When our sprinkler system was winterized, we noticed that the shut-off valve was not 100% closed (slow drip from the drain pipe). I contacted Mike at Navesink Plumbing and got an quick response via text message. (Mike has done work for us before and we're both comfortable texting. Mike does return phone calls within a day.) Since this wasn't a total plumbing disaster, Mike accommodated my work schedule and came to do the repair late in the afternoon several days later. Despite the too-tight space in which to fix the problem, Mike found another option and installed a second valve in a place with easier access. The work was completed the same day, within about an hour after his arrival. Mike is very professional and great to work with. He explains the situation and gives options on how to move forward. I especially love how he is very accommodating about my work schedule. He has a great sense of humor and has an expert team working with him.

This is my second service with Navesink. Found my water heater leaking (done) 6:30PM on a Thursday releasing water onto/into finished basement floor (wet carpet outside utility room). Called Navesink right away and Michael picked up. Explained issue and he was at my house at 9pm to assess (after my kids went down at my request). 15 minutes or so to scope the job. Showed up next morning with a new 75 gal. unit (exact replacement). Installed and out the door by 12PM or so. No damage to house and good cleanup. Dealt with the limitations of a finished basement without complaining or giving me static about it like other guys would. Explained warranty and permits etc. Fair price and given timeline above could not be beat. Will use again.

These guys responded the same day to my message and came straight over to check out the source of water coming from behind my fridge. They discovered that the water line inside the fridge had a leak, shut the water off to the fridge and then went on to fix a drain stopper in my master bath. They were friendly and professional and I would definitely call them again.

left a voicemail for provider requesting an appt for an estimate; I never heard back from them; I did not bother to follow up as I found another provider as a point of clarity, and in response to the provider's comments, I would like to note that my voicemail stated the work would be for Red Bank, the only way provider could deduce that I MAY be located in Brick is by viewing my profile

Unfortunately, my experience appears to be an outlier from the rest of these reviews. I originally tried calling a few times before leaving a voicemail to schedule service at my house. Without receiving a response for a couple of days, I attempted to call again, when I was able to reach someone and schedule service. About 24 hours before the scheduled service, I needed to reschedule due to a conflict. I called and left a voicemail requesting the reschedule and offering times that would work. Again, I didn't receive any confirmation. I called back the day of my originally scheduled service to confirm cancellation and rescheduling. I was promised a call back to reschedule, which never came.

Discovered one of my valves leaking in a ceiling late morning on a Friday; Found Navesink here on Angie's and called them at approx 11:30 AM. Here by 12:30PM or so. Out the door by 2:30PM or so at a reasonable price. Joe and I worked together and he listened to what we wanted to do. Since both within ceiling/walls of finished basement, wanted to do correct but also flexible enough to look good and allow future owners to change out appliances with no issue in terms of accessing and turning on/off water supplies. Changed out leaky valve and junky plastic tubing for new valve and stainless braided hose. Replaced same on another wet bar fridge water supply just for good measure. Fairly straightforward but necessary project done quick with little hassle. Will call again.

Returned my call with in a day. Sent over a worker who was very helpful in trying to repair our problem. A pleasure to have in my home.. All around happy with the process would defiantly recommend..

They were very courteous, prompt and professional. The work was done quickly and they cleaned up after themselves. I would absolutely use them again and recommend them to everyone.

Although at first glance bit expensive, given the turnaround time to identify, provide options and the time to fix the problem, it was definitely worth the cost and investment in the relationship. Since then, we have repeatedly used their services towards other electrical problems for our house and other commercial sites. They show up when expected and the job is completed within the expected time frame.

I called Navesink Plumbing and heating and they came out that same day. The work was done in a pleasant and professional manner. He checked that everything was working correctly and that there were no leaks. I was very pleased with the service and the cost as quoted over the phone. I would definitely use them again.

I had called this company after reading the reviews in angle's list. The call was answered right away and an appointment was given for the following day if i recall correctly. They did not show up but still i gave them another shot because of the excellent reviews they had. They answered the called and acknowledged to have dropped the ball by not showing up (i think it was the owner who talked to me) stating they had been very busy, which i can understand. He gave me an appointment for the next day, showed up on time and did an excellent job. Installation was quick, Kenny and Rob were very professional and gave me instructions about what to do if anything went wrong with the garbage disposal. So far I have not had any issues with my disposal and i would totally recommend Navesink Plumbing and Heating LLC to other members of angle's list. Im very pleased with their work.

They were very good. They were on time. My husband worked with them and not me. I liked them because they came and the job was done. The only negative is that they were a little expensive. But they are plumbers, so I expected that. It wasn’t a long job. It was two people, and they did it. They came to the house the same day. After they got here, they went out, got the parts, came back and installed it. The job was done. I have no complaints. Everything worked well.

After repeated trips due to part problems, everything was satisfactorily installed today. They have done other work for us in the past such as installing new dishwasher, new disposal, and a new backup system for the sump pump. They are extremely pleasant to deal with and their service fees are certainly competitive. They will do everything in their power to make sure that the customer is satisfied.

My house was destroyed by Sandy in 2012. I contacted Mike of Navesink Plumbing in 2013. With red tape, insurance, raising the house etc. resoration work only could begin in the winter of 2014. All previous plumbing, gas lines etc were removed. When I saw the beginning of all of the new installations, I was so impressed. There is incredible attention to detail. The quality of work is superior. Workers are professional.Work was done on schedule. Everything we expected was completed even though we live at a distance. As this house nears completion with all new plumbing, heating and AC, I cannot say enough to thank them. I recommend them as the best! Thanks Mike and your team.!!

Mike beat all the competition in price! Within 2 week after my initial call, my new hot water heater was installed in the basement. Work was performed in a timely manner by an extremely pleasant, efficient, and competent team. He answered all my questions..even drew a diagram as to why my old heater was failing. Upon completion, the work area was thoroughly cleaned. Mike and his crew are the very BEST!!

The services were never performed due to the fact that they never even responded to my request for a quote. This provider was unprofessional and I would highly state "do not use". If a provider cannot even respond to an inquiry for services, how prompt and efficient can their work be. The fact that they failed to return my email and solicitation for an estimate is a great indicator that they are not a quality service provider.

The water heater was not working. I found Navesink Plumbing & Heating on Angie's List, and gave a call. Michael picked up the phone, and I was able to schedule an appointment for that afternoon. He showed up promptly, diagnosed the problem (a blown circuit breaker), remedied it, and did not charge for the call. This is a rental property, I was not there, so it would have been pretty easy to sell me something I didn't need, but he didn't. You just don't find that kind of service and integrity every day. When it is time to replace the water heater, I know who to call.

Perfectly. Joe came and tried to clear the clog. He diagnosed it correctly as an issue with a 30 year old toilet. Mike and Joe helped me to select and replace the toilet. Joe even looked at the consumers reports reviews with me and helped me analyze their ratings. We made what I think is a really good choice. I LOVE the new Kohler Wellworth, ADA complaint elongated toilet. Joe is really personable and friendly. He cleaned up really well and made sure I was happy before he left.. I won't use anyone other than Mike and Joe going forward. Our next project is to replace the bathroom sink!

They were quick and cleaned up well. The new pipes were so nice I wanted to take a picture. Everything seems to be working fine.
