ABF Freight System Inc

I had three pallets of freight, all well organized, shrink wrapped and banded. All three pallets had been dropped, and one, containing metal file cabinets, had obviously had extremely heavy objects dropped on top of it, causing dents so deep in the top that it is now impossible to open. The contents will now have to be removed by using a grinder to cut the tops of the file cabinets off. One item was also missing from that pallet. There was a report of transit damage to an intermediate freight center, but I was not informed until I called and asked. I never saw the report. The response from ABF, after my sending damning photo documentation, was a query about the estimated weight of the damaged objects. I received a check for $20.00.

They bring a trailer, you load it then they come back and drive to your new place. They then drop at your new home. From here you unload and five days later they come back and get the trailer. All of my belongings made it safe. They give you a wall to put up and you use your own pad lock so no one has access to your things but you. I would use them again if needed.

Great. Am going to use them again for shipment #2.

They were fine. I don't have a whole lot to say about them. I mean they basically unload and load the big boxes that I fill up myself. They're a nation wide company. I found them to be fairly inexpensive. The only negative thing I can say about this company is that they were a little slow with the delivery. However, I have to be thankful that nothing was broken in the process. I think that their pretty professional and responsive. I felt like their price was good for what they did for me.
