At Home Maintenance & Repair

Unresponsive. Never got an answer when I called only email responses and the availability is too far out.

He arrived right when I was due elsewhere so I showed him what I wanted done, left him to do the work and came home that night to find everything done really well.

We traded emails, trying to schedule a time. He had to cancel, I had to cancel, finally, I sent him a couple of emails asking him to provide me with dates he could come, which were always on weekends, never during the week, and he just stopped responding. I sent my last email to him on 7/3/14, as this was right when it was expiring, so gave him one last change to respond, and he didn't.

Don is a very personable, energetic handyman. My house is 60 years old and is gradually in need of some repairs. He replaced a doorknob, reseated a heavy door that had come off its hinges, repaired a broken chair, replaced a leaky washer in the kitchen tap, reseated an outdoor light knocked out by a storm which he will replace at a later date, and installed a new mailbox. I would certainly recommend Don because I think he could repair anything.

Don was punctual, always very professional and very neat and organized. He did not require hardly any supervision. My husband and I were very comfortable having Don in our home. We plan to use Don for future home improvement projects in the very near future. We wish we had found him earlier!

We scheduled for him to come take a look at the work and give a proposal. He never showed up or called.

He contacted me right away to let me know they don't service my area. So unfortunately, I had to request for a refund on the deal.

Don was professional and courteous. He worked around my schedule and that was very much appreciated! He replaced every exterior light fixture on my house. Everything looks great. I plan on using him for many more home improvements! Thank you, Don!

I called him multiple times but was only able to get in touch with him via email. He offered me a time and when I accepted he said the time wasn't available anymore. It has been hard to schedule with him.

Attempting to communicate with this company was painful at best. I had to send inquiries several times. Was supposed to come over for an estimate and after some back-and-forth munication and trying to finalize the date and time I never heard from them. The provider's ability to effectively communicate (especially in the beginning) is a big part in my decision making process regarding hiring. Obviously I decided to go with somebody else.

This work was done as a 4-hour $99 Angie's List special. It was a great experience to have this work done by Don Eddy. Don is extremely capable and very professional. I'd be delighted to have Don perform some future projects for me.

I called him and never got a response, I tried to schedule the service but he wasn't able to do the job until sometime in June but we need the work done sooner.

Don had been pretty solid with all aspects of his work. Use Don. you won't be disappointed.

Don showed up early, asked what we wanted to do first and started right away. He was personable and flexible. We had a few things that we wanted done, but when we ran into some rotten flooring, we changed the plan and focused on removing the floor and the carpet and two layers of linoleum tiles that were installed in the powder room. He worked the entire time obligated on Angies List (4 hour deal), and when we were done cleaning up with 10 minutes left he said "what's next?" A pleasure to have him at my house, with lots of experience across multiple trades and we'll have him back!

He was very good. It was $99 for four hours. He did whatever was needed to be done. He was very nice and did a good job. Their responsiveness was good. In fact by his work I even got a customer for him and it was good.

Excellent job. All services delivered as promised. Wouldn't hesitate to use again

Everthing went fine. Don was pleasant, efficient, and very skilled. He used drop cloths. He cleaned up thoroughly after himself. I would definitely recommend him. He has an extensive task list, including painting, electrical, and plumbing. A jack-of-all-trades -- I will definitely hang onto his name and phone number.

I purchased the Anglie List Big Deal of 4 hours of handly man service for $100. It went well, Don was on time, knowledgeable and clean. He completed the projects in a timely manner without seeming rushed. He was able to change my two very old thermostats for my separate heating and air units and installed one thermostat new programmable unit. He also He installed a small ceiling fan, a light fixture, and replaced my 9' long window ledge that was rotted soft.

I signed up yesterday and he said he didn't service my area. I think he should have been more specific in the deal of his service area. He emailed me today and that's all I can say.

Everything went really great, Don was very friendly and knowledgeable, he also has a very wide range of skills. We will definitely call Don again for future projects. It is hard to find someone who is honest and reliable, Don is that person.

I do not think anybody can beat Don's quality, professionalism, responsiveness, and price, PERIOD.

Don was excellent. We are going to have him take care of a dozen or so maintenance activities in preparation for selling our house.
