 + -1 moreWe have several pieces of beautiful, inlaid furniture, made by the White Company. The appraiser came on time and was able to place the approximate date of manufacture in the 1930's and give us the wholesale (but not retail value). He was polite and seemed knowledgeable about the items. We had agreed to pay $50.00 for the appraisal. However, we did not understand prior to the appraisal that it would not be given to us in writing unless we paid an additional, unspecified fee. I am not sure if we were mislead, or if we misunderstood what you get when you use a service like this.
