I hired Bowen Contracting to remodel my basement in my newly purchased home. I was living here for 2 weeks when disaster struck and the rains came and flooded my basement. I thought there is no way the basement could be finished but Jeff assured me that he would take care of the problem. Well to my surprise the water stopped and the project continued. Its been 3 months and not a drop and the job is just outstanding. Thanks again Jeff!!!

From the time the owner, Jeff, came to give us an estimate form the finish of the project we were very happy with everyone. Jeff worked with us to create the exact deck I had in my head to the REAL thing! Everyone was very punctual daily on the job and all employees were very respectful. The job site was left as if they were never there. Jeff did all of the behind the scenes negotiations with the township and was either on the job daily or in direct communication with me daily to make sure everything was going well. All in all we are VERY happy with our new outdoor living space and would use them again for any future projects needed.

The wooden bench seating that wraps around 3 sides of my oversized deck and the wooden lattice behind it -- which were installed by a previous homeowner -- were starting to fall apart after many years. I wanted to replace them with exactly what had been there before. When Jeff Bowen came to look at my deck, seemed very knowledgeable. He showed me how he could make the benches sturdier than they had been before, with the same clean look. He and his team were extremely punctual every time that they showed up. They were quick, professional and did great work. They were very neat, too -- they removed all of the old, rickety benches and lattice and didn't leave one errant piece of wood lying about anywhere. I'm so pleased with the look of my new benches and lattice, and I know that they aren't just attractive, they're sturdy enough to last for many years of outdoor entertaining. Also of note: Other contractors had suggested that I upgrade the project when they gave me estimates, and I appreciated the fact that I didn't feel pressured to change my vision when Jeff Bowen came for an estimate. He listened to what I wanted, said he could do the job and executed it better than it had been in the first place.

I researched intensely for the RIGHT local deck-business to remove the old splintered wooden deck from the back of our raised rancher and create a new maintenance-free porch with screen enclosure, using quality materials. While I had already interviewed a few people, Jeff Bowen was different. I sensed that right away. He KNEW his craft inside and out, as he has been doing it for a lot of years and his presentation reflected that. He asked me to describe what my goals were in this project. Others automatically tried to sell me "four season rooms" after I already explained to them my goal was to be outdoors with my toddler grand-kids, but on a porch which was safe for us and a porch which kept insects at bay. I liked the idea of a gabled roof as well. When we discussed design and materials (decking, railings, all-weather rated fan with light, extra strong screen fabric, stair riser lighting, and a security door for added safety) Jeff had samples of decking material and we discussed the pros and cons of each of our ideas. I must admit he had great ideas which challenged a few of my own, and in those issues, I bowed to his expertise. We came to an agreement. His price was mid-range as compared to others. Work was officially started in May after the proper township permits were obtained. Jeff and his crew worked with a fluid precision which only comes from years of experience. They were friendly and always worked when the weather cooperated. There were a few hiccups along the way, but nothing that could not be ironed out. Would I recommend "Bowen Contracting Inc" again? In a heartbeat. In conclusion, I no longer have to open my indoor patio curtain and see the eyesore of what used to be. Jeff and his crew built an outdoor haven which is very special, one which our family will create magic moments in for years to come.

I have 2new beautiful porches . Jeff and his workers were prompt and courteous and finished the job quickly. Came back to fix a couple things after the fact as well. Would hire again.

Jeff and crew started the work the day after New Year's. With crazy weather conditions they persisted. The project needed a few "tweaks" which I was completely involved with the decisions for any adjustments. I am beyond satisfied and absolutely love my new Sun room. As with a previous project of remodeling my home office, my "new"room feels like a part of the house and I couldn't be more satisfied.

It was a pleasure working with Jeff Bowen and his crew. Everything was done to specifications and requests. Once Jeff started the job, he did not leave it until it was finished. His work is high quality in design and workmanship. Punctuality was precise. Everyone was very polite and easy to talk to, very friendly. The workmanship is remarkable and priced right. You get just what you ask for, very professional. When I first found him on Angie's List and contacted him, he was very responsive. An appointment was made and he arrived right on time. Jeff and his crew did an amazing job. One of the best contractors I've ever worked with, I would definitely recommend him and use his services again. He made our vision come to life. We had a rickety set of stairs from the original builder, and Jeff constructed a full deck 15 x 10. I showed him a picture of what we wanted and it looks exactly as we wanted. I had ordered a set of post lights and Jeff was able to engineer a solution to make them fit, since we ran into some fitting problems. He and the crew started the day after we got a permit. We had a grumpy permit inspector who kept failing us on water in the post holes, but Jeff came out on the weekend with a pump and got the water out of there. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience. Thanks again Jeff!

Everything went amazing and we can't wait to use them again on our outside deck this spring. Love my new spaces and I am very happy and satisfied with the workmanship and professionalism of Bowen Construction.

Both jobs were amazing! Jeff is a true professional. He provides reasonable quotes and performs outstanding installations. The quality of the installation is always top notch! Jeff and his crew showed up the following week after discussing the project with Jeff and signing contract. They worked diligently, showed up on time, and worked non-stop. Complete professionals. Hanging from an already unstable structure is not for everyone but the deck now is as solid as a tank. You can see that Jeff & crew have been building these for a while and know what they are doing. The second part was the installation of vent for laundry area and awning siding replacement. Again this was a smooth operation and didn't take a lot of time. I would surely be contacting Jeff for a future (much larger) project on the third floor of our house. I'm glad that the job was able to get started with right away as it was something that was worrying us. Communication was great through out and I was always informed of what the next steps would be etc.

It took awhile to get the permits from the township, but Jeff was on top of the process, responding to their requests for more details about the project. Demo and construction proceeded as expected and Jeff was proactive about scheduling inspections to keep the job moving.

Everything went well from start to finish. Jeff was very punctual ,courteous, knowledgeable, and answered all my questions. He offered suggestions when needed , which were wonderful and the work was finished in a timely and professional manner . I love my decks ! The whole job took approximately a weeks time. The crew worked clean and professional. They worked tirelessly to make sure all they had contracted was complete. I love my new office! It definitely feels like part of the house now. Jeff and crew will be called again for our next project. SOON !

I really couldn't be happier with both Jeff (Bowen), his team and of course the final product. We had an aging deck that needed replacement, Jeff worked with us to find a great way to increase space and usability and he and his team worked meticulously to make sure what he have today is exactly what we wanted. The team was punctual, worked through some very hot weather, was respectful to my family and my house and when the project was done did an excellent clean up of the entire working area. I would gladly recommend Jeff and team to friends in need of a quality and reliable team.

I could not said enough good about Jeff and his crew! It went so much easier and quicker than I thought it would. Once the job started it progressed in less than a week, even through bad weather. I can't say enough good things about Bowen contracting. Jeff's awesome, he does as promised. I would recommend to everyone! My wife and I have dealt with MANY home contractors and Jeff and his team have stood out on top. We couldn't be happier with our back deck. Azek light gray decking with white vinyl railing and white lattice and trim. Jeff added space underneath for waterproof storage and led lights in every post, connected to a switch inside. Jeff was very easy to communicate to and explained every step and process. He gave great recommendations and dealt with many back and forth scope changes. He is very competitively priced and finished above and beyond. His guys were great too, Great craftsmen with decades of experience. I will be calling them again to finish my basement!

It went every well, just took two days to build it. Not one piece of trash was left behind.
