This was an amazing experience! We had no idea where to start. We wanted to replace a decades-old linoleum flooring in our business. The guys had to scrape up the old flooring, then level the floor because it was incredibly uneven. The new tile they've put down is amazing. Every joint is tight. The floor has a light spring to it - very good for those of us constantly on our feet. The work was immaculate - nothing to clean up. The job could not be more perfect. Pete and his guys are really the best. Pete's a straight shooter - you know exactly what you're going to get. He delivers on his promises. It's an unbelievably beautiful job. Highest recommendation!

Much better than I expected. Two extremely professional young men arrived early, worked like beavers, moved furniture including taking off and putting back all the books on a tall bookcase, and made the carpet look new again (well, almost). Three office/bedrooms and two halls. Nothing like when we originally had the carpet installed.

Pete and his team were professional and fabulous to work with. They were understanding of our crazy moving situation and did a great job when the time came for installation. Looking forward to working with them again in November to redo our hardwood floors!

This review is long overdue. I called Floors Direct in a panic as I was preparing my house for sale. I foolishly decided to attempt to repair the carpeting in my previous home myself and only made the situation worse. Pete was on time, professional, and calmed my fears regarding potentially needing new carpeting given the damage I'd done; under a tight timeline and for a reasonable price. Likewise, the installers were prompt, professional, courteous, and did a great job. I highly recommend the services of Floors Direct.

From beginning to end Floors Direct did an amazing job. From the lovely woman who took my message and forwarded it to the sales department right to the day that the floor was installed it was an exceptional experience. I was in a time crunch to move from one condo to another. Originally I had contacted some other contractors who could not do the work by the date required. They simply could not get the flooring in time. Not only was Floors Direct able to accommodate my timing needs the floor they provided was beautiful and better quality than other floors I had initially looked at. After the installation I felt that the floor was even more beautiful then the samples that was shown to me and that I chose. The man who installed the floor just did a terrific job at laying the boards so that I got the exact look I wanted. I highly recommend Floors Direct for any of your flooring needs.

After careful research, my wife and I selected Floors Direct LLC to provide us with a new kitchen floor and carpet for the hallway and a bedroom. Pete met with us on a Saturday afternoon and he took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and provided ample samples for us to examine. He was very patient and he was extremely helpful with his suggestions. We made the decision and a specific week was selected for installation. The installation was done on time and the professionalism of the work was exceptional. We were thrilled with the quality of the materials and the resultant aesthetics. We enthusiastically recommend Pete and his company.

Excellent. This company knew their business and Pete Kelly got the job done with no muss and no fuss. They demolished the tile floor on a Thursday (they isolated the foyer from all adjoining rooms with plastic, they covered the stairs and upstairs with plastic as well and did everything possible to isolate tile and grout dust and cleaned up the mess leaving a clean sub floor- and brought the hardwood to the house to acclimate it before installation) and installed the hardwood floor on Monday. They sent the finisher over to install the t molding and finish the transition work with the stair runner and the adjoining living room carpet. The work done by all of these tradesmen was first class. I would certainly use them again for either carpet or hardwood.

I can't praise this company enough. Every person involved in this project was just a pleasure to work with. Pete, who brought carpet samples directly to our home, took hours to answer all our questions, and worked closely with us to pick the right carpet for our home, lifestyle, and budget. And Pete's installers, who showed up exactly as scheduled, were professional, extremely careful with our possessions, quiet and polite, and incredibly good at their jobs. Best of all, our new carpet is gorgeous. We will certainly be working with Floors Direct again. It's been many years since I enjoyed working with a contractor as much as I enjoyed working with this company.

Floors Direct is a highly professional company and they were honest, courteous, punctual, and responsive to any and all questions. They offer a small business and provide an individualized approach to their work. We love how our floors look and are so happy to have had Floors Direct do the work.

Pete is great very professional and knowledgeable. He was very responsive to all our questions and offered expert opinions/recommendations. Installers did a great job and got the project done fairly quickly.

Pete was very professional, responsive, flexible, and accommodating. We were fortunate that the timing of the work coincided with our vacation so we were out of the house therefore weren't inconvenienced. They took care of moving all the furniture out of the rooms and then back in when finished. We are very happy with the results. Our dining room was originally hardwood and the connecting living room was carpeted. The new hardwood they installed in the living room was done so seamlessly that you can't tell that it wasn't all hardwood from the start. They quickly responded in addressing some minor touch ups.

Pete and Millie were a pleasure to work with, especially after my experience with big box stores like Home Depot. Millie is the office manager and was prompt, courteous, organized, and helpful in scheduling the estimate. Pete is the owner, and his customer service was incomparable. He was very knowledgeable, attentive, and went out of his way to loan us samples for viewing. Unfortunately, after much discussion, we decided to go with a different product and a general contractor who we had already engaged to do other work around the house. However, Pete’s customer service was so remarkable that I plan on reaching out to him again when I refinish all my wood flooring in my dining room, living room, and bedrooms.

After leaving our home of 20 years, we were living at my sisters house. Our new home was uninhabitable due to years of abuse from heavy smokers. We ripped up the carpeting and flooring and were shopping for to replace these. This was in the beginning of November and most companies we contacted were less than egar or unresponsive. The ones who did respond said there would be no way we would be in our new home before the holidays. Our son's friend knew Pete Kelly's son and gave us his number. Pete returned our call the same day and arrived with flooring and carpeting samples that very night (in the pouring rain, I might add). By now it was mid November. Peter could not promise we would be in our home by Thanksgiving, but said he would do his best to accomodate us. He immediately got on the phone and arranged to have installers ready as soon as the carpet came in so we could at least live in a portion of the house. As our story continued, the carpeting that came in was the wrong carpet, so Pete stepped up to the plate again and arranged for another shipment and insisted to come and put in a temoporay rug so we could live in our home on the day he initially promised. The carpet installers Brian and Alex were truly craftsmen and an absoulte pleasure to be around. The following week they returned with a sub contracter and put the flooring down, and yet again proved true to thier skill! Not only were they efficient and polite, they cleaned up and left us with the home of our dreams. The whole process was nothing of amazing! We are so happy with the quality of the flooring and carpeting and it turned our new home into a real gem!! A big shout out to Pete and his team for a job beyond well done!

We didn't end up doing the project, they were very prepared and very thorough.

Great experience overall. Very thorough and honest and extremely knowledgeable. Wonderful crew to do the installation. It was a pleasure working with Pete right from the start of considering using his company and reviewing samples and discussing project and our budget, as well as timing. We wanted it done as soon as possible and that's exactly what was delivered -- fast, professional service. We had a great experience with his crew, Alex and Brian were professional, courteous and did a fantastic job installing our new carpets, especially with the stairs which can always be tedious. They took their time and talked me through every aspect of the process with kindness and consideration. We could not be more satisfied, happy and pleased with their work. Would absolutely highly recommend them to a friend, neighbor or relative.

I had no idea of the extensive amount of work involved with a vinyl floor installation (approx. 10' square) in my kitchen. It took several hours, in great part because of the extraordinary amount of care & consideration that went into the installation. The two young men who did the installation were each friendly, courteous, careful in the extreme, and extraordinarily competent. The original vinyl floor was approx. 35 years old, and was in terrible condition and stuck to the floor beneath. They had to cut and scrape a fair amount , and then level those spaces to the edges for the new flooring. The job was done to perfection, including parts that I did not know were included in the agreed upon price. (which was the same price quoted by other sales persons from other companies and even by Home Depot!) New kickplates were put in; 3/4" rounded molding was put on;and even though the original vinyl on this floor went in about 6" under the appliances, these installers put it all the way to the wall. No shortcuts, nothing slipshod, and then the debris was cleaned up immaculately. Then they finished the job with neat wooden strips to match the wood floor in the next room. I give this company and it's staff five stars. And you should know that I did not know them before this event, and we are not related! Just so glad I found them. :)
