DELICATO TRANSPORT MOVING

Extremely well. It took a littl elonger than they expected, but everything was moved and put in its proper place in the new home. One wood chair was damaged. They took the chair with them, had it profesionally repaired, and returned the chair in one week. You could not tell where the damage was! The guys were all very personable and helpful. Would absolutely use again.

The people from Delicato moving were complete professionals every step of the way and worked extremely hard to handle the entire move, even working with the storage facility in coordinating the second smaller unit that was needed for everything I had to store. This was for both packing on Thursday and moving on Friday. They freed me up to work with my family on the things I needed to move short term while i search. I will definitely be use Delicato Moving again!

Broken furniture, lost hardware for furniture took 2 weeks to return to fix and when they did, they put the furniture together wrong with the wrong hardware and told us just never to move the furniture and it would not be a problem. Stuffed clothing into garbage can and other boxes that were not for clothing. Broken glass on artwork and picture frames. Was rushed because he had booked too many moves, used workers that never moved furniture before that he hired that day to cover the move, and they were terrible and dropped my furniture also they were virtual strangers to the moving company so they could not guarantee that these men would not steal or misbehave in my home. Over all the price was ok and they were prompt but if I had to do it again I would pay more for someone else.

Excellent movers! They arrived on the early side of when I was told in the pre-move phone call (9:00AM) and set right to work. Took about 3 hours to load 2 trucks for my 2 BR townhouse. The guys were poilte and asked if they could take a break at points. At most, the breaks were 5 minutes and they went right back to work. On the way down, they asked if they could stop for lunch, and even doing that they were still on time to unload at my new house. They were very careful withe bringing my furniture in over my newly finished hardwood floors, covering the floors where necessary and where we asked. The original estimate given by Joe (company owner) was $1444. The final cost came in under estimate. I would certainly them to friends and would definitely use them again.

The owner came to give an estimate prior to the move and said it would be that price or less. Between the time of the estimate and the move, we transported many items ourselves and were a little concerned we moved too much and didn't leave enough for the company to make money on the move. He promised 4 men the day of the move. They called on the morning of the move and came at least 1-1/2 hours late due to an internal problem and showed up with 3 men. Two hours into the move, the owner came stopped by. He commented he had never seen such an organized and prepared customer. He ordered 2 more men and another truck which arrived about 5 hours into the move. 2 men were experienced and excellent. The other 3 were new to the company. For the most part, they worked hard - however, the 2 experienced guys were great the entire time - the other guys sometimes lost focus. They ultimately did a good job, however, they were not finished until about 9:00 that evening - we didn't expect that. Needless to say, the hours were over the original estimate, even though we had moved many items prior to that day. The lead man for the job charged us slightly more, even though we kind of expected it would be less since we moved so many items ourselves. We didn't argue, however, because for the most part, they worked hard and we didn't want them penalized for the day. We did overhear a couple of the workers commenting how the owner underestimates, which puts more pressure on them when the customer starts to wonder why their price will increase. They also had inadequate tools when they needed to disassemble let's say a refrigerator door, which was one of the promised services for the move. The day ended up okay - just a couple of little dents here and there. For the most part, they did bubble wrap many items. They were all courteous.

I was very worried about moving as the industry really doesn't have a great reputation. The owner addressed all my worries and issues and also returned emails very quickly for other questions. I could see that I would have driven any other individual crazy but he remained calm and thoroughly addressed all issues. I was apprehensive up until moving day and then all my worries were alleviated. Delicato Transport treated my furniture and belongings as if it was their own. They were quick, respectful and responsive. They stayed within the price range quoted. Nothing was broken, no walls were scraped and nothing got wet (it was raining!!!). I would use them again in a heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend this company.
