Description of Work: Mark from Empire Masonry was very nice and informative when he first visited our home. He gave us a price for a stamped concrete patio with concrete steps which they built. At first we were very happy with the work, but a couple of months later we started to have problems. We had some planters on the patio which we brought into the garage when Hurricane Sandy was coming to NJ. We noticed the concrete under the planters was white while the color of the rest of the patio was brown. We called him and he said that we shouldn't have put planters on the concrete. Well, he never told us not to do that, so now we have six white circles on our brown concrete. He then told us we should have had it sealed. When he did the job, he said we would have to have it treated about every two years, this was four months after the work was done. We also paid for the foundation of our house in the patio area to have concrete put on it to match the patio. Six months later the concrete was cracking and falling off. It was an extra cost of almost $300 for that. |The reason for this review is not the fact that we had problems with the work that was done, but the fact the customer service was non existent. We called three times and each time Mark said he would come and look at it but never did. It is now two years later and we're still waiting. |Although we loved the work right after it was done, the lack of customer service would make me never recommend them.

Description of Work: Re-cement exterior of foundation and re-cement areas around steep and porch, and around glass block window that was leaking

Description of Work: 1. Removed front door steps brick trim and concrete walkways 2. Installed front door steps' ledge borders (form of stone) 3. Installed front & back paver walk ways (herringbne style)
