This company is owned and managed by Bill Storck, of Atlantic City, NJ and was recommended by the realtor who sold us our home, Ashley Franchini, of Sotherby's Realty in Margate, NJ. His very persuasive sales pitch included the fact that Ashley recommends him to all of her clients and doesn't get any "kickbacks." He went on to state that he would be stupid to do wrong by us because he appreciates the work she sends him. The demolition work went by quickly and without problems, but as soon as any construction was being done our phone calls, texts, and emails were ignored. Excuses included telling us his phone fell into water and he was waiting for a new one (he told us this twice), that he had a very personal issue he was dealing with, that his subcontractors were being fired for their low quality work and he would fix their sloppy work (which he never did), and that the plumber or the electrician, etc. never showed up, but would come on Monday. Needless to say, no one ever showed up. The work that did get started was never fully finished. The siding seams are not caulked and water can get in, roof vents were not replaced at the time the siding was installed, so now they must be painted to match the house (instead of the maintenance-free vinyl we were promised), the disposal literally fell to the floor under the sink while we were doing dishes one day and broke the pipe it was attached to. We paid in cash for a ?discount? on the vinyl railing for the front porch and for flood vents (which we never received), our hardwood floors were damaged while he was here and caulk and paint are adhered to the new tile floor and new granite counter tops. In addition, the tile is cut jagged and sloppily, as if it was a DIY job. His solution was lots of caulk. The special order crown molding on the kitchen cabinets is not mitered correctly and all of the finishing nails are visible. Part of the cabinets were left without any molding at all. He also asked for cash to pay a plumber to fix various problems, but no plumber ever showed up. Another electrician we used stated that the job by the All-Star electrician was done incorrectly and not up to code. Bill also brought other people into our home without our knowledge to show him his work (in progress, because it was never fully completed). Many of the faucets and light fixtures we had purchased at Lowe?s or Home Depot went missing and when asked, he was angry, defensive, and loud about it. We had to replace them all at our own expense. Our exterior remains half finished, after several emails stating the job was fully completed and we should come to the shore and enjoy our home. This has been a disaster. DON'T BE NAIVE LIKE WE WERE. CHECK THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU: HE HAS AN "F" AND SEVERAL COMPLAINTS.

Response from All-Star Painting and Drywall
Let me first by saying what the member has stated is so far from the truth, On 1/10/2012 she hired me to do a job for her which included renovation of the Kitchen, and other thing that were needed to do from a home inspection. When we started the job I told her the job would be complete in 4 weeks if the kitchen cabinets she orders are in stock. We then signed a contract and started the work. After numerous time of me drawing layout for her kitchen we came to a conclusion that is was best for her to call home depot and have then draw the layout because the space was only 10 by 10 and we couldn't agree on a design. After the did the drawing the member finally after many many e-mail through out the day inform me that she had selected a kitchen and that the cabinets would not arrive till Feb. 20th. She said to you still want to do the job and I said yes, we will do whatever make you happy to get your job complete.when the materials arrived we completed the job and yes at one point it was a rush because she had all ready line up a men to come and measure and install counter tops.another nightmare on her behalf. When the install the counter tops she had them come back 3 time and take out and then re-intstall to her liking, when in fact the were perfect from the start. She would e-mail at least 4 or 5 times a day while I was on her job, and I can provide all of these e-mail as have I printed everyone each time. These e-mail where Bill while your there can you do this can you do that, and none of those thing where on my contract. Many time while I was working at the house she would call and e-mail Billy can you get me at measurement for this and that, and yes I did whatever she needed. There are so many e-mails from the woman for thing to weren't even in my contract the woman is a e-mail queen. If she wasn't happy with the work then why would she on 1/29/2012 would she hire me to do the siding on her home. The siding was preformed in a first class matter, she state the isn/t caulked. If she knew anything about about siding you DO-NOT caulk around the channel, it will not allow water to escape.Another time she had many other tradesmen working on her property, when she came down there were some items missing, and right away she blamed my guys and myself for taking those item again a e-mail that I have, and then 1 hour later calling me and begging for my forgiveness, telling me that the items where in her boyfriends car again I have printed this e-mail.I also have 3 e-mails from the member stating how happy she was to have me for a contractor and also for and I quote "Bill your the best thank you for dealing with all my crazy e-mail". Member I have bent over backwards in many many ways for you, who's calls a contractor at 11 pm at night to see if they got there e-mail. Everything I was contracted to do was complete except for the crown moulding on the cabinets and I agreed that I would that care of it, I told her that I hired a guy in which I did and he didn't do a good job at all,, so we agreed that I would get someone else to do it but that we would have to re-order the crown moulding and that it may take 4 to 6 weeks as did the cabinets because they were specials order and she agreed,, there were also a couple of extra's thing that were not complete but they were extra's that weren't on my contract, windows, lock, doors, I can go on and on and when I told her that I don't do extra's for free she got insulted, she said well I thought you were here you would do them and I said yes at a cost. At this time I told her that when we came back to do the crown we would finish up what ever she needed done she agreed. Never was I contracted to do a shower or any plumbing in the house other then the dish washer and garbage disposal. As for the member stating that a woman from around the corner has been having issues with me that is also false, so she should mind her owe business and get the truth first. The woman she is talking about kicked in a door on a home that isn't hers that was the cops were there. The member and I came to an agreement that we would finish the work when the crown moulding arrived. 1 week later I got a letter from the BBB. since that later we not have any contact. So at this point I guess we will meet in court. She well tell her side I will show my side through all of her e-mails stating how lucky she was to have me and we will let a judge decide. Also the is a balance of 4200.0 including all of the extra's and only 2400.00 is for the original contract.
