As a first time home owner I was skeptical when it came to work in our home that we worked so hard to purchase, but our house needed plenty of updating and we wanted to feel like our home not just a house. Through the course of four years Anthony and his team of professionals have consistently provided perfection when it comes to work and detail. A huge factor for me when it comes to work in my home is timeliness, dependability, and trust as I have small children. Anthony’s attention to detail makes sure not one spect of dust is left behind and the work itself is absolutely beautiful. Initial work, although it took about 4-6 weeks longer than it should have, looked good once finished. Anthony DiDonaro was the general contractor and he brought in all of his chosen vendors for electricity, plumbing, tile, etc. Altogether, we spend over $125,000 on the remodel. The kitchen floor was to include a heat mat, which was in two pieces. After only 8 months, one piece stopped working. The electrician (Ed Johnson) was not interested in coming to check out why. Anthony came and realized the floor mat would have to be replaced, which meant digging up the newly installed kitchen floor tiles. That was in January of 2019. In March, Anthony informed me that the new mat was in. After MANY attempts to get him to agree to a date for the repair work, all emails and voice mails from March until July being ignored, I eventually made contact with him. He told me to “take him to court”, but he had no intentions of helping me. I paid Anthony DiDonaro over $23,000 and Ed Johnson, the electrician, almost $7,000. If you want to hire someone that does not stand by his work, will create chaos while on the job, is very unprofessional when faced with a problem, then Anthony is your guy! Otherwise, I truly caution you when considering using Anthony DiDonaro General Contractor for any work that you need done.
