but given that Debenedetto's pricing was very fair, we opted in for a much larger area. His crew came out early on our scheduled day, and worked amazingly hard. From setup, to clean up, they really knocked the job out of the park. Due to rain, it took about a half day longer than expected but the results are amazing and we couldn't be happier with our new patio. We're thrilled with the work and the company, and are already planning on contracting Debenedetto again for some concrete work we need done.

Initially promising. Reception quickly scheduled a meeting. However, on the day of the meeting, 25 minutes before the agreed time, reception called and cancelled. I had already left work early to meet them. Very frustrating.

Everything went great. Antonio's guys are excellent workers, they are professional, polite and know what they're doing. Antonio takes complete ownership of his work. We asked for a couple of things to be re-done, there were no arguments about it. Antonio takes customer service seriously, he does everything he can to make sure his customers are happy. The quality of the overall work was excellent, we are thrilled with the way the house looks. This is the fourth time I've used Antonio. I will definitely use him again in the future.

Antonio came out personally and did a complete inspection of the job- he explained to me step by step what he would do to not only ensure a great outcome but also make sure I wouldn't have any issues for years to come. He gave me a fair price and his office immediately followed up with contracts. Within 30 days his team was at my house working. Even though like many reviewer mentioned he isn't always at the job site, he didn't need to be. His team is extremely professional, hard working and clean!! They did an amazing job and didn't cut corners in any way. At the end, we got all we expected and more- even some additional steps that should have been charged for. Its refreshing to work with a professional outfit like this who recognizes that every job is their calling card. Hands down one of the best- highly recommend.

A year and a half ago A Debenedetto repaired our patio. I hope the delay in posting this review does not diminish our enthusiasm for their work. The foundation of our old patio was crumbling. I liked the old patio but feared it could not be saved. We had a few proposals, all of which were somewhat lower, however, Mr. Debenedetto's professionalism and knowledge inspired confidence in his ability to save the patio. That confidence was not misplaced! Mr. Debenetto was on site each morning to supervise the crew. The crew was very professional and diligent and they worked clean. They were all a pleasure to work with. We could not be more pleased with the result. We would absolutely recommend them. They are a good value for the quality of their work and expertise.

Two weeks ago, Antonio, the owner, came to the house, arriving promptly. He gave me a quote on the spot. I told him my work schedule, and when I would be home. We knew weather probably would not permit until last Friday, which is when work started and finished today. Every aspect of the job was done in a professional, workmanlike manner. All debris was removed, no mess was left and the finished work is amazing. They did a beautiful job. I'm so happy. I ve already gotten compliments on the job and they just finished today! I hired DeBenedetto Construction last summer for a large project. New paver driveway & a large bluestone patio. I am very pleased with both!I had been having a water issue in basement, Antonio waterproofed back of house & basement is now dry :-). I will hire Debenedetto again & would highly recommend this company!

Highly recommend hiring Antonio's company for any type of masonry work that needs to be done. The crew is professional, hard working, always on time, pay exceptional attention to detail. Doing business with Antonio is a pleasure. He has excellent communications skills, both with his crew and his customer. " Says what his firm does, does what he says." He supervises the work to be done from conception to finish, no detail is overlooked, answers all questions in explaining the job. The price he charges for the job is more than fair for the work accomplished. The work done is exceptional and gets great reviews from the neighbors.

I was about to put the house up for sale when the problem was noticed. Anthony responded quickly; gave me a fair estimate and completed the job on time and on budget. Their quick response enabled me to get the ouse on the market. Their quality and responsiveness was excellent. Would definitely use, or recommend them again.

I can't begin to tell you how impressed I was with A. Debenedetto Construction LLC for their efficiency, cohesiveness, and their tenaciousness in follow up, in short they are very professional, seasoned in all aspects of dealing with Townships Cities, etc. Angie's List was dead on, on how excellent they are. I wish all vendors I deal with were like this one. I'm sure I could have gotten a better price for the project I had done, but in short they were competitive to everyone else (they were not the cheapest) but you get what you pay for, quality of work and sound of mindset is much more important for me. They communicated with me through the entire process step by step. I travel a lot for my profession and I'm not easy to get a hold of since I'm flying around most of the time, but they did. I had Antonio and his team re-due my front stairs to the entrance to my house in Weehawken, NJ. Just to let you know Weehawken (Hudson County) is very strict and comprehensive with contractors with regards to the Contractor Permits, Errors and Omission, policies, etc which make our town safer from a building perspective but to navigate the process is not something for an amateur contractor, as time is money. Antonio and his team were able to get the permits and approvals in a timely manner, it was ideal that they dealt with the City and kept me, the consumer, out of the process. In the end, they handled everything with the city from permits to the final review. The stairs were done in one day and they turned out excellent. Again, I can voice how happy I was with the work and I would recommend them to anyone.

Debenedetto was not the lowest price estimate I had received, but I felt that his was the most complete and would last me for years and years. In addition, my house is old and so the stone work and brick work are all old. Rather than using brand new supplies, Antonio found me old slate, stones and bricks, so that the work would fit the house. Something minor needed to be corrected and it was in a timely fashion

Excellent. I love dealing with Antonio. He is very responsive to calls, easy to work with, and the final product is always excellent. His prices are usually average, not the lowest, not the highest, but the quality of his work and his responsiveness in light of a day and age where it is so hard to get contractors to call you back, makes it all worth while. He reconstructed the front steps of our church's parsonage with top quality materials, matching the older style of the foundation of the home. He was thorough in cleanup, finished quickly, and did a top notch job as always. This is the second time I have dealt with Antonio. We previously had him do work at our own home and were so pleased we recommended him to the church. I have found him to be honest and above board always. he is a pleasure to work with. he was sensitive to the church's needs and finances, and as far as do's and don'ts, well, there are no don'ts with Antonio, and a definite "do" hire him!

Contacted Antonio in the evening through Angie's list. He responded shortly after and set up appointment for estimate the next morning. I was good with the price and immediately felt confident Antonio knew his stuff. Job was started two days later. Overall job went very well. Crew was very polite, professional and hard working. My main reason for having the work done were water issues on left side and back of my basement. These issues were absolutely remedied by the work done. I was also very pleased with the pavers done in back yard. We asked for a diamond pattern in the center which was a little difficult due to space limitations but it came out great. Any minor issues with the job that I brought to Antonio's attention were immediately addressed. He was on job site first thing every morning to get crew going and make sure I was pleased with work done on previous day. I would highly recommend Antonio especially if you have water issues. He also filled in some cracks and other minor fixes not discussed in original estimate for no extra charge. He even returned twice after job was complete to address a minor issue with the slate retaining wall. My only negatives of the whole experience are, during my job Antonio had at least two other jobs going on in other towns and I felt like the end of my job was a little rushed because he needed the crew for another job site. Also, down payment of $3000.00 was agreed upon and payed with the balance due at completion of job. But I was asked for balance at least twice before job was complete. Balance was paid at job completion.

I had a major problem with excess water accumulating in my garage area to the point that is was unusable. I read some reviews and decided to contact Mr. Debenedetto. He stopped by to see the problem (difficult to explain over the phone) and we scheduled the work. Mr. Debenedetto contacted me earlier than scheduled and asked if he could start the work earlier. He had a crew ready at 9am the next morning and completed the job by the following afternoon (ahead of schedule). Mr. Debenedetto stopped by both days to make sure the work was being performed as per contract and to make sure it was to our liking. His crew was very hard working, extremely professional and very friendly. They went the extra mile to let me know when they were coming or going and where in the project they were leaving off. Due to my minor surgery, they even took it upon themselves to help me by removing all of my personal belongings (which I should have cleared out before the work began). I would recommend A. Debenedetto Construction LLC to anyone who requires water proofing and/or masonry work. You will not be disappointed by the cost, service or professionalism. If I ever need this type of service again (obviously for another part of my home as I don't foresee any issues with the work recently completed), you can be sure I will call Antonio!
