Advanced Heating & Air Conditioning

Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning has been our provider for service for 20 years. They have always been available when needed. They perform quality work at a reasonable price. They replaced our air conditioning system five years ago. They have been keeping our 21-year old furnace in good working condition all that time. It was time to replace the furnace only due to its age. Advanced is our preferred source because of the positive experience we have with them. We chose a high-efficiency Trane furnace, new ductwork for our basement that had been finished over the years, and a better filter capacity in the duct. We are very pleased with the installation and performance of our new system.

Nick and his team at Advanced are awesome. They installed a new Trane HVAC system and some new duct work for us a few years ago and I can't say enough great things about them. Very efficient system that saves us money every month and no issues yet! They will be putting in a new downstairs HVAC system once that goes too. Also handle all of our biannual maintenance for both systems that we have. We recommend them to all of our neighbors and friends. Highly recommend Advanced Heating and AC!

Advanced Heating and Air Conditioning did an excellent job. The quote included top of the line furnace and A/C units (variable speed SEER 20 condensers) and still came in less than other quotes I received. Nick and his team were extremely professional, providing me with a well articulated implementation plan. The folks that were on site were very courteous and attentive to various minor details that came up during the job. The work was neat and tidy with complete clean up after the job was complete. Nick took care of all permits with the town and interfaced with the gas company. Overall a very, very positive experience, I would use them again for sure should the need arise.

Told Pete I had a guy look at it the day before and said, "This is a BIG job! I don't know what you're going to do! Looks like a bad compressor!"... and left!!! Pete checked a few things and said it was a condenser cooling fan capacitor. Went to his truck and brought back a new one and installed it!! Works GREAT now! Minimum labor charge and the price of the part! Told neighbors in the condo and 2 are setting up appointments for tune-ups!!

The furnance cleaning was suppose to last the whole year. Only about 4 months after Advance Heating & Air Conditioning came out, on December 21 the furnance shut off completely. It would not work at all so I gave them a call. I talked to some women in their office who said they could not come out on that Saturday but would give me a call back. In the meantime, I had my friend come look at the furnance to find the issue. We discoverd that when servicing the furnance, the technician from Advance Heating put the wrong size nozzle on the furnance. This caused too much fuel to enter the furnance and it burned too hot. Because it had been burning too hot, the chimney was clogged and the inside of the furnance actually cracked. In order to replace this part, it would cost about $300. To make matters worse, because the furnance was so clogged, there was the danger of carbon monoxide possibly leaking into my home.
