Alex Matos did a wonderful job at our house! He gave a reasonable quote, took lots of measurements on his visit and made me feel like he knew what he was doing. He designed the railings himself and did a wonderful job making and installing them. The railings are very sturdy! I highly recommend Alex Matos.

It was fine. It took while to get it scheduled because I wasn't ready to have it done. It involved taking my back door off and I didn't want to do that in January and February. The stuff that I needed to have done didn't take 4 hours. What I was having done wasn't difficult. He showed up on time and he seemed to know what he was doing so I can't ask for more than that. There was no worst part. The best part was he was a nice guy. We had something in common to talk about so we were able to chitchat while he was working. I think it was worth a hundred bucks. It took a while to get it scheduled. I would possibly use them in the future if I needed more the same type of stuff done.

I want the provider to fix half of a double door on my garden shed and to give it fresh coat of paint. I called many, many times during a two months' period to schedule this job. I was totally ignored as he never even return any of my calls. I finally had to cancel this job as the cold winter sets in. I am truly disappointed with Angie's recommendation of this provider!

We were VERY happy with Don's performance and plan to hire him again for work in one of our bathrooms. He was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable about many areas of home remodeling and repairs. In addition to his friendly demeanor, he also gave us some great suggestions to save us some money. He worked non-stop for the time that was agreed to via the Angie's List Coupon. Across the board, a GREAT experience!

Dont believe the ratings, he is so overbooked that you wont ever get scheduled for the work. Unprofessional as my requests to give me a call were ignored for almost 3 months, see details of our communications below. All this without an apology. The provider never committed to a date after repeated attempts by me to set something up and subsequently the work was never done. Did not call me after repeated attempts and significant delays in responding to messages via angies list. This has been going on for almost 3 months. He is very professional. He arrived on time and cleaned up after himself. He was easy to work with and very knowledgeable.

It went very well. He worked efficiently and made sure he cleaned up when the work was complete. All work was completed satisfactorily. I would definitely recommend Don to anyone who needs general handyman help.

Don arrived on time for the appointment and started work quickly. Our priority task was the installation of a number of light fixtures, which he was able to complete efficiently with time to spare for a few extra handyman tasks not on our initial list. We also are preparing for a door replacement project, and Don was able to give an assessment of the required effort and a few flexible options for engaging his services on the project. Overall a very professional and experienced handyman, and we expect to work with him again in the future.

Though there were some troubles early on getting responses, yet everything else was great, including more recent responses. He was very responsible and hard-working, and I would use him again. He seems trustworthy and knowledgeable.

Pro: He is very professional and quite responsive with Angie's List communication mechanism. Once there in the scene he immediately work on the time slot as described in the coupon. In my case, it involves measuring the cabinet, going to a hardware store and buy a piece of wood that fit, bring it back, take out the old floor pieces and install the new one. Because there are water pipes that go through the cabinet floor, he also needed to cut the wood, make holes for the pipes and glue it back together in the place. He clean up after that also. In the end, because we still have time we asked him to do some other minor fixing and consulting. Generally, the experience is quite pleasure once he arrived. Con: The only thing that bothered me is that it took a while for us to be able make an appointment with him as he only wanted to do in in the weekend, and because he was busy at that time he did not have any opening for a few weeks.

They emailed me in response to my puchase of the big deal. They could not come to my house until April 1, 2015. When I responded to their email they never got back to me.

I am unable to use this deal because Don told me he only works on Saturday and Sunday and is not available till the end of march. He has not gotten back to me about when the first available date would be. I have requested a refund.

Don was amazing. He knew just what to do and went above and beyond to the point that he even put caulking in areas that someone else had finished.

Don was right on time and he gets right to work. We are very comfortable having him in our home. We plan to use Don as much as we can.

Don called to let me know he would be a few minutes later than the time we agreed on. He was friendly and accommodating and did a great job, cleaning up in all the areas he worked on in my condo. I will definitely use him again and highly recommend him!

We are having scheduling issues with him and he has yet to do the work. I let him know I was getting a refund from Angie's List and now he claims he will do the work in December but its been a while and I do not want to wait on him anymore.

I purchased Angie's' deal late last year. It took me a while to arrange schedule but once the date is arranged, everything went smoothly. Don asked me to make list of what I would like him to do and go over items before he started. Once I explained, he worked continuously until he completed what I asked. During he was working I never was interrupted so I was glad I could make use of my half of the day doing other things to do. (I rather want to be asked when there is question but Don understood what I wanted quickly and precisely so definitely of help.) His job was neat and clean. I highly recommend Don if you are looking for handyman.

He came on time and did the job as requested. His tool bits didn't support him when he started doing the second deadbolt, so he couldn't fix the third door. But I requested him to Change my mailbox post and he did it. Since I purchased the deal through Angie's list it took almost one month to schedule the work with him.

Too many details to mention...they all were carpentry projects...went GREAT!!

Don came on the date and at the time he promised. I showed him the fence and explained what I wanted done. He made a list of supplies he would need and he measured the wood. He then went to Home Depot and purchased the supplies. He did a good job and finished when he said he would. I have since hired him to do another job for me.
