Frank's Lawn Service started in 1979 when Frank was 12 years old pushing a mower around cutting neighbor's lawns. Frank has continued to oversee the work and hires good quality people. Our motto is Quality, Dependability, Pride and Respect. We enjoy our work and it shows. We are currently looking to add more customers in the small towns around our home base of Audubon, NJ.
In about a week, they called to set up a date to start the jobs. The people that work for Frank's Landscaping are good workers and know how to do their job. I didn't have to baby sit or watch over them. They worked the whole time doing the job, and I was very happy and pleased when I saw the results. The landscaping was just right for the choices and the windows could't look better. I could not have done any of this myself. Iam putting Frank's landscaping and handyman service in my phone book and offer my neighbors my new friend.
Description of Work: I started a home project changing some very old plants on the outside of my house. I dug up and got rid of the plants and realized, I need special people who know what they're doing. Off to the internet and found Franks Lawn and Handyman service. I called and they were very professional. I was fortunate because they were able to see me later that day. When we met he was very pleasant and wanted to know what I was trying to create with new landscaping. He had alot of ideas and definitely knew his plants and work. He was very easy to speak with which made choices and decisions very helpful to finalize. While talking I asked about two basement windows in the same area that needed fixing. He looked at them, took pictures and I decided to include that also with the job. We stayed in touch through e-mail and the estimate was very easy to accept, based on all the different work that would be done, landscaping and fixing windows.

Not well. I asked that the company call me in advance so that I could pull my car off where I park on concrete strips adjacent to my garage (I do not have a full driveway) so as not to have my car interfere with the work, but the staff just showed up and I happened to hear the mower running. The worker who did the mowing utilized a standing mower that just grazed over the top of overly tall grass/weeds and flattened them and entirely missed the low, flat weeds (immediately after they left, I spent about an hour, manually pulling weeds). The worker who did the trimming and edging did not have an edger, so he turned the trimmer sideways for edging, which did not give as defined a cut as an actual edger, which I had expected. It was not until after I paid the bill in full by credit card that I discovered that the worker who did the mowing apparently missed one area entirely and, over a 3-day period, I spent about an hour to manually cut this very high grass WITH A SCISSOR. In the meantime, I continued to wait for a break in multiple consecutive days of rain for the weed treatment. I did notify the owner by e-mail of my dissatisfaction with the mowing and, after not receiving a response within two days, I e-mailed the landscaping manager, who also did not respond. I then e-mailed both of these people that I was contracting with another company (whose fee per cut/trim/edge is $10.05 lower and per weed treatment is $5.05 lower). The owner responded only "OK, thanks - If you need anything else just contact us!" Although I did not specify my desired action, I thought that he would, at least, offer a free cut/trim/edge or a full or partial refund, but no offer was made.
