It turned out fine. It didn't cost more. They were very good. The only complaint I have is that they didn't give a statement. They didn't give me anything in writing stating what they had done.

Arrived on time, very friendly and personable, worked quickly and quietly, but showed me the workings of the gas fireplace. Kind and trustworthy. An all around pleasant experience...especially since the last technician was only a chimney sweep and not able to perform these functions.

It went well. The repair took a couple of visits due our older model of fireplace needing parts that are no longer standard. Gas Tech had to special order and then modify parts to complete the repair. We were pleased with his service.

Larry arrived between the time frame he quoted. He was knowledgeable about our specific heater and began to explore the issue we were having (pool heater would not turn on). He checked the voltage to the pilot and found it to be below the standard. He then cleaned it and the gas-line tubing to the pilot. He also found a problem with the thermostat which prevent the heater from staying on. With our approval he disconnected the thermostat so the heater works through the on and off switch. He offered to replace the broken part but we declined and decided to run the heater through the switch. Larry knowledgeable, professional in performing the job. We would strongly recommend Larry for services dealing with gas heaters/ fireplaces.

I called this company after reading some reviews in angle's list. Although my appointment was schedule about a week from the day I called, I am very satisfied with the service provided. I previously had a different company check the fireplace three times for the same issue and the problem was never solved. Larry from Gas Tech Services was very professional and punctual. He explained and showed me what the issue was with the fireplace and also gave me information about the regular maintenance of gas fireplaces (my first time having one). The price charged was the same It was given to me the day I set up the appointment over the phone. Feel free to contact this company, I am very satisfied with their service. (The $125 does not include tax).

Larry arrived precisely in the time range that was given me. He introduced himself and I showed him to the fireplace. He immediately covered the entire carpeted area with a tarp to avoid any dirt or residue from the fireplace. He removed the logs and cleaned out what he needed to. He was then able to repair the existing igniter/pilot light and added the necessary embers to maintain a fire which I was unable to do before. Larry was polite, informative, honest and very professional! I wouldn't hesitate to call Gas Tech and have Larry come out again for any issue I may have concerning my fireplace. He was very pleasant, a genuinely nice guy!

They were excellent. I have recommended them to other people. With regard to price, they were in the market with everybody else who we got prices from. Other people told us that we couldn’t have what he gave us like a remote control, because we live in a condo and the fireplace is really small. They are very reliable. They stand behind their equipment and their products that they sell. The remote control didn’t work on ours. He came back. He finally said that it's the manufacturer and that they tried a new thing and it's not working right. He said that he was going to take it out and put in a whole new one for us, and he did. He stood by everything. I would absolutely use them again in the future.

Office called ahead of time to confirm. Technician arrived on time, worked efficiently, invited me to watch process so I would be familiar with what he was doing. Covered carpet to protect from soiling. Left living room perfectly clean.

For the last 2 years we could not enjoy our gas fireplace in our home because it would not stay lit. We called Gas Tech Services and the very next week they repaired and cleaned our fireplace. It is wonderful to have our warm beautiful fireplace functioning again! My only regret is that we did not call them sooner!

There is nothing I dislike. I used them for that and I used them for my fireplace a couple of years ago. The bottom line is there are just not that many people out there that do that type of work.

The gentleman who provided the estimate arrived on time and was very professional. He had all of the necessary materials with him. The price was more than I wanted to spend, but compared to other bids I’ve received since it was reasonable. I was happy with our interaction even though no work was performed. The only drawback was that I never received a follow up phone call.

Everything went very well. They arrived exactly on time, worked efficiently, and were conscientious about keeping our space clean. Overall, we were very pleased with their service. I’d be happy to have them back again if the need presented itself.

I was happy with their work. Their technician seemed very knowledgeable and capable. I would work with this company again. In fact, I think it would be great idea for them to send us new flyers with a discount offer. We meet on the third Wednesday of every month, but I would need the flyer by the second Wednesday so there'd be time to make copies.

Overall, I was happy, but I did have to call them back to check something. They returned quickly, however I discovered another issue a few days later. I called them back a second time and the office advised they wouldn’t be able to return until after Thanksgiving. That phone call left me with the feeling that I was being pushed off.

THE CORRESPONDENCE WAS PROMPT, THEY WERE ON TIME FOR THE JOB,PROFESSIONAL AND WERE FINISHED BEFORE THE TIME THEY SAID. MOST OF ALL THEY CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES AND THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE. WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
