Gil and his crew at Goias are amazing to work with. Each crew is so hard working and perform quality work, paying attention to detail. Gil is so honest and fair with his suggestions and pricing. He does not try to add things on to bump up the price and he even made suggestions and offered insight on some modifications he would suggest to be better for us. We used Goias last year for tile and concrete removal and a new floor install in the kitchen, living and dining rooms and the workmanship was so incredible, that they were the first call we made this year when we had a few new projects that needed to be done. Jose and his crew started with the painting. They spackled, sanded, primed and painted stairways, hallways, all bedroom doors, the kitchen, living and dining rooms & one bathroom including the ceilings and trim. They did an exceptional job and everything looks perfect. It is the best the walls have ever looked! Next came Thiago. He removed the old railings and installed new beautiful handrails and railing on the front porch. He took his time, meticulously installing everything perfectly. What a face-lift this was for the porch and it looks like a different porch! Incredible! Then Jose came with his landscaping crew. They removed concrete, retaining walls and a couple of tons of stone along with old flower beds and tree/bush stumps. They installed two new retaining walls, new flower beds, a new mailbox post and pavers all along the front of the house and walkway. When they were seeding the lawn they even went above and beyond filling in other areas of my lawn and seeding those areas as well even though they weren't at the spot the work was done. I let Jose pick the plants and he did an incredible job selecting beautiful, low maintenance ones at my request. Every single crew cleaned up when they left each day and left my home in immaculate condition. They were also very careful with opening the doors and the gates making certain to keep my dogs safely in the house or yard. I have referred Goias to everyone that needs a solid contractor as I know they produce quality work, are fair in pricing and are very responsive. It is so stressful to put your trust in a company, but I promise, Gil will live up to and then exceed your expectations. Thank you Gil for taking pride in your company! I had an exceptional experience working with Gil and his team at Goias Home Improvement. Gil, the owner, is the most professional, thoughtful and respectful contractor I have ever worked with. I initially called for my master bathroom renovation and also will be using Goias for several other projects including roof, gutters, and patio and deck. The work was a complete gut renovation of the bathroom, moving toilet and shower plumbing, adding a double vanity, tiling, custom shower, heated floors etc. Gil and his team executed it flawlessly. His initial estimate was the lowest of the 3 I received. He was also the most responsive and attentive. There was a sense of trust that I felt from day one. They started on the project the following week. Throughout the project he listened to ever concern I had, addressed them and was always open to changes and requests I had. Every worker that entered our house was respectful of our privacy and of the home. Gil responded thoughtfully to every phone call and text I sent him ( I can be a bit of a needy client). Gil came to the house to check up on the work frequently and communicate. While many contractors are overbooked and take on way more than they can handle it was clear that Gil managed the amount of work he could take on very well. When there was a small leak during the project Gil was here within minutes to evaluate and had someone fix it within an hour. The leak caused some water stains on the drop ceiling in the basement which was quickly replaced. There was a delay in the shower door, and Gil apologized and explained calmly what the issue was. One of the doors broke during the quality testing of the door. Gil also gave us a cheesecake made by his wife as a token of appreciation. It was delicious to say the least! Goias Home Improvement will be the only company I work with for future home renovation projects. They did high quality work, provided a great customer experience and communicated effectively. I almost feel guilty telling other people how pleasant my home improvement project was compared to the horror stories I have heard about other bathroom renovations. Gil and his team were very professional, reliable and maintained a clean job environment. They patched up holes in the subflooring, installed tile, installed the new cabinet, installed a new light fixture and painted the room. It looks perfect and now the bathroom is the nicest room in the home. They also installed a new front door and did a beautiful job. The whole team was very friendly and I felt 100% comfortable with their knowledge and the quality of work they performed. Highly recommended.

Preparing to list our 4-Family replica Victorian investment property For Sale, I interviewed 4 highly-rated contractors. I went with Goias Home Improvement for a few reasons. From the moment the company's owner Gil Ricardo arrived to review the job with me, I could see I was dealing with someone who pays attention to detail and actually cares to understand his client's goals. He was obviously knowledgable and made many useful suggestions, all of which took my project budget into consideration. The job entailed several miscellaneous interior and exterior repairs, including replicating some existing ornamental woodwork which his carpenter, Marcos, did an impressive job fabricating onsite prior to installing. His painters did an excellent job on some rather detailed woodwork which required skillful hands. Additionally, there was quite a bit of tile work, which was done meticulously. All in all, Gil and his team did a quality job within the promised time-frame, and he actually did it for a price I consider very reasonable. What else could I say? I highly recommend this company.

The work was done perfectly and quickly as always, very professional. Gil always keeps me updated on how the job is going as I am usually at work. This job included many different aspects of repair and he organized the entire project and made sure it was completed properly and quickly.

My wife and I began searching for a contractor after devising a plan to finish our basement. It became very frustrating after hiring and firing several contractors in the beginning stages of this project. Gil and his worker were very responsible. He was quick to respond to our request for an estimate and gave us ideas for design. They began work several days later. They showed up when he said he would and did a great job of cleaning up when finished. We will reach out to him again for our next project.

Gil the owner is extremely responsive and keeps constantly in contact to quote, schedule and complete the projects. He brings contractor communications to a whole new level. He gets things done and done well. We love everything he's done for us. We are now in process of having him put in a new kitchen floor. Highly recommended for big or small projects. Gil does great work... cost is reasonable and they stay in touch re schedules, etc. These are the guys to hire if you want something done.

Went very well. Goias was prompt, and stayed until the job was done. Was very sensitive to our timing needs and delivered exactly what was promised. The difference between Goias and other contractors for me, is that every member of the team always seems to do that little bit extra that they really did not have to do, just in the name of excellence. In our case, some blemishes on the deck that were out of scope received touch up painting to ensure everything looked wonderful for my daughters birthday.

This was a big job that lasted about 4 months and the work was exceptional; better than I expected. They always cleanup the job site at the end of each day. We met with a few different contractors before making a decision to use Goias Home Improvement. He came to our home a couple times and made us feel comfortable and confident in him and his crew, and his price was very good as well. For our kitchen, we needed to move a door, move a window, and open up a wall. Gil was at the house often to oversee work, and even participate in demo. He was very on top of scheduling inspections and different workers to come. There was never a time we were just waiting when something could be done, which did happen to us often on a past renovation (when we added rooms to our home). Gil talked to us often to make sure we were happy with the work going on. Marcos and everyone that came to our house was wonderful, even with our two little kids. At one point during construction, even though there was plastic up to prevent this, so much dust traveled into our family room and dining room. Gil went above and beyond by sending a cleaning crew over! We were so grateful and impressed by this. Ultimately everything came out exactly as we wanted. It's all perfect! There was only one mistake that occurred during the process, when a couple of the wrong pieces of tile were installed into the backsplash, and the tile installer was back the next day to fix it and now it is perfect. Overall we are so happy we chose Goias Home Improvement and highly recommend them. We are happy to answer any questions as well! We plan to use them again on a future project. The owner of the business couldn't have been kinder, more gracious, or more professional. The new laundry room looks so clean and usable that it gives me a boost every time I walk in. He surprisingly reduced the price as I was writing the check! I plan to call him for more work in future. His helper was very hard-working and professional too, as well as very pleasant.
