As always , Al and Paul were the best in their workmanship. They arrived on time, performed the work needed and came back when I had a question about the ceiling paint job. I have recommended them to several of my neighbors, friends and family members! I wish that all services could be done by people just like them. They take pride in their work and it shows!! Thanks, guys!

Went great. Showed up 5 minutes early and was very friendly and personable. They took down the old set of stairs and put up a new set of stairs that I had purchased from Home Depot. They soon realized they would then need some new molding so they went out, picked up the molding and finished the installation. Al noticed that the attic fan seemed to be running more then it should and adjusted the setting on the fan. He asked us if he wanted to put a coat of primer on the new stairs and molding and with a big smile on her face my wife said yes! Next was removing the old lamp post from the ground and installing the new pole. They had to dig a hole about two feet long to get to the electric. They did it in such a way that they were able to save the and quot;sodand quot; and place it back when done :). They poured the cement, sunk the pole, hooked up the electricity, hooked up the sensor, the electric outlet and then installed the actual light fixture on top of the new pole. They did a fantastic job and both the pole and the grounds around the pole looks great. My wife then mentioned that there was a small problem with a drain in the master bath. Al took a look, went to his truck and the next thing we knew it was fixed and at no extra charge just like when he adjusted the attic fan. They did a great job and I was very please with the quality of their work, the positive attitude they showed, the way they cleaned up when they were done. The pricing was very reasonable and now that I know how good they are I am thinking about putting together another list for additional repairs that need a professional touch rather my somewhat questionable approach!

As always, Al and Paul do the best job - responsible, prompt, reliable, excellent work. They're my go to guys!

They had to actually make the opening in the ceiling larger to accommodate the attic stairs and in doing so they had to move the ceiling fixture back a few feet. They do great work and cleaned and vacuumed up the mess. Nice surprise to come home to that day!! As always I will continue to use their services and keep recommending them to others.

They are both very personable and professional. They make suggestions without being "pushy".

Everything was finished as contracter stated in the time given. The service was done in a professional manner. I was very pleased with the work when completed .

I called them one day they called back the next. set up a time for them to come to give estimate on job. they came over on day and started the job after completing a job at another house. came back to finish the job.

We've been extremely happy with Al, that's why we've used him for four projects in the past 5 months. He has so far been able to quickly identify our problems (like where leaks are coming from) and fixed them completely. His prices have been extremely reasonable for the quality of the work.

That was a great experience and we are definitely going to work with them again.

As usual, Al and Paul are great to work with. This time I was going to have them paint one wall in the den (a really ugly accent wall) to match the others, but they convinced me to paint the entire room, plus the trim on the floorboards and window. Am I glad I did! With the fresh coat of paint, and the flat screen TV mounted on the wall (minus the massive armoire), it looks like the room was remodeled. Al also did a terrific job putting together a foosball table we purchased for our son, a feat considering the awful assembly instructions. Because Al also replaced old electrical outlets (and outlets with unsightly safety covers) with new tamper-resistant outlets, my house no longer looks like baby-proofing central. Al and Paul also kindly caulked a bunch of holes from recently-removed baby-proofing items like gates, etc. I've used AOK Handyman Services for a variety of projects since 2007, and every time I am happy with their work. He is fantastic. I have used them a couple of times. He is really reasonable.

What I liked about the work was the detail. They did great detail work. They were dependable. They were on time. The owner had a great personality. He was a pleasure to work with.

Al and Paul were so professional. Arrived promptly and the work done was excellent. Gave me a good price on all the repairs done. I felt very comfortable around them. Would definitely call them again. I even asked them for their business card so I can refer them to my friends that are in need of a good handyman service. Nancy, their administrative support, was also very professional - give her an A also.

Me and my wife had about 6 to 8 estimates. I interviewed Al and Paul first and right away I felt comfortable around them and I knew that my wife and family would to. Because I did not want people working in my home for as long as they would be and not feel comfortable. Al and Paul showed up on the first day on time and ready to work. They started in the livingroom first by fixing apart of the ceiling that had been water damaged. Then they started painting and as they went along Al had made some suggestions about maybe adding crown molding, we did and we love the way it looks. Once they finished in the livingroom and hallway they started in the kitchen and again Al and Paul where very helpful. They guided us when it came to purchasing the the cabinets in our kitchen. The cabinets the crown molding and painting all turned out better than expected. Al and Paul did so many other little things like hanging curtains moving things and just being very friendly. Bottom line is we would and are having them back to do more work.

As usual, Al and Paul arrived on time and completed all the work with professionalism and attention to detail. In the past we have used their services for everything from remodeling a bathroom to replacing shingles/siding and painting back of our house. This time main job was installing a ceiling track light in the den along with a light switch dimmer, as well as several other odd jobs. The work was quickly and efficiently completed within several hours. I can't say enough good things about AOK Handyman Services, and highly recommend them!

I was very impressed with AOK Handyman, they came on time and did a wonderful job. Our furnance went and we needed it installed ASAP. The company installing the furnance advised that we needed to have someone frame and sheetrock an area for the vents to be run through our dinningroom and livingroom and up to our attic. AOK came out, I explained what we needed done and the urgency of having it done asap. AOK contacted our furnance installer and they were able to come the same day the furnance was being installed and worked with them. I appreciate that AOK took the initiative to contact the furnance contractor, find out exactly what he required, and came the same day the furnance was installed. I live in a 100 yr. old house and nothing is easy when it comes to repairs. I was worried about matching up the old molding along the bottom of the wall. AOK was able to carefully cut the molding and place it back in place. It looks like they never removed the molding. They are very meticulous with their work. It's hard to find someone like them. AOK had to come back the next day to finish the spackling. They were more than happy to do a couple more odd jobs for me. I asked them to caulk around the tub and they caulked the whole bathroom. It looked almost like a new bathroom. Also, they repaired a closet door that kept falling off its track and tightened several pieces of molding in my kitchen which were coming off. I highly recommend AOK Handyman and am definitely using them in the future.

Al's performance was excellent on every level. He arrived on time; Discussed options for the various repairs to be done and purchased the materials. Each repair was done flawlessly. Very clean work. Cleaned up the work areas, leaving no trace of dirt or debris. His final charges were in keeping with his estimate. Al is professional and very personable. I would not hesitate to use his services again, and I would also highly recommend A.O.K. Handyman Services.

Mr Al contacted me within a couple of days and came to give an estimate via email. Started project as scheduled and on time. Both Al and Paul worked well together and are very professional. All the work was completed in 5 days. The estimate for cost was dead on except, we decided to add crown molding which only increased price by $150. They also did little extras and did not charge extra !! I now have a new handyman.

They planned out and built the gazebo, were clean, fast and professional. Their other jobs have gone just as smoothly.

When they came for the estimate, the old attic stairs were broken and hanging down. They drilled a screw into the stairs to hold them closed and keep the cold air from coming into the house. They did this before they even got the job. What a great company. They came when scheduled and did the work for the price of the estimate and the work was done in a professional manner.

They came at 10:00 am and were done everything by noon! They are professional and thorough, no matter how large or small the job. Since first finding them through Angie's List for a small renovation project in 2007, I have used A OK Handyman Services a number of times and have always been pleased. They are easy to contact (yes, they return calls the same day), with extremely reasonable rates, and are a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended!

When I called initially, I explained to a representative what my needs were. She said the earliest they could get someone to the house was in two weeks. On that day, the Al Oriente called and said we could discuss the problem over the phone, and after discussing a few of the specifics of the project, I asked him to come to the home to assess the situation because of the vaulted ceilings. I wanted his opinion so that I could purchase the right fans. About an hour later, he said he was in the area and could come by. When he did not arrive, someone from the office called and told me that Al Oriente could not install a new ceiling fans due to New Jersey state law. He could only replace or repair. They did give me an additional name of someone who could comply with the law, but I was disappointed with A O K because I had made my situation clear up front. At the time, I had received no negative response, which makes their eventual refusal of the project a little suspect. I waited two weeks for them and am no further along with my project.

Better than I could have hoped for. They responded to me within two days, we set a date and they were prompt, courteous and professional. The job went smoothly and everyone was happy with the outcome.

I would definitely use them again, and I would recommend them to others. They're very friendly, very anxious to please me, and what else could you ask for?

All of his employees were both pleasant and easy to work with. They always discussed the work with my husband and myself. This I found to be an excellent plus. If he said he would do something, he did it. Always on time. He and his employee worked well together. His telephone service could have been better. However, this was minor compared to the work he did. I would ask him to do more work for me. Can't say more.
