I had a refrigerator that stopped cooling. Mark Tuz came out quickly and repaired my refrigerator with a part he had on his truck. His prices were very fair. I could not be happier. My refrigerator is now running perfectly.

This company is a nightmare Mark came to diagnose my dryer and why it was making such a loud banging noise he said it was the blower motor I told him to order the part he charged me $95 dollars for the initial visit came back with the part and proceeded to try and fix it he was having a problem getting the blower motor off so he started breaking it in pieces with a wrench then used a torch to try and loosen it and burnt the motor then told me he had to order a new motor left the house and left the dryer in pieces all over the garage I called a new company to come evaluate it I was told that the motor was totally burnt and the dryer had to be replaced I will tell all of you never use this company again horrible had to get a whole new dryer and when my husband called them the woman who answered the phone was very nasty and cursed my husband out no people skills and an all around terrible company the worst I have ever dealt with

This is a completely false review. My company was contacted by a local duct/vent cleaning company, and asked me to assist in diagnosing this person's dryer after their company cleaned her dryer vent. After the other company finished cleaning this customer's dryer vent, the dryer would no longer start. I went to this person's home and took apart the dryer to assess the problem. I found that the blower wheel was broken. In trying to remove the broken blower wheel from the motor (they're attached) I needed to loosen the connection using my torch. At no time was any damage done to her dryer by me. When I arrived at her home, this dryer already had a broken blower wheel. After determining the needed parts and costs, this customer declined to have her dryer repaired. She paid my usual service charge (which was greatly discounted by me, even after spending well over an hour disassembling her dryer.) Two weeks later, this customer had a man call my company, and my wife answered. This man demanded a refund of the service charge they paid my company--he stated "We had to buy a new dryer." My wife ended the conversation with this man due to his extremely angry nature. My wife then called the dryer vent company who created the dryer issue to begin with. My wife was told that indeed THEY purchased a new dryer for Mrs. [Member Name Removed], and they also mailed out a check to cover the cost of my service charge. When my wife called this customer to tell her that I would call as soon as I got back in the office, and that they would be receiving a refund of our service charge, she went on an angry tirade, threatening to "ruin" my business. This woman has been leaving the same angry review on numerous sites across the internet. She should be aware that what she is doing easily falls into the category of illegal slander and defamation. My company will be contacting an attorney regarding these false, malicious reviews.

Mark, you are a genius, you successfully diagnosed a problem with my old freezer in a matter of moments. It turns out that the broken part is now obsolete, and no one carries it anymore. Mark researched the part and found a replacement. The part was ordered and it arrived very fast and the installation was just 30 minutes and the freeze works great again. Honest, reliable, and great service prices. I would highly recommend Mark to any of my friends with no hesitation!

Our company doesn't "try to diagnose problems over the phone." We do sometimes offer simple suggestions to correct an issue prior to having a repairman out. (as many honest companies do) Often a newer major appliance merely needs a computer "reset." Many computerized appliances today are very much like a home computer--and sometimes need a reset after a power interruption. Since honesty isn't commonplace in today's world, some customers (such as this one) tend to not trust honesty when they get it. We do not service every brand of microwave--it's likely this customer had a brand we don't service. We kindly tried to help him anyway. We're not sure why he was allowed to post a very negative review when he did not hire our company for service.

I called to have Mark come in to check out my washing machine which was giving me an error code and wasnt operating at all. Without even having to come in, Nancy called me back and told me which steps to take to fix the problem on my own. I was very pleasantly surprised and thankful for their service. Ill definitely be going to them the next time one of my appliances acts up. Thanks again!

Description of Work: We rated Mark yesterday from a service call on Sat. We were happy with his initial response and repair. However we had to call him back out for same issue. He did respond today but couldnt resolve issue. He mentioned his Wife googled the issue which we found odd. He did not troubleshoot and told us it could be the circuit board again which he replaced 1 yr ago. He did refund us for part replaced and charged us for trip/labor. We decided to call another company from Angies List who turned out to be very knowlegeable. He pulled cover off and found issue quickly and replaced it. His rate was fair. Its disappointing that Mark didnt work out . Nice guy

Please see this same customer's review from one year prior--when we worked on this same dryer--we've copied and pasted it here: "Mark responded quickly after the sandy storm. We had electrical damage to our dryer. Mark ordered the board and completed work within days of request. He also repaired a drum problem that we had been dealing with for an extended period of time out fear for cost. It was a very fair price for work completed. We would use his service again and recommend him to friends or family." As for not scheduling an appointment the 2nd time around, Mark honestly informed the customer it wasn't cost-effective to repair this dryer again. We stand by that. As for "Googling" to find out what the problem was--our company doesn't "google" how to repair appliances. Mark was referring to the office manager looking up service specs on the manufacturers' site.
